    Question for Mort to ask:
It is true that games with larger competitive scenes tend to be more popular (Dota 2, LoL, CS:GO). Furthermore, new games like Smite are investing large sums of money in their esports scene. What are WG's thoughts on WoT's relationship with esports, and what plans do WG have for expanding the WoT esports scene and the competitive mentality within the community?

Don't poke when greater than 50% chance someone is aiming that corner. If it is an important shot, then make a pubbie metashield if for you. General Takeaway - Preserve yourself at all costs. 1 for 1 trade on enemy in beginning is the WORST OUTCOME POSSIBLE. YOUR HP IS WORTH 5 TIMES THEIRS. If you're wondering why you did 5k dmg early game and die watching your teammates fail, it's because you sucked at preserving HP.
Get into good positions, but not ones that will keep you lit for the entirety of the game. ---> general takeaway is to divert attention from yourself
Flow like water. If enemy contracts, expand to get better angles. If they expand, contract to concentrate guns on one point. General Takeaway: Shoot and scoot, keep your allies close to you if enemy is pushing. Find better angles when you have the momentum.
Smart aggression. People say this over and over but they don't really understand it. Here's this idea in stat whore terms. If you don't have shots for more than 30s relocate. Pubbies will generally follow you when you make a push. If not, ping and Z key them to come over. After this happens, get behind them and start using them as distraction/meatshield. That's how you push without taking damage.
Finally, flow. The BEST way to play this game is to get into flow. Flow is this weird mode where you play like a god without even thinking about the game. This usually results in 5k+ DPG sessions over 20 games for me. The way that I found easiest to get into this mode is to have a routine. Always play at the same time when try harding. For me, this is Saturday morning. Do some stretching, get comfortable so that you don't have to think about anything else. DON'T force it. It comes naturally.
ONE last thing. PLAY ONE TANK ONLY. It has to be good too. M103 is not going to give you 4k dpg.
After that it's knowing when to quit. I'm out after 3 consecutive 0 dmg games. If I think the reason I died was beyond my own fault then I will attribute it to bad luck and press forward.

My Bat chat doesn't feel as light now. It feels like mobility of mediums in, terms of turning speed, has decreased while the mobility of lights has been buffed. Heavies feel more or less the same.

Overall, this patch brings a new dimension to the driving mechanics. The introduction of the handbrake allows one to make adjustments quickly. I can use my handbrake to poke out of a corner, and rather than tradition turning, it'll actually move my tank. Handbrake is okay but doing a complete 180 seems only possible on light tanks. For mediums it's more like a 90 degree turn.
It feels good to not be completely stopped when one track goes up a ridge. To me, the vehicles feel more sluggish however. Turning feels laggy and acceleration feels worse.

E5 DPG Grinding PLS HALP THE M103 IS SO BAD
    IS-7 Stat Repair

If I could teach pubbies only one thing I would teach them to know when to cap, and conversely when to return to defend the base. I cannot count how many times when my team lost because of a fast cap. I also cannot count the number of times when pubbies have denied me a good game by sitting their 0 damage full Hp tanks on the cap like they trying to farm effi. The good players literally carried your 0 damage asses. The least you can do is let them have a better game.
And when I ping the map furiously, trying to get these idiots to come back, they don't ignore me; they say "stop spamming, I'm putting you on my blacklist", and continue rolling towards the enemy base while I suicide in to defend my base. Someone who idiots listen to (Jingles, QB, etc..) needs to make a capping guide.
Can we just remove caps from the random battles mode? The concept is obviously too advanced for most people...
If anyone can think of something that pubbies should learn that's more important than my point, please say it.

People think that you have to travel halfway around the world to find something new, but they don't(Not to discredit those who do. I myself did just that). You can find a community anywhere you look, filled to the brim with interesting people. Many may call playing internet tanks a waste of time, but they don't know what you've experienced. I love the fact that you used this WoT to expose yourself to new perspectives and people and grew from it. From the entrepreneurial Silicon Valley, good luck in your endeavor!
