  2. Hello tankers! Tomorrow we are kicking off our 36 hour #TankingfortheTroops event at 12 o'clock noon PST with our beloved MeatheadMilitia from Wargaming. We will be featuring some of your favorites from WGLNA like OverlordPrime and the team SIMPletankers. Our focus for this month's stream is the Teams, bridging the gap between Active duty, Vet, and Civilian. One of the most difficult part about being a veteran is the ravine between the base in their head and the community that surrounds them. The Chapters of the Teams gives vets the social networking and community events they need to begin to fall into daily life with the civilian population. Donations help keep these events running for our Teams social events, but more importantly swing on by to have fun, a chance at winning gold or a tanks and to learn a bit more about Operation Supply Drop. I'll see you out on the battle field! <O We also have an AWESOME HOODIE/SHIRT YOU CAN BUY! And all the proceeds go to Operation Supply drop
  3. Yes you need a twitch account. You must be active in the chat. I get to decide how the prizes are given out. I will be doing a few random raffles as well as a few contests. I am only streaming 3 hours. The whole event however is 36 hours total, we have many streamers. The charty isn't restrictions play time, we just have many streamers and everyone is playing from1-4 hours.
  4. My twitch is http://www.twitch.tv/tragicloss , but I will be hosted on the main channel for OSD on http://www.twitch.tv/tankingforthetroops
  5. Hey fellow LABers! I'd like to take a moment to reintroduce myself and let you know a little bit about my streams for Operation Supply Drop this weekend. I'm Tragicloss, I've been part of the WoT community for a couple of years now and I often work/play closely along side our beloved Wargaming overlords. As many of you know, Operation Supply drop is a charity in which WG raises money for to support our Veterans and deployed troops. I've been offered a chance to stream for you tankers and give you some nice prizes for being active in chat. Wargaming has given us streamers 4x 500 gold codes and 1x tank code for any tank under tier VI for every hour we stream to give away to our viewers. I've also decided to give our Xbox 360/1 players an option to win as well. I'll be giving away two tier VIII tanks. The two tanks in question are the Freedom tank (T26E4 Super Pershing) and the Liberté (FCM 50 t). These will be given out during BOTH OF MY STREAMS. I will be streaming at the following times: Friday, August 7th at 4pm-5pm PST (following the Xbox stream) and Saturday, August 8th 4am-6am PST. For more information about OSD refer to the following link: http://ftg.operationsupplydrop.org/2015/08/05/operation-supply-drop-world-of-tanks-community-event/ If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask me here in the thread.
  6. They focus fire because they want to be the one that killed you . They tend to be happier when they are the ones who shot you down. Especially while you stream.
  7. It's pretty interesting to say the least. I stream for fun with Major_rampage and occasionally with our very own Solono. You definitely get performance anxiety while playing because you have people watching you who are expecting you to wreck shit. I find it really fun to have people watch all the awesome(and lame) things that happen while I play. One thing to get viewers is to first get your name out there as well as getting more popular people(players) into your stream to play with you and to have them blast your name out on social media to gain a following. Commentary doesn't always have to be useful, just interesting or witty. Take it from me, neither me, rampage, nor Solono talk about how are strategy is, but we still have people who regularly join the stream. People definitely tend to flock to streams if you have better stats, but it isn't a necessity although it does help. Things to remember: Having a schedule helps, people like consistency Blast yourself on social media, tag world of tanks on things like twitter Invite more popular players to possibly get them on there with their followers Stats help(you got that down) Commentary doesn't have to be about the game, just interesting Having a co-host help with keeping up chit chat is also good.
  8. To work on becoming a blueberry... I need to surround myself with ripened fruit.

  9. Yeah. I've mainly become a green player because I do exceptionally well in my IS-3. On a good week I tend to hit blue WN8 during my games, but only in my IS-3. I have no idea how to play other tanks :/ I'm on the NA server. I know blue comes with experience, but even then I feel like i've hit a plateau. I am pretty aware of weakspots and average about 1.2k-2k damage
  10. Not a part of HT anymore, but I decided to add my few cents to this forum post. I was one of the first few to join HT outside of the actual commanders. I was recruited as a potential blue waiting to happen due to some incredible gameplay I had in my interview with BT's Officer at the time, Failzord. He took me under his wing to help me get better and after the fall of BT and his joining of Havok I rarely saw him anymore which lead me to become disinterested in the game and in achieving a tier 10 for HT's eventual rise to glory. I ended up leaving HT not too long ago because for now I've turned my attention to outside priorities as well as playing tanks more as a serious player improving stats and maybe one day rejoining HT with better stats and a tier 10. Since then I've platooned with some pros in an attempt to gain my blue status faster, so far I've broken into green. Blue isn't a dream for me anymore and maybe some day I'll rejoin the ranks of HT.
