  2. This tank is not good. It is however funny. Its the size of a tier 1, with the firepower of the pre 9.18 SP1C, and the hitpoints of a tier 7 tank. But, it has god tier camo, which means a little something, and you can at least do funny things with terrain. 8. If you're shooting HE out of a BB that can overmatch things, you need to take a step back and learn mechanics. Also, stop whining about higher citadels. I'm happy they're finally back. I get away with far too much stupid shit in my US battleships, being punished for mistakes is good. I hate having these beautiful broadsides, but not being able to show people why that's a bad thing.

  9. Because free market assumes no monopolies and unlimited access to said market. ISPs buck that trend (a small number of companies control all access), hence the govt regulation on ensuring access, aka net neutrality. Hopefully the statements above explain it. P.S. I hated the name of the rule (it's not descriptive of the issue). A better name would be "price of net access".

  10. You think it is good not to have a system in place that punishes companies who violate the principles of net neutrality? Net neutrality is the very basis of a free market for the internet and with it gone the ISPs would abuse their monopolies and screw over both their customers and their direct competitors as history has shown.

    The Bond Farm

It should be no secret that I want to fully outfit my T49 with improved equipment. This means obtaining 14,000 bonds, and with limited ranked battle participation that means a TON of pub battles. The patch that added bonds for medals was a nice bonus (WG really should do a 1 time retroactive medals payout, it'd be like maybe 1-2 pieces for most people...but that is another conversation). @dualmaster333 did some math a while back to check and see if anything except 10s are viable for bonds earning, and sadly the answer is no, not if your goal is to obtain 14,000 of them. Armorchanges in a nutshell: 257 got its side armor nerfed, upper side armor nerfed from 140 to 130mm (211->195 EFA) and the lower side armor (the V-shape) got nerfed to 40mm so as long as you are Russian or a TD you will be able to overmatch it, for everyone else it is still cancer. 268 Version 4 got its frontal armor slightly buffed, lower plate goes from 290 nominal to 300 nominal and superstructure goes from 250 nominal to 260 nominal (EFA goes from ~335 to 345-350 EFA for both LFP and suerstructure agains HEAT), so have fun rolling your dices when firing your HEAT-round

  14. Paying different amounts for different speeds/data caps is not a violation of net neutrality as once you've gotten your internet access, anything you do with it is treated the same. It doesn't matter if you're rocking a 14.4 kbps modem, or 1 gbps fiber connection, when you go onto a web page, your traffic is treated the same by everything and everyone else. Without Net Neutrality, companies could restrict (either banning or slowing) traffic to sites they didn't want to carry information for, and free up or expedite those they want to promote. E.g. Comcast makes a video hosting site, and h

  16. Some sort WZ-120/T-54 hybrid. It'll be cheaper to run than a T-54, cos 238 standard AP pen and prem rounds are 4400 credits for 390 alpha, not 4800 credits for 320 (though of course 330 pen is better than 270). But it's slower, and if you chose the more accurate gun on the T-54, gun handling is worse. Armour is probably the same. 2.4s aim time and 0.4 accuracy IMO make the tank seem a little pointless, if it had 440 alpha maybe but 390 alpha you might as well take an E50 with better handling and not crap accuracy

  19. @Rexxie Not playable just broken, no different from 183s, they are crap RNG wagons but still stupid for the game. I don't want it in the game because of that, not to mention it would be a crap tier 10 reward for new PMs because as you say it's an awkward min maxed tank. Hopefully the new tier 10 reward is - 1. Not the Waffle or some other min/max tank 2. Not something Russian or a Chinese knock off, too many of those tanks at tier 9/10 3. Not the Chieftain. T95/Chieftain would be an interesting option.

  20. I agree, that was more in a response to the "gaurunteed 3k damage" comment. Even with the waffen's ridiculous gun, pubbies were looking at something like 2 pens per clip. A free 3k might have been the case when the waffen was released, but by the time it was removed from the game the tank was dogshit at dealing damage even though that was the only thing it could feasibly hope to do. I wouldn't even want to see how pathetic it would be these days. It should never see the light of day because the tank does nothing but make the game worse, but I dont want anyone getting the idea it would act

    Comet fan club

Right here. And since 2 Comets vs one heavy and one TD literally lose on every single map... it is still weighted the same, man. It is now even more shit. pew-pew+ no turret armor+ death of vision, but also flattening of maps, and some maps with big hills are deleted...(Northwest/South coast had some crazy spots where you could literally shoot ppls turret roofs from a higher corridor).

    Elimination: Removed Maps

New Day, New Votes: Dragon Ridge - 35 Hidden Village - 22 -3 = 19 I don't understand the Severgorsk hate compared to this. Both corridor maps, but Sev was way better, especially before they reworked it. Komarin 0 (First eliminated map.) Northwest - 29 Bumped for zbran. Pearl River - 42 Port - 33 Province - 27 Severgorsk - 9 South Coast - 26 +1 = 27 Still liked Pearl River more, but it's in no danger, so I'll vote here. Updating to include zbran's votes. His downvote for Komarin is redundant, it's dead. Northwest upvoted.

  27. Not that big of a deal? It's basically a 252u defender with a slightly better gun. Which isn't a good thing. The 252u is fine in tier 8's (to play, playing against is retarded,) but against higher tiers it starts to fail alot as average players rely on its Armour too much which results in over extensions very quickly. I think I'd still rather play a t10 just for the speed and better turret Armour. But that could just be my playstyle. I never played the maus post buff and never had any issues dealing with one. Armour has never really been a big selling point for me after I got the

    Is Boosting Bannable?

No. Different logic. Maps were designed with the intention that those areas were not accessable. Players have found a way to make some of those areas accessable, meaning that some of those areas now have EXTREMELY good overwatch positions to fire from which have the ability to COMPLETELY destroy map balance, favouring one spawn over the other in a massive way. Most foliage and camo on most maps is fairly strategically placed so that they dont overly bias one spawn, but these boosts are extremely biasing. Some of them can make it virtually impossible for the other team to win.

    Is Boosting Bannable?

It's not the same because WG actually designed the camo mechanics. They are made to be used the way good players use them. WG did not design boosts. The mapmakers probably gave 0 thought to most of the boostable areas by assuming no one would get to them anyway, so you've got everything from gamebreaking boosts to completely useless suicide outposts because they've not been balanced for actual use whatsoever. Winning via boost is not cheating, but it certainly is cheesing. Removing them is a bit harsh, but WG definitely has to do something about them. I'd like it if they just accepted tha

  32. Original article by @Garbad Kewei, NA's favorite damage whore, recently wrote a guide about how to improve. In a nutshell, solopub in tier 10 and sink until you start swimming. This has generated a lot of discussion, both in favor and against. Accordingly, I am writing this guide to help those people who have already tried the sink or swim method, who have already read the wikis, watched the replays, and so on. In short, my goal is to give greens a roadmap to being bluer, or maybe even purple. GREEN IS THE COLOR OF ENVY For example, I take it as a given that the average

Original article by @A_Chodeful The Method One of the things that I'm often asked by purples and blues is how to become better, and I could never find a decent response to that question, and always left it to others to give canned advice and tips - this is because these players from my first-hand experience, already knew the basics of the game, they knew how to abuse vision range, camouflage, game mechanisms, and the vast majority of good map spots. In short, they just knew how to play their tanks, very well in fact. So why did it seem that they were stuck in a rut? Because

There's a large chance the enemy is still there. REDUCING RETICLE BLOOM "Bloom" is when the reticle gets larger through movement, but it gets larger in two ways: turret movement and track movement. Try to keep your turret stationary when moving your tr
