Good hp/t and great side armor but high alpha super low dpm gun? So another tank that's hard to kill but shit to play.

I am glad I was wrong and its more like Pz7 than Type5. Stats are probably going to be tweaked so I wouldnt worry about that just yet.

Those stats are clearly going to get buffed. They might do for any other nation, but in Soviet Belarussia USSR Stalinium tanks should be built to dominate all other nations!

Ffs, how many soviet projects are there. I'm starting to suspect a descendant of Serb will invent a time machine in the future on the moonbase (which will have by then become Serbopolis), and will use it to go back in the 1940s and 50s, where he has been instigating a whole lot tank projects, so that 60 years after Serb can become filthy rich out of it and build a moonbase…

Strapped onto a Maus which activates when it hits 20 km/h.

Was on the verge of buying back the KV-13 myself. So many crews to reshuffle between this and the new T-44 line. (Naturally WG starts these new lines *after* I've cleaned all the old tanks out of my garage...)

You can still move the girl crew in the IS. No a really big lose.

That is one cool looking tank.

Is that 30 or 40mm overmatch turret that I am seeing?

Also LFP at 140 or 150m thickness, so probably similarly effectiveness to IS7 or WZ-111-5A?

I know, but still its a bit annoying. At least the IS has a better gun in comparison to the peashooter of the KV-13

It's strange but I actually like the KV13

So, 110E4, FV215-183, Object 268, E100, Type 5 etc all have 150mm+ guns and all have 2 loaders, but this looks like only one loader.  17.6 seconds suddenly looks pretty damned fast.  Those tanks also all have big HEAT magnets at or above the gun level unlike this enormous Object 416 that will get hull down behind a wrecked T100 LT.

WG, why must you continue to make Tier X tanks with horrid accuracy? This thing looks like its going to be a unfun on either end of the gun.

TBH the 705A seems pretty fun to drive to me. Decent speed for a proper heavy and a tiny chassis should mitigate the accuracy problems somewhat. We also do not know the bloom values. If this thing is anything like the IS-7, it should be a laser in the <200 m snapshotting game.

OTOH the tier 9 has the long 122 mil from the Obj 257 and the IS-7's 130 mil to choose from. With 340 HEAT pen on the 122 mil, it might, all things considered, make a better tank.

It might seem like so from leaked screenshots, but I don't think that thing can be very small, when it weights 100 tons. It's AT LEAST as big as an IS-7, likely longer than it considering the extra roadwheel, and the IS-7 is not a super small tank either.

Being a small tank has it's disadvantages too. FFS the number of times I couldnt' shoot at something in my 416 because there was a tiny bump on the ground is astounding.

From blueprints, the tank is supposed to be about as squat as an IS-3, shorter than the T-10, and only slightly wider than either tank. No idea why it weighs 100 tonnes, but there you have it.

Patch preview is up on the main news page -

https://worldoftanks.eu/en/news/general-news/922-ussr-tree-revision/

Armour viewer is there, turret is IS7 like no real weakspots or overmatch areas.

LFP is around 245-250 effective, UFP is 330 effective straight on, turret at weakest points 350 effective.

If you are sidescraping the shoulders are still like 350 effective so it could angle quite easily to boost LFP effectiveness.

New TD is 330 - 350 effective upper plate to casemate, 350 mid plate, 250 cupola and very smal 230 effective LFP.

430U is 315 effective UFP, 185 effective LFP, 300 effective at worst on turret front, no overmatch point and the cupolas are not weakspots, they are 257mm thick and angled so over 300 effective in most places. Side armour is 90mm with upper part having some space armour as well.

Important bit is that if you have IS7 researched, then exp on T10 will remain on T10. If you dont have IS7 researched, then exp on T10 will go to Obj257.
