  1. https://outerworlds.obsidian.net/ Basically New Vegas in space. Not until next year though.
  2. If they nerf a P2W tank the howls of refund demands will be heard from the moon. Poor planning has painted them into a corner, they can't win no matter what they do.
  3. Eh, I can see the appeal in deleting the account. While the option to play is there, it's always going to be a nagging thing in the back of your mind that maybe it'll be better this time. When the account is gone there's no chance to fall back, so less pressure.
  4. Is the TK reward for Hopey still current? I almost might reinstall and try to track him down if true.
  5. Adding some bots as seed players makes some sense from WG point of view. If somebody joined the AU server and saw there were only 100 players online they'd probably not bother and quit.
  6. Wouldn't it make more sense to bot on the more populated server? Faster time to get into game and a greater spread of players to reduce repeat suspicion.
  7. Aww, nobody's paid him yet https://bitref.com/19vGYNQyE2fqAqZHmhGRyWiQt1oMpUY1x4 I stopped playing WoT ages ago and switched over to War Thunder. While I still get a bit ragey at idiot teammates occasionally, nowhere near the level I did in WoT.
  8. Russia has a huge population and WoT is super popular there. If that market is excluded or they did it by regions the numbers would be much different.
  9. Load balancing on the route might do it. If normal upstream router is very busy, route packet elsewhere.
  10. Tan is a PR man. He'll avoid answering any questions that might make WG look bad directly.
  11. I haven't been keeping up with WoT shenanigans for months, have Wargaming actually changed the main Asia server to be hosted in Hong Kong? Surely that would have consequences with the various Chinese internet laws and Kongzhong's WoT server.
  12. Probably about as good as Singapore. The connection should go to Sydney, Guam, then Hong Kong - similar to Sydney, Perth, Singapore. It's pretty much the same link we end up on when SEA-ME-WE-3 gets sharked.
  13. Doesn't a 36% win rate make him an active detriment to his team? Better off with a passive bot.
  14. The problem with all of those new cables is that they are mostly still theoretical - they keep getting delayed. I'm pretty sure the ASC cable from Perth that was meant to replace SEA-ME-WE-3 was initially due for completion in 2012.
  15. @Politx_Killer You are probably flagged as a known troublemaker. WG is quite willing to break their own guidelines for that.
  16. Clearly it's because it costs 2500 gold, which is your "better stats please" payment to Wargaming
  17. I always wonder why people bother making up bullshit about how great they are IRL on the internet. It's always clearly bullshit, nobody is falling for it.
  18. I figure that if Wargaming did put in some sort of rigged matchmaking it probably wouldn't work. @Ezz Online shopping for pressies rather than working. Still early enough to get anything delivered that's already in Aus.
  19. That sounds like it would have been the server replay system that they appear to have quietly dropped. Simply do what WarThunder does. After the battle there is a link to download the server replay, which includes data/POV from all clients in the match. Handy for working out how the fuck somebody managed to kill you / dodge a shot / etc. Obviously won't show any local client mods, but might give hints if there is weird aiming or map pinging.
  20. Have they censored the word "you" in general chat or is that guy trying to get around some sort of anti-youtube linking?
  21. Not surprised. It all started falling apart from a bit after the start of SEA Clan Wars when the better players started breaking off into sponsored groups. Slow decline since then.
