So you're saying that in the end of the battle recap, where I see I killed crew members or destroyed modules, those players never fixed/healed them with a kit?

That's what I have been told by few different people. Never really followed it though, so this may require a little research, if no one can confirm?

I don't think this is the case.  Maybe those people are thinking of the HT mission where you have to end the battle with no modules/crew destroyed/dead?

I think there's confusion here, because you can get the "make it through the battle unscathed" missions by using a repair/medkit to fix damage, but I don't think if your target fixes it takes the mission away.

This is exactly right.  If you cause module or crew damage to the enemy it is counted immediately regardless of repair. If your tank is required to have no module or crew damage it is checked only at the end of battle.

Need ht 15.3 to get my t55a.  Don't. Play much heavies,  I have a few though and could rebuy some.  Don't have maus. Is the maus and type 5 the way to go?  Have enough free xp there to unlock any tank line,  could unlock the Japanese heavies.  Only played it up to t6.  Or would the soon to be nerfed maus still be a better choice.  Would have to unlock just 8-10

I just did TD-15.4 in the Strv 103B on Overlord. A kind gentleman from VILIN gave me a boost onto the ledge at A4. I literally sat in one spot the whole damn game and red-line sniped until we lost.

There was no skill involved whatsoever. I just clicked a bunch of helpless tanks that couldn't spot me with a camo net in a bush. It felt dirty and shameful.

got ht15.3 yesterday. dont really play heavies much, sat down and played about 6 games in panzer vii. got it with 7k damage done, 8k blocked and my 2500 also. lol

so, i didnt realise i hadnt completed mt 15.3 with honours, so need to do that now.

bought t20 last night to try it but with new mm its gonna be hard to get 2 higher tier tds to begin with. ter 10 is flush with tds, so im thinking of rebuying a tier 9.

t54?

e50 - no german crews spare, would ened to take crew from e50m temporarily.

sell t20 and buy m46?

Struggle a bit with SPG 15.3. Using the M53/55.  Should I use the bigger (slower) gun or the smaller (faster) gun? - *Nevermind; ofc as soon as I post I get it (using the big gun).

Also with TD 15.3, using the 704. Been very close many times. Is it worth the big spend to grab the 268 and JT to maximize my chances or should I just keep at it with the 704?

I got MT15.3 w/o honors but like many others not sure which tank is best w/the current MM to do it w/honors.

I'd take a TD with a fast firing gun, I did mine in a 263 literally facehugging anything I met, pumping apcr shells in their faces, #nofucksgiven 

Jt should work, also Swedish TDs or a tortoise..

You can also try with alpha guns, jpze/183 but imo it's harder to get because of the abysmally long reload..

 I just did MT-15.4 in a Batchat, but it's hard to get honors when it's 5v1 and you're out of ammo.

This is miserable; I just cannot get 6k damage with the 704 or JT. 268 looks just like the 704 so not sure it's worth the 6M silver just for TD 15.3. And I will quit before grinding up the Grille line (which would require me to start at Tier 3 I think). Shit maps, shit MM, and bad luck with teams ...

I got LT and SPG 15.3 w/honors. It seems now impossible to get MT 15.3 w/honors; w/ current MM not sure what medium can get games with enough one-tier-higher TDs AND be capable of dishing out 3k damage.

And I just suck at HTs. I now have the E75 (which is surprisingly fun), but I am not optimistic about finishing out the personal missions for HT. Was hoping to get MT and TD w/honors.

For the first time, this does not seem like a clever challenge and instead just feels ... stupid.

You want a good 9 with healthy alpha/burst and not  too long a reload like the E50, Patton or Skoda, and you want to be doing it toward the end of an On Track for a TD (assuming your On Track incentivizes your playerbase like ToTT does ours). Disregard 3/5/7 games (you need at least 6k of TDs on the enemy team to have a hope of hogging 3k to yourself), what you want is a 2-tier spread.

Still struggling with mt 15.4, a lot.

This is way more frustrating than trying to do all the 4 sets of spg missions..

Also grand battles don't help.

Can you do missions in grand battles, or do you mean that you are getting too many grand battles? I've gotten a grand battle only once since they came out on NA. :(

You can do missions, but good luck digging out TDs and farming 4k on them in that map.

You have to cross 300m of open field before getting there..

This might sound stupid but, I just started playing again. But I cant find the mission menu for these missions. There are alot of other missions but these seems to be gone. Did they remove them from the missions menu or am I just blind ?

That's funny. It does say "Personal Missions" real big above the crew, but I hadn't noticed it. It's also available to the left of your selected tank name under the battle button as shown.

As always, big thanks to those taking the time to give advice on this thread.  All I have left for the T55a is HT-12.3 and 15.3. As for 12.3, it requires 2k damage + 3x HP blocked. Can I ask for advice on this one, particularly suited for a perma-green? I have not even gotten close in the T-29 or O-I (which I am still trying with). I have gotten close in the T-32 (which I am still trying with), but it does not look like it will happen. For the O-I, it seems like Swiss cheese to anything Tier VII + (and with the 3-5-7 seeking to balance TDs for some reason I see a lot of Tier VII+ TDs), and each match seems to be at least 2 arties. So this likely will not work for me. For the T-29, it seems like everyone avoids shooting at me after the first miss. And for each of the T-29 and T-32. HE and HEAT are  ubiquitous and a problem. I am grinding to the VK 100.01(P) now (Tiger (P) sucks but is playable for grinding purposes, particularly with xp boosters).

I guess my main question is this: is my best bet, as a green player (not capable of QB-style T-29 completion), to grind the VK 100.01(P), or is there another line I should shoot for?

I have the E-100 unlocked and I will try 15.3 in that.

Vkb is still the best, lower plate has been nerfed but you can sidescrape better now with 120mm hull sides and 162mm turret front (it got buffed), + it takes 4 shots to deal 2k damage and blocking 6k isn't really that hard considering you'll meet a lot of tier 7s and 8s.

E100 isn't viable anymore, pubbies discovered the 2 key and now they spam gold at everything (and E100 turret is literally butter vs heat)..

Out of the tanks you mentioned, the only 2 viable are the t29 and t32, I'd go for the t29 for 2 reasons:

-You don't see tier 10s

-Only 122mm guns can pen your turret (overmatching your roof) and literally nobody playing at that tier knows that. (Beware of t30s though, they can pen your mantlet if they get a slight high pen roll with AP)

t32 has a more reliable turret but it sees tier 10s only and while it can bounce, it can't really deal damage (240 pen is a joke vs superheavies), I would avoid playing it for the mission..

 

Regarding HT15: Maus is king of course, but I found that the pz7 can complete that mission without too much effort.. I tried it in the E100 a lot of times and I actually completed HT15.3 in it by yoloing middle on Lakeville, but I was lucky to have shitters on the enemy team who didn't load premium or HE and kept shooting AP at me.

 

Grind the maus line asap, tier 8 and 9 can get you ht12 because they don't really have weakspots and their guns pack a decent punch (440 alpha at t8 and 490 at t9)

 

(Btw I did ht12.3 in a kv5 on kharkov)

You forgot the that all of the American turrets are vulnerable to swedish tier 8 and above TDs, though the 8 and above Americans have funny angles and may require gold. It's actually rather disgusting. The first time I shot a T32 through the mantlet I was kind of surprised :serb:
