Lol. No autism. We just want inactive purples to raise our stats. Because stats win CW.

Talk to Noobwargamer_reborn from 11A_D he knows all about how stats supposedly win clan wars ;)

Also no offense but I literally have 80% of your clan on my ignore list for xvm focusing in artillery, pushing me out along with clan mates and teammates, and overall just generally cucking up matches but I don't think I have you on my ignore list so you must be nice :)

So then with that reasoning, 5k is the new norm on EU? :jebaited:

Nah, I'd say that it's about the same.  We've gotten to the point I feel that NA pubbies are just as fucking retarded as the EU ones and there are probably around the same amount per match.  They only play differently per server.

BTW I'm not even memeing it used to be that NA had more skilled players per match than EU due to the smaller server size while maintaining the high competitive drive between players but now all the unicums and super unicums are leaving and going to other games we just don't want to deal with the shit War Gaming has been dealing out to us.

  3. @Rspctd At this stage in the game, yes 4k is the new 3k not because IMO because you are a better player but because the overall population is getting worse at this game.  2 years ago, the amount of super unicums and unicums were way higher than currently.  With that number shrinking and the amount of bad players increasing you're essentially farming either bots or reddit dads.

Not to say that 4k isn't a great achievement, it's just not as great as it used to be.

  4. You could have been in an obvious spot in which either 3 things could have happened.

    1) He had enough view range to burn through your camo and outlight you
    2) A light tank lit you and he was waiting for the light and instantly fired when you got lit
    3) He blind fired at you because fuck it this game is literally 25% RNG at the start + whatever luck you happen to have when you're playing

  5. THE ENTIRE FUCKING TANK IS A WEAKSPOT!!!!!! IT'S A FAT, SLOW, SHIT VERSION OF THE LEOPARD 1 THAT ONLY HAS THE SAVING GRACE OF HIGH DPM AND THE ABILITY TO POKE A RIDGELINE AND SNAP A SHOT BUT OH WAIT THERE'S MORE IF YOU SNAP A SHOT ON A RIDGELINE THERE IS A 50-50 CHANCE THAT SOME RETARD PUBBY WITH RNG OUT THE ASS WILL EITHER PEN YOUR ROOF, PEN YOUR CHEEKS, OR GUESS WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!! PEN YOUR CUPOLA!!!!!!

    FUCK THIS TANK SO MUCH!!!!

  6. At your current skill level, I personally think you should stay at tier 5/6 a bit longer so you feel a bit more comfortable in them.  When you start seeing 1st class and Ace tankers on the regular, then I would up it a notch to tier 7/8 and you'll still be very comfortable there as the skill increase won't be huge.  You'll be moving from 90% comfort to about 60%-70% comfort if I could numerically assign it.

Tank lines.  I HIGHLY recommend heavy tanks for a newer player such as yourself.  They have high HP pools, big guns, and lots of armor and if used correctly, can easily influence the outcome of a game.  Yeah everyone wants to jump in a medium and go zipping around but mediums are not amazing when they come face to face with most heavy tanks in this game.
-So you have the KV1-s and Tiger 1 researched.  PERSONALLY I would go down the KV1s line as that leads to the IS7 which is still a pretty decent tier 10 heavy tank in the game.  Also, the entire line is fun.  The IS is a great tier 7, the IS3 is just legendary, and the T10 is super comfy (probably the best tank at tier 9 in the game ATM).
-The Tiger 1 is nice but the armor is awkward and honestly not that great anymore.  On top of which the Tiger 2 isn't amazing as well, but the E75 and E100 are fucking pub stompers and are essential to have in this game.

    So TL;DR

Stay at tier 5/6 to get more comfortable, when you start seeing more 1st class/Ace tanker games make the jump to 7/8 and you'll be comfortable there too.  Go for the IS7 first, then get the E100.  Play heavy tanks primarily (doesn't mean don't play mediums but don't exclusively play meds).

    Thanks, that helps.

Of course if you stupid clan wars people would use the T10's I have, that would be easier. Have had the batchat unlocked for like a year, probably should actually buy it at some point.

And the 215B gets CW use? That's cool, loved the Conq so same gun with better soft stats should be fun.

Here are the clan wars tanks in use now currently, metas will change depending on what tanks get nerfed/buffed.

    Tier 10: 113, IS7, Maus, 215b, RU meds (140 preferably or 907), batchat will always be a staple, STRV 103B, 263, E3

Tier 8: IS3, OBJ252u/Defender, Patriot/T26E5, Liberte/AMX M4 49, LTTB, LORR 40t (premiums are more viable these days than the regulars)

Tier 6: Type 64, OI, Cromwell

Someone is making the argument that by capping out and ending a game early, the minutes spent "killing all" could instead be spent earning 'fresh' XP in a new game and, in the long run, that earns more XP and credits.  Similar to what Necrophore says below - higher 'XP per hour'.

I think that is bullshit for a number of reasons, but wondering what the data says.

    Ahhhhh that makes sense.

How do you tell what you recent Wn8 in a particular tank is? Most of the Clans I'm thinking of applying to want to see something along the lines of "recent in CW capable tanks"

I'm one of those geniuses who figured he had T10 tanks all figured out, bought a bunch of them, then sold them all because "they sucked" .

Have now bought most of them back and I'm getting better results, but... those first few hundred games kinda screw things over when trying to raise stats.

What those clans mean by "recent in CW capable tanks" is you meeting their stat requirements IN the tanks they use in clan wars.  So as an example if a clan uses the 113/215b/140/Batchat in clan wars or does tier 10 clan wars in general, your average tier better be 10 and no less than 9.7 in your last 1000 battles.  No use finding a padding tank as if the clan is actually competent they will eval you next and see how you play.  If you show that "oh I do play at X level" to the evalers you are in essentially.

Long answer but that's the gist of it.

  10. @Archaic_One gave you a great place to start.

But this game is more than just finding "farming spots".  Read team lineups.  Are they heavier or are they lighter? How fast are they overall, what map did you get, what spawn did you get, how good do you think the enemy team is?  These are the questions you need to ask yourself when starting a game.  For example on Prok north spawn.  You're in a batchat let's say, you know you have a good camo crew and you see on the enemy team that they most likely do not have tanks that will play hill aggressively.  So you can go up the hill, sit in the bushes there and work the bushes by 1)lighting targets and 2)shooting them.  You win hill, push the flank, come up behind middle on the south side of tracks and boom game is won from there unless you royally fuck it up.

Mid game is more about making good trades and plugging up/pushing flanks that need to be pushed in order to win.  End game is mopping up quickly and safely.
