I ran with WotLabs peeps this morning!!!

@CraBeatOff and another person I have already confused between @ZXrage and another Wotlabber dropped in morning game together.

It was awesome! We lost! Team was bad, top tier heavy that was AFK, and our other heavies seemed intimidated by aggressive enemy lights.

Still we all pulled our weight, and it was nice knowing you had two other folks that you knew were doing their best to offset pubbiness.

Crab, I have the T49 re-searchable, I am just building up enough XP to put the top gun and gear on it. When I get a crew trained up will run with you guys again hopefully some day.

Top damage in a JPII holding off (with a pubby in a Dicker Max helping) a T-54, MT-25, T54E1, and some STB variant while Crab and X (in T49's) extolled, cajoled, pleaded, and lead by example to get our heavies to freaking fight . . . sigh.

I went in to this thread thinking some tankers went out on a run together.. then I remember we are internet nerds and that couldn't possibly happened before I continued reading :doge:

It was a random drop, and a pleasant surprise on my part. They had tooned, and I was along for the ride. Still, it was a good fight on our part, but even a "soopertoon" can have difficulty carrying pubbies. They seem bent on losing at all costs.

Yes and sorry wrong area, so not a run, but a pubby run.

This is the wrong sub-forum for this topic. Gaming is for everything not WG :-)

My bad, still where should I put it? I thought that the "Epic Pubbie Boasting" wouldn't work because we got hammered.

Can someone move it, or can I? Seems as though I should have put it in Pub and Platoon play, context R hard for me.

I'll challenge any wotlabber to a 50m freestyle! But I kinda suck at running.

Swim 3 days a week around 4 a.m. On Friday Coach had us do 2500 meters, but it was made up of timed interval workouts of stuff like 10X100, 12X75, 12X50, 12X25 etc.

In 2016 swam a total of 180 miles training and racing.

I also bike and run.

However, It would really be cool to start a thread on weekly activity and keep each other honest. Walking, running, working in the yard, whatever. We need to @Never in on this.

My tri days are well behind me. Like Ricky Bobby, I wanna go fast.

I figured @Kolni would be challenging me to a rap freestyle...

That is my IRL hobby, did my 3rd Louisville IM in October this last year, this year is a "shorter" race schedule with two 70.3s and a variety of Sprints and Oly's.

Not fast anymore Crab, but I keep doing them. I figure through attrition I will start Age Grouper podium walking more, at 53 many of my peers are starting to get sidelined, but my knee's, shoulders etc. are still going strong, no issues. But man, I have been fighting AT problems for years.

Master's has been awesome for me. Luckily people age out of sprints before endurance, so at 34 I'm sitting pretty. I made master's world's this year! (Lololololol old people sports)

I've replaced the vast majority of the time I used to spend playing WoT with running and hitting the gym.  Been running 5Ks for fun.

It's nice to be able to climb a flight of stairs and not be panting when I get to the top.

Yeah, it sucks getting old, :serb: Oh and grats on the Masters! Keep it up, and you could get AWA (All World Athlete), it is point based, sounds like you are consistent so that will get you an AWA in no time.

Like you I have been able to keep it up (that sounded weird but I am leaving it), and I am enjoying immensely. It is still stupidly competitive though in the 50-54 AG (long course), I keep thinking when I age out to the next AG, I can back off a little . . . not. Trained harder this last year for Lou IM than I did the previous two times, first one being 8 years ago.

Anyways, great to meet another WoT Triathlete. Hmmmm, that has the makings of a clan. Just call it "140.6" or "SBR", or "4 a.m. lol"
