"In its current state, the pref mm tanks often fails to ensure proper rotation between the top/middle/bottom of the list. Getting matched at the same position for several battles in a row slows down progression and degrades the overall experience for absolutely all vehicles. Unfortunately, simply tweaking the algorithm has proven to be impossible. We artificially lowered the probability of getting preferential Premiums in +1 Tier and same-tier battles. However, this created more problems by increasing the number of single-tier battles and waiting times for not only Tier VIII and IX but tanks tiered VI-X and we're too stupid to know how to fix it. So we looked into redesigning the underlying matchmaker rules to improve 3/5/7, 10/5, and 15 template distribution. This was to to prevent cases of spending 80% of in-game time in 3/5/7 battles at the bottom of the list. Now you spend every game bottom tier unless you're a BR. As you can understand, to find the optimal solution is simply... impossible! We simply can't and won't try anymore. We have already laid down a plan and work on the matchmaker has failed. We will give more information on how you can go fuck yourselves at a later date." Already wrote the article for them 6 months from now.

If WG actually listened to its playerbase, they would have removed template MM within 9-12 months max of introduction after realising that nothing they were going to do was going to fix it. If WG actually listened to its playerbase, they would have found that general player consensus about OP and broken tanks are correct 90% of the time and that they don't need to wait 12 months to nerf a tank they introduced OP. If WG actually listened to its playerbase, the playerbase would not have dropped as steeply as it has over the past 12 months.

most of the buffs are shit really. Basically if you dont have 200+ base pen as a tier 8 heavy facing other T8's you a screwed (looking mainly at the defender etc) Not even going into the T9s Placating the masses is bascially what ive gleaned from the article. Other then that, 6 months for the MM fix is basically a death sentence to T8s/player retention. Can't see myself sticking around or wanting to wait that long for a fix to the 3/5/7(bet they will change it to 3/6/6 or some bullshit)

Previously, I had upgraded my original Devil's Canyon (4690k) gaming rig (https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/jCgvGf) to a Kaby-Lake water-cooled setup (https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/XQqWgL). Whilst I enjoyed the sheer prowess of my new setup, there was one major flaw with the build: the GPU. Now, you might say "But Fulcrous! You have a GTX 1070! How could it be the major flaw of your build?" The answer is simple: the thermal performance of the GPU was poor. It would frequently hit 83 degrees Celsius despite the fans being manually set to 100% speeds. Whilst this wasn't a problem for titles such as World of Tanks, more graphically intense games like FO4/PUBG/BF1 all took major hits due to the thermals whenever I attempted to stream. Even a mere Heaven Benchmark would result in the GPU reaching 80 degrees Celsisus +. So... after months of deliberation and procrastination, I finally decided to re-paste MSI's GTX 1070 Gaming X model. Opening up the 1070 quickly revealed the problem: dried thermal compound. Note: I had already removed the thermal compound off of the heatsink before I took the picture. To make matters worse, the paste-job was far from sufficient, hardly covering any of the GPU. Roughly a 1/3 of the GPU was in contact with the thermal compound. Fortunately, the re-paste process was simple. I used Noctua NT H1 as my thermal compound of choice and used the pea method for application. The results? Well worth my time. Running Heaven resulted in a peak of 63 degrees Celsius. A 20 degree Celsius drop from before. I am very satisfied with the re-paste results; however I will have to see if the thermal performance is as great during longer sessions of testing/gaming. Edit: Long-term gaming peaks at 67 C.

I give up... (after 8 years)

Yeah, sticking your barrel in hes barrel means bb arty (and no punishment). Still, we need more hero`s like the E100 in this team He didnt say anything, he just turned around and killed the CGC, when other arty complained he said something along the lines of: get cancer arty, and also killed the other (he also wasnt banned, hurr durr) Due to arty, the maps are shit and shit maps + arty lead to TD hordes, this coupled with gold ammo makes heavys pointless unless they get buffed, making mediums crap (they now get shit on by arty, tds, bad maps and OP heavys) and its not heavys thats the problem, not is gold ammo helping meds, its arty fucking it, arty and nothing but arty. Arty not only always fucked my games and ruined my glorious wins, arty ruined the entire game. For every fucking dog that plays arty for fun, there is 1 player that left the game due to said arty, outright removing arty and giving only compensation in credits and free crews would have costed far less players as the constand arty shit does. im 100% certain that arty is the most common reason people quit wot, its not OP / UP tanks, russian bias, bad balance, ``low tiers beiing to weak against high tiers``, or all the other tanks people complain about, if people could pick 1 single option it would be fucking arty, every single person i know irl that played wot and quit wot quit due to arty, every single person in the clan that quit, quit partly due to arty, sure they might also dislike other things, but arty is always one of the main reasons what makes wot so rage inducing once in a while. to all arty players: FUCK YOU VERY MUCH
