T30/T110E4 Crew skills

I've carried my crew skills from the T25/2 to the T30 and their first skill is trained on Camo, and second one is training Gunnery. Is camo worth it for the T30/E4? with a whole ~8% camo value I'm thinking of retraining them to repairs either on the next retraining sale or when I buy the E4. Thoughts?

Neither the t30 nor e4 are particularly stealthy, BIA/6th sense would be better imo.

i'm grinding that tree atm, and i tested the gun handling on the t30 numerous times in test, and it is a bit wonky so you really want bia on it with vents, also it is a bit more of a brawler so repairs are nice.

not to mention both t30 and E4 have long reload times so vents+rammer+bia is nice to have.

but thanks to the turret the exposure time is way less than in normal TD's

Not worth starting a new thread....

Rammer, GLD and Vents are the best for the T110e4 or should I drop something for Optics?

Seeing as you can't get the VStab I'd say yes. Camo net is lolno, I suppose maybe vents for optics but I feel this is more of an assault TD than a sit back and snipe TD. Though I'm far from purple with these.

Was actually looking for an answer to this myself...

Rammer, and GLD seem to be mandatory given the slow reload and bad aim time, but I'm torn over vents v optics.

(While i'm only at the T28P, it never hurts to plan ahead)

Binoculars is also option on turreted tds like e4,t30,hellcat, t49 since  it doesnt get reset when you turn turret.

I'd say not so much on the E4, the E4 functions more as a combat TD, more front line.

I'm going for Rammer/GLD/Vents. T30 only has 380 view range base, the E4 has 400 which is acceptable for a city brawler. The vents bonus on reload/accuracy/movement is more of an advantage to this tank than binocs or optics imo.

I would use vents on e4 (i use rammer, egld, vents on mine), but i wanted to say if you want to run vision boosting equipment i would use binocs on turreted  td instead of optics.

Lt.,

You just turned a light bulb on for me...

I didn't think about the difference of having bino's and optics on the right platform (turret/non-turret). I'll have to look at some of my TD setups, and get it straight.

I trained my T30 crew on repairs first. Then I'll move on to position specifc skills. I'm running an enhanced gun laying drive, a large caliber rammer, and improved ventilation. It seems to be working fairly well, I'm at or above my 51% average in the T30. I've really started liking it again, not as much as I did as a heavy tank, but I started running it in the last two weeks and mostly enjoying it.
