Yoloing and hoping it works out is a great way to get dead in the T-100. Not sure how you got the impression that's the proper engagement! Active spotting is just 1 tool for the T-100 but the accel, profile, armor and 42% camo make the enemy connection very infrequent.
In the T-100 there is no engagement to far away, no flanking maneuver you can't reasonably do. And no situation you cannot drive away from.
The guys above have it right, the RhmPz and Sheridan are the most medium like, but they're also just blah low hp, pen accuracy mediums with some speed and camo. The T-100 is the best LT in the game though and the one every other LT driver fears.

So I've got three female crew to claim. I claimed a fourth to train as T49 loader until she's training 4th skills, then she becomes commander and will quickly catch the others. That 6 skill commander will go to the Sheridan i guess and the T71 gets the Sheridan 5 skills.
T-100LT has a Berlin 0 skills crew as does the 54LW.
Both China light tanks have 5 skill commanders.
All my German lights have 6 skill female commanders.
France has no ladies. So...do i fill out a T49 crew or do i claim a 3 woman Francaise crew?

12 games, 75% wins, 1300xpg and 3900 damage + plenty of spotting did it. I actually was at 94.8 on game 7 and then got a bunch of real shit maps and TONS of arty focus. The arty focus only has 2 levels now - lots or tons. Its nice that they can't do shit for damage though. Final game was an ugly one, but 8k combined popped me up from 94.3 to 95.1. Much relief! I've known for a long time I could do it, but battling that gun....

This tank is kind of a pain in the ass to mark, 2600 combined to not drop, but its pretty fun. I bit the bullet after hovering 91-93 for about 30 battles and loaded 56 APCR (normally run 40 AP 16 APCR)

rare mark too, I only see 2 other people in the NA top 10 by 150+ battles with the mark (and one looks like a CarbonWard special..)

@TheMarine0341 I was also on the edge of buying one and now regret not getting it. My hope is that WG's 'never to be sold again' really means 'never to be sold again until the holidays in a high dollar bundle'

4,450 is what VBA says. I tracked my damage since game 700 and I've been averaging 3850 or thereabouts in raw damage, sans assist.
