  1. I thought that the Mentor skill provided additional crew skills to all crew, but the commander. I moved my Tiger II crew, which is on its 5th skill/perk to the E 100 on Saturday. Today, I found myself putting together a new Tiger II crew, so I gave the commander Mentor, 2 crew members repairs and the radio operator situational awareness to restart. Low and behold, I played my first game with the new crew, got a 2nd class badge with 1738 damage, 2031 spotting assist and 240 blocked damage. The commander now is 25% trained on Mentor and the other crew members got 17%. The radio operator was already 31% on Situational Awareness, as he was left over from a sold tank. I don't know if you can see the picture I'm trying to attach or not. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0By1Pal24ZYNKYVpqYXlpNzJNenc/view?usp=sharing
  2. I'm kind of stuck in my gameplay and just want some casual mentoring from time to time. If anyone is interested please say.
  3. Greeting and Salutations.! Actively looking for a coach to help me improve my game play. I do enjoy the game but I feel that I am limited in self improvement without knowledge of things that I might make a big difference in my results. I do have tier 1 - 10 tanks and currently at 4k battles and 47%. Look forward to hearing from anyone willing to coach me for a reasonable fee. Thank you Bart {BullseyeBart63}

  5. Hello everyone! As I commented when I introducted myself to the community, one of my main goals of joining WotLabs is to receive feedback on how to improve my gameplay. I also said that I would be showing my best replays, because what I want is good players to tell me how to squeeze the extra out of a game. I already know what I do wrong when I have terrible games, obvious is obvious, so I would be thankful is you folks focused on the "what could have I done in order to do extra damage and exploit the different opportunities that I had during the game, which I was not aware of" thing. Anyway, enough rambling, here are my best* two recent games: http://wotreplays.com/site/3094620#sand_river-capirage-t37 http://wotreplays.com/site/3094626#mines-capirage-amx_13_75 *not actually the best, I also have a tiger 2 game which is better stats wise, but has really nothing fancy about it.
  6. SmyleeRage's University Of Tanking! What is SmyleeRage's University of tanking? This is a course I've decided to remake that I did in the past when I first started coaching over two years ago, I as a coach have improved Immensely when it comes to my teaching methods & explanations so I felt now was the time to do this again. I will also have Guest Teachers (Unicums) to help me with these classes and also to add another point of view. What you need to know! These classes will be 2 hours long and held on weekends every 2-4 weeks (depending on how many sign up) Each class will cost $2 "$1 an hour" and the payment will be through paypal during the check in 15 mins before the class starts Come with at least 1 tier 8 & tier 10(optional) fully crewed & equipped the way you like The classes Voice communications will be on the Wotlabs: Teamspeak What does a 2 hour session look like? Payment/Roll call Start with Questions on any tanking subject (Meet 'n Greets) We will go over screenshots of tank compositions and work out where your Ally/enemy would go on the map with (Stratsketch) what the weakness and strength of your team is combined with map side and where you should go taking all of this into consideration & tips on situational awareness Tank/Crew setup etc Question Time Work with stratsketch on new/difficult maps "positioning/Crossfire/Choke Points" Question Time 1-3 simulated matches AAR (After Action Review, for the first 1-3 matches) "what went wrong what people can improve on etc" Question Time Goodbye's How will a simulated match work? Once everyone is in and ready to go, I will place people similar to match maker on either team 1 or team 2, so one team would not be stacked with any particular type of tank, or so one team does not get all auto-loaders and the other gets none. You will then be let loose on each other to play as you see fit so that I can watch and find the flaws to address them afterwards. Also allowing me to see things from an angle you can not, so that you can become conscious of a particular bad habit that you did not realize you had. What does an After Action Review consist of? As it says, after the dust settles I will discuss the battles, listen to you talk about your particular issues with the way the fights went and address them and tell you what I saw from an outside view. As well as show you (via StratSketch), things you may have missed such as an opportunity to push a weak point, a flank you could have seen coming etc. Also there will be peer review going on at the same time, to hear from your teammates about things they saw from their point of view that you may have missed or did not know you were doing in a polite and respectful manner. School Rules: Treat everyone with respect You will be banned if you break the first rule Come ready to learn Come ready to tank it up or suffer the wrath of peer ridicule (as long as it does not break the first rule) Be intelligent and thoughtful with your remarks during peer review. Listen Do not be intoxicated to the point of being unable to play Have fun! Why should I want to take this group lesson? whats in it for me? Because you want to improve! regardless of where you are now, you know you want to be better or you wouldn't even be this far down the post and that is something to be proud of. You want to make more of an impact on your team, or you are hitting a plateau which you're stuck at and trying to figure out what will get you up to the next one, or to reach a personal goal you are setting for yourself. All of these are good reasons and I'm the guy to come to get that help I've been one on one coaching for over two years and I now feel I'm skilled enough to offer you guys that don't have $15+ dollars to spend on me something to learn and improve on, Just try it once I guarantee you won't regret it. Class Dates & Start Time: December 3rd 2pm PST & December 4th 10:45am PST In order to get the maximum number of students I have made both Saturday and Sunday available to sign up for those of you that can make it to both please sign up for both so I can see how many people can make it to each day! that being said if a day is picked you will be notified Via email and if you have any questions about this or concerns feel free to message me. Example: 15 players sign up for both the 3rd and 4th 5 sign up only for the 3rd "not counting the 15 the signed up for both" 13 sign up only for the 4th "not counting the 15 that signed up for both" 17 players for the 3rd 28 players for the 4th Spread the word even if you don't want to take these lessons maybe a friend would like too and maybe you have a friend that you know needs it pm me and pay for him in advance and help a friend out with his tanking skills! Have any questions? Feel free to pm me and I'll get back to you ASAP

  9. So I have recently got the M103 and I have been doing somewhat well in it but there is one problem I keep facing, I just can't seem to win in the tank. I am looking for someone who is great at playing the M103 to show me how the tank is played(to win, carry the team). It seems that I am struggling to grasp the tank, either that or I just have terrible luck with matchmaking. If you look at my win rate versus my win8 in my M103 you'll know what I mean. Once again, thanks. Please contact me on here or in game (username: Snorbett [-SSS-] Good luck and I will see you out there!
  10. Hi, I'm Fiaura The Tank Girl. Yes I normally post a lot of youtube stuff here but as I've started mentoring people in the World of Tanks University Clan (NA and EU), I figured I'd offer direct mentorship here as well and continue to contribute back to the community. So, if you want some mentor time with someone in SIMP, Silver League, or on YouTube (Whatever your motivation is there) send me a private message in world of tanks (FiauraTankGirl on the NA and FiauraTheTankGirl on the EU) or post here and we'll arrange a meet up.
  11. Greetings Labs folks! I am a long time player finally looking to improve my game a bit. I wouldn't say I'm particularly [email protected] but I'm certainly not good either. When I started playing in 2011, I was on a solid course of learning and gradual improvement that suited me and my meticulous methods. I had stayed the course for a little over 2 years, just plodding along and having a great time. After about 12k battles I started to get a bit bored of the grind and decided to join a clan and play some battles on the global map. At first this was great fun! I had joined a middling African landholding clan and participated as much as I could. We had done pretty good for a time but then WG closed off Europe and Africa to NA clans and we could never get a toehold on North America. The callers quit and the clan melted down and fell apart due to apathy and atrophy. This set me adrift in the sea of red and I ended up joining a succession of failing clans, just hoping to get a little of that fun back I had had. It never happened and I have spent the past two years playing with some of the worst players on NA as a result. Examples of some of my platoon mates over the past couple of years... (there are whole clans comprised of these types of players, eek!) I don't blame these players for my poor results, as I am the constant, but they didn't help me either. As hard as I tried, I just could not carry. This has led to my own atrophy of sorts and over the long haul my play has continually suffered. This all brings me to where I am now. I'm at a crossroads in my WOT experience. Good and bad, I still love to play this game but I really don't like losing as much as I do. I've decided to give myself a couple of months more. If I cannot legitimately improve my game, I will be forced to quit playing in self shame and go play Minecraft or an Xbox or something (or minecraft on an Xbox)... This is hopefully where the fine folks of this community come in. I have gleaned a great deal of information lurking about but I would like to take it to another level. Therefore I would like to find a mentor to help me push through these doldrums. I am willing to do what it takes to improve and am willing to provide compensation in the form of in-game items or even cold hard cash if necessary, to achieve this goal. Please understand though, my intention is not to simply get my WN8 up. If that's all I was after i'd just run around spamming APCR from my 59-16 and MT-25 for a thousand rounds. I genuinely wish to learn to play and win at a higher level than I am currently capable of on my own. If anyone is interested in assisting me in attaining this goal, please feel free to respond to this poast or send me a PM here or in game.
  12. Hey everyone! IM mainly just looking for someone to teach me how to Play Tds.... I am excellent at heavies, lights, and mediums. But I avoid playing Tds, which in turn... has set me back in my personal missions. I love to play 5-8... But can play 9 and 10. I just massively need help playing Tds and arty. I have TS and a mic. *note* my recent wn8 on WotLabs is actually 2450+ now, it just hasnt updated here on the forums yet
  13. Hey All, I am looking to work with someone who can help me be a better tanker. I tend to float back and forth between pretty decent games and utter crap games. Some of which I do not feel I played all of that different but with vastly different results. I am would like to understand why I am doing this and what I can do to improve my decision making abilities. I am on a few evenings eastern US time during the week and usually on during the weekend. Primarily US East server. I have and play a variety of tanks, except arty can't stand it anymore, so would welcome any advice for any class. Clan activities also take precedence. Thanks in advance everyone. Yose
  14. I'm serching for a mentor helping me to get to 3k recent. Just send me a message ingame or in this topic. thx
  15. I'm a carrot player on EU, with 4k games in, I still suck, especially on decision making, I would love if somebody decided to help me out, I promise I'll be a good student ^^
  16. Hey there everyone! Im new to the WotLabs forum. I hail from the NA server Im an alright World Of Tanks player but im just not able to push my recent Wn8 over 2200 I admit I make dumb mistakes sometimes, and I dont know how to effectively play some tanks I do really well in lightish tanks such as the T21 and Cromwell, I have 3 MoEs on both of them. But im horribly bad at playing Tds, which is making my personal missions lag behind because I dont have any tier 7+ Tds I really need some help with learning to play Tds, and improving my play in some medium and heavy tanks I have a mic and can use every voice service available Im open to constructive criticism and being told what Id do wrong...in fact, I appreciate it
  17. Requirements: Read this entire postTeamSpeak 3 with working micNo major hardware problems - I cannot fix your 5 fps, packet loss, or 500 pingI can only teach in English!Ownership of tanks above tier 6 encouraged, but not requiredWhy should you (reader) take a WOT lesson? Because if you're going to spend money or time on a video game, the most worthy investment is your own skills. Taking a lesson should accelerate your progression along the learning curve. I am not the best player in wot, but I learned quickly and worked my way to the top mostly teaching myself and I wanna pass this knowledge along to others. Why are you (Smylee) teaching WOT lessons? I love Teaching players it seems to come almost natural to me I love seeing potential and if i can make people with potential go farther and become better players than its worth it. Also I'm in college and don't have a job so this allows me to have some money instead of being broke and asking my parents for money at my age. Want to know more about (Smylee)[optional]? I pride myself competitively on tier 10s and personally focus on winning over damage and kills because winning is always a stat that will remain WN8 will change eventually But your winrate won't. I'm also a very competitive player so much in fact I participate in the WGLNA Season 5: Noble/RBIS Season 6: LAMP I play mainly tier 8-10 now and usually make different goals for different tanks which allows me to test my limits and see how far I can go in different tanks this too me is "fun" I enjoy it a lot and seeing how good I become and what I can learn by playing different tanks is always something I look for. No matter how good you are you can always learn new things. I Currently Have 9 tier 10s Third marked and over 20 tanks total 3rd marked Since the marking system came out I have been using this as a Primary goal for most of my tanks. How much does this cost? All services paid through (PayPal)! (lesson lengths and compensations are, to some degree, negotiable.) 1hr lesson $15 plus pre and post communication2 hr lesson $30 plus pre and post communication1hr Coaching Lesson with 2 Players(Meaning you and a Friend) $22 2hr Coaching Lesson with 2 Players(Meaning you and a Friend) $40Tank Equipment Setup $10 (I set up All your tanks equipment to be as effect as possible)Crew & Tank Equipment Setup $18 (I set up All your Crew Perks & Tank Equipment to be as effect as possible)Free SmyleeRage's USTThat's too expensive, can you just platoon with me? I don't think platooning has the same effectiveness as direct instruction or replay review over voice comms. Sure you can pick up a few things on positions and tactics, and spectate if you are dead...but in a lesson you can pick the tanks, maps, and mechanics you want to learn. Plus we can use replays, streams, and training rooms and tools. There is a value in the depth of instruction that a lesson has, which platooning cannot match. Platooning will of course happen during a lesson, but there will be more direct instruction beforehand. What can you teach me? I can teach you in three major areas: Mechanics has to do with armor and penetration, vision control, fire control, driving, reload timing, arty avoidance, etcTactics breaks into two categories, with deployment, scouting, map reading and closing in one category and how to read and dictate the actions of your opponent in the second category.Meta-game and account planning has to do with tree progression, credit/resource management, crew development, and tank selection.
  18. hello my name is jim and i would like a player with a 55 or 60 % winrate to mentor me so i can get better at wot. my stats: http://www.noobmeter.com/player/eu/jim14398/501075887/;jsessionid=66DAE07F1BA69822BAFD568735292738 i can platoon every day form 13:00 to 21:00. atm i only have an amx cdc and an e25 in the garage and will do the amx 30 line soon. and wotlabs is displaying my stats wrong i have 10000 games played and a 48.93 % winrate.
  19. First off a huge thank you to the mentors that have worked with me in the past. Without you I would still be below 300. I am currently grinding the T-34-85. Overall I am around 400 w8 w/ 10K battles avg damage is around 300ish. Roughly 50% of my hits don't do damage/pen and my survival rate is around 26%. I don't yolo and play solo most of the time. I cannot afford a prem account. Fps is good 40-60 fps but I suffer from lag spikes with an avg ping in the 120s+. Can't follow streams due to only getting 3-5 seconds at a time before buffering for 2-4 min. I have little to no confidence in my abilities. I have stumped my last mentor in that he had no ideas on what and how to help me. There was a lot of concern that nearly all of my battles were in low tiers. Basic suggestions were don't play mad, just push through it. I DO take a while to catch on and feel lost and that the game moves too quickly for me to react at times. Replays available here: http://wotreplays.com/uploader/sca_Baron_Georg/id/374326 Is there anyone out there that can offer some advice on who to look for as a mentor?
  20. Hello everyone! I'm currently looking for an experienced player that excels at scouts/light tanks and is willing to help me improve. I've watched a bunch of videos and streams, which has helped me improve quite a bit, but I'm more of a hands on learner where I can pose questions and receive direct feedback on my actions. I'd prefer to run the Chaffee, T37, Bulldog, or T49. I'm available in the afternoons EST and anytime on the weekends. I'm really excited to start working with someone and improving. Lately my games have either gone really well (partly due to luck I'm sure) or I've died within 2 minutes (and I'm not suic-scouting). Sometimes I last till the end, but don't do any real damage. This has often lead to "worthless scout" and other far worse messages from my teammates. When I contact them afterwards they almost never provide any real feedback as to what I could've done better. I feel like I hurt my team more then help and this drives me crazy. Anyway, it's all part of my drive to get better, so here I am; ready, able, and willing to learn. Thanks, Mike
  21. What am I doing wrong. I'd like to be a better player. I've read all the guides I can find. I've watched streams. But at this point, my learning curve has gone asymptotic. I'm not learning anything other than, "It worked for him, in that match". When I try to replicate it, I lose. I don't know what I'm missing here. At this point I really need mentor if I am to get any better. I don't think I would learn much from platooning because each is in his own tank and doesn't see what the other sees. I'd really like to be able to talk on TS and watch their stream and have them watch my stream and comment/answer questions. I need to know, "why did that tactic not work here?" "why is this a safe risk" "why do I keep missing and keep getting hit?" Would anyone be willing to help?
  22. I am looking for someone to help me reach a green color and also to platoon with. I only have tier 3-5 because i have less then 300 battles any help at all would be appreciated.
  23. I'm a dark green tank player looking to reach light purple (I think I can achieve dark blue myself, already at the far end of light blue). I have a large variety of tanks with varying attributes and I believe I can improve in every tank class, notably my sniper TDs. My tanks/lines I'm grinding Tiger 2 - going to E-100 - priorityRhoomba - going nowhere, waiting to see the (hopefully) better tier XCenturion 1 - going to 4202 - low priority (but love the cent 1)ARL 44 - going to 50 B - priorityM12 - going to M53/55 - who the hell plays the T92?M41 Bulldoge - going nowhere, torn over if I should pursue the T57 grind. So yeah. PM if you're willing to mentor. I'm not going to pay for tutoring, sorry, should've mentioned that at the beginning.
  24. What I am looking to offer is a training experience akin to being in a pub match in WoT though with much more politeness and respect, where you would be watched, coached and peer reviewed on things such as Tactics, map awareness, and reading a team as well as a battle. The overall idea i want to express to you, is that everyone is capable of improving and getting better, and if we do it within a group of like minded peers who are wanting to improve, then we can create an even better community to play in. Just imagine how great it would be to see teammates correctly Echeloning next to you, or pushing right when you go left. I want to help change some peoples minds about the way they play and how they can be an even better asset to their team. I also want you to be able to see a visible increase in your recent WN8 thanks to being more conscious of your game play and roll on the battlefield as well as places to best utilize your tank's strengths and minimize the weaknesses. ultimately i want you to be able to succeed as a tanker! If this sounds like something you are interested in then please continue reading. Here are some some things you need to know: Read the whole post!Do each one of the straw pollsI will contact you to scheduleTeamSpeak3 with working micNo major hardware problems - I cannot fix your 5 fps, packet loss, or 500 pingI can only teach in English! (fine if you have a translator!)Have ready and able to battle with a tier 8 (and 10)Welcome to SmyleeRage's: Unicum School of Tanks. Who Is Smylee and why should YOU care? I am a WGLNA player on team LAMP, a long time WoT player, and recently added coaching to my Repertoire of tank activities. I primarily focus on competitively playing Tiers 8-10, and prioritize winning over damage farming (WN8). I believe that win% and Average XP are much more indicative of what a player is capable of. Why should YOU tanker, take a WOT Group lesson? Because you want to improve! regardless of where you are now, you know you want to be better or you wouldn't even be this far down the post and that is something to be proud of. You want to make more of an impact on your team, or you are hitting a plateau which you're stuck at and trying to figure out what will get you up to the next one, or to reach a personal goal you are setting for yourself. Also bring some patience just in case. it's recommended you bring a tank you also want to improve in! 25. Available mid-afternoon - midnight so may suit late rising Euro who possibly can understand regional British accents better! Probably should have learned some of these basics by now but struggle in tonks that aren't specialist. Specifically would appreciate help with: 1. The art of bouncing and how to play "defensive" tanks. 2. When to attack, being passive on NA server and WoT is generally not good. 3. How to be a more active scout. Turning this scrublord greenie into a blue is likely your toughest job yet.
