Being a flawed system as it is, and the existence of the WN rating which is superior in every way, the Efficiency rating is now being removed from the signature images.     I almost would have rathered that they ahd set up the campaigns to reward "Victory coins" to members of ranking clans. Each amount that the member received would be based on how they were ranked , with the top ranked clans receiving more per member than the bottom ranked clans (there of course would be clans that do not get ranked as an incentive to play at the top of thier game, but most would). Then at the end of the season a "store" would open up and allow you to spend the Victory coins on whatever it is that you want, between an offering the 3 Tier x's, premium time, free exp, etc... With

Before I start, I realize what I’m doing could get me neg repped into oblivion, but I feel that this is the best place for an actual discussion of this topic…not a trollfest as was evidenced on the Wot forums, as I am actually curious to see where people stand on this and why. I’ll start with my own view of the M60. I honestly believe it was a mistake for WG to make the M60 a clan wars reward, if I’m being honest it’s most likely because I can’t do clan wars atm, and would love to add this tank to my collection. It feels a lot smaller and less more comfortable than the forums, and I also see a lot of the faces (actually, all of them) responsible for writing the guides I spent those 3k games reading. It would be awesome to see some sort of reward be given for Technical Engineer (everything in a tree researched) however I also think it's nice to have a CW-only prize. As awesome as free gold is, there needs to be a bit of a variety in what is given out as well. There are other tanks similar to the M60 (tier 10 'premium') that will be given out as well, they haven't announced how yet.   17. I do see where you're coming from but I have to disagree. The M60 reward concept was designed to act as an incentive for better play. It was announced WELL in advance and people had plenty of time to get their head down and think "Right. I need to improve my gameplay so I can join a good clan and hope to earn a M60. In order to improve, I'll need to work on this, this, etc.". Instead, the majority of what we got were responses from self-entitled children who were whining at the fact that they were missing out when they couldn't be bothered getting off their ass and making an effort.   18. Right after Clan Wars yesterday, the BURDYs decided to have a little fun on training rooms and organized a Pod Racing competition. On this race, tanks run laps around the field while Artillery tries to shoot them down. On the first round, Arty may only fire 10 seconds after the first lap begins and if they run out of ammo, they become mobile road blocks!   20. A good example of psychology working in WoT would be the KV-2 with it's 152 mm gun. Hardly anyone will volunteer to go around the corner first if they know you are ready & armed as nobody likes to get hit by it. Another effect is, if you place a good hit on an enemy, chances are he'll back out and remain in cover long enough for you to reload. Less effective against skilled players, but very effective in public games. This would reflect the difference between hardened veteran troops (the skilled players) and the militia (your average random game player)

    Neverwish is actually re-doing the table to raise the standard of blue/purple. What he's doing for the bottom half i'm not sure, but personally I'd rather the 'average' level stay the same. It's generally regarded that once you drop below 48% you're actually hurting your team, and causing losses. I wouldn't want someone to come look at their stats in ~6months and say oh, I'm 47%? that's ok because that's average. We want people to strive to at least be a neutral party in games.

    WG NA moderator departement is quivering at the tought of the release, they asked for a delay so they can polish their banhammers, dust off their flameproof armor and stockpile on postlocks. Check the EU/RU forums for the mass of threads it generated (TD is OP!, Arty is OP! Arty is Nerfed! HT are OP! MT are OP! LT are nerfed! Accuracy boost sucks! Accuracy boost rocks! multiply this by 10) EU forum atm is a bit of a mess to wade trough with all the patchtopics springing up.

    Arty's standard deviation should be much lower as skill isn't as big of a factor, so here's what should happen. - Arty players slighly below average heavily penalized (it's harder to fuck the game up for your team in an arty. - Arty players above average get penalized lightly (it's harder to carry in arty) I say see what happens first.

  31. As people said, this is the place in the german TD line where you lose your camo value. Contrary to what Reiuji said, I would still provide long-distance support fire whenever you can. Your armor is very limited, as is your HP. You just gotta go for double bushing or literally fire from 400m+. Tho, there are those maps where you're forced to fight semi-close range (siegfried line comes to mind - i never go field). Gotta just make use of your speed and find distracted targets to shoot at when ur in these situations...

  32. I love dis tank, I manage a 60% win rate solo-pubbing in it. Good balance of mobility, accuracy, and alpha/dpm. Gun arc and depression are workable. Use the 10.5 with vents, rammer, GLD (I might swap the GLD for camo net if the 8.6 buff to nets is worth it).   34. 1) Shut up, wenkel. 2) Get more crew. One crew for everything? Are you retarded? Get some tanks that you like and that aren't stock (hell, t34 works fine for this) and work up some more crews. Worst case scenario, you can do what I did recently with my e100: I retrained my e75 crew to e100 then shoved the crew back in e75 as my crew trainer. It'll shave their skill down to like 80something but it'll be OKAY considering it's a solid tank like e75. That way I could do doubles on e75 and e100 to get them back up to 100% after the retraining hit. Besides, if you actually are thinking about

  38. Hmm well, seems your problem is that you're kinda playing it like a JPIV which really isn't that much applicable to the JP. You're a bit too far from the front (understandable in Widepark since it is a pretty open map and not good for the JP) though on Abbey, you could have advanced with the friendly T-150 finally showed up. Otherwise, that's all I can see from those two replays.

  40. Don't play it like you how played the JPIV, the JP is where the 'I'm almost an assault gun feeling so I should be near the front' starts for the German line. You don't want to be sitting too far back in a JP. There's a reason why the 10,5cm on it has 1.5 (I think? Unless it was changed) second aim time. Make use of that JP Gun Depression, might not be as good as a US tank but better than most other TDs@tier compared to other than its US and French counterparts. Otherwise, replays?

  44. The thing is, saying arty makes the game impossible to play or makes the game worse is your opinion.. One I don't share. I personally have no issues with arty, even when it kills me.. And you can't really say 'everybody hates arty.. Because if you go back and look through all the arty/anti-arty threads, you see the same handful of people, posting over and over. This group of people doesn't even have the numbers to be considered a majority on the forums.. much less out the entire playerbase. It's what's known as a 'vocal minority'.. Hate to tell you, but in the long run.. due to the nature of randomness and how the matchmaker works, ALL tanks will see their counterparts on the opposite team pretty damn consistently.. Mismatches do happen, but they happen at the same frequency for both teams, so it evens out. Your argument falls apart because you fail to realize what you said applies to ALL tanks in game, not just SPG's, yet brokenly OP tanks manage higher winrates than the mean. Not sure why you even list #3.. even if arty could only do 1hp damage to tanks every 3 minutes, Garbad would still bitch about them and demand they be removed from the game due to some noob killing him with arty when he was down to his last hp in some tank. . My personal experience with my tier 10 arty on the test server so far is that their effectiveness has been roughly halved due to all the layers of nerfs.

  48. I've watched the replay, but I just want to talk about generals instead of specifics here. In general, you want to run away from the bridge you're closest to when you spawn in Erlenberg and leave a few pubs to overwatch your side of that bridge, and rush for the hills watching the bridge farthest from your spawn. What typically happens is enemies will hold back their advance on the bridge farthest from their spawn, but they'll attack from the bridge closest to their spawn, which you're watching from the hills with your allies, it's very easy at this point to simply decimate anyone cros
