So after many years, the first of the 15.3 missions for the Object 260 has been completed... and it's LT15.3 - probably the last one I would have thought I could complete back when I first started out. 2k damage, 7.6k spotting courtesy of the stealth build on Ghost Town encounter mode. Got it with honours too, which is nice. I have TD15.3 unlocked but realised that 8k damage is just insane and I have never done that in a TD before (that I can remember) so that could take some doing. I'm stuck on the 3x HP blocking mission (with 3k damage) for HT, which is usually my best class and in the past the set I usually finish first, and stuck on a 6k damage medium mission (also very high performance for me in a medium tank, only hit that mark in a handful of meds). Could take some doing, but it just shows I think how powerful the stealth build is given it made LT missions feel very attainable with the right map.

Spotgetto 65 3-mark completed. Used a bounty LNES + bond optics + slotted CVS build AND a bounty LNES, bond vstab, bond vents build. Pretty grand way to enjoy the tank. It gets OVER 40% camo on the move once you max out the Field Modifications, plus you get 527 view range. And the gun is slow to aim, but accurate enough to scavenge. On maps where there's too many LTs or it's brawl mode then swap to the vstab build and play as normal (except you're really strong at clean-up because 41% camo moving and 482 VR). Not expensive either, because it's a pain to switch to HEAT. 

LTs are dead. Long live vision. RIP everything not named EBR 105, EBR 75, T49 or Manticore. The Bat 25t, Prog 65, Leo1, Kunze, Char, Bourrasque and Prog 46 have made LTs pointless.

WTE mode is 100% shit with all the STUPID players on the server.

I highly recommend using Field Mods to allow two completely different playstyles on the French lights and mediums. First, sr360s stealth build (CVS/optics/exhaust) is awesome for maps where vision is king (prok, mur, red, etc.) For all other maps, running a gunfighter build (vents/vertstab/improved accuracy) is amazing as it fixes the awful gun handling and allows tanks like the Batchat and 13-105 to do lots of damage, even at distance. For teal players like me, making tanks like the Batchat able to deliver clip damage with dispersion of just 0.32 or better is an eye opener.

Rheinmetall Stealthwagen 3 marked— first tier 10 LT 3 mark with this build. It’s hard to argue that this tank with field mods is a bottom-tier LT. It is probably a better all around light than many although it certainly isn’t as good at pure spotting as the Manti or T-100. With alternate config it does better on closed maps the Manti, and with field mods you can get your camo up to 46% or so.

Finally 3-marked the Bourrasque. Finished with a flourish: swapped to firepower setup for a solid Himmelsdorf game then back to spotting for a near-10k Malinovka game. Auxiliary Loadout + Second bonus slot are killer mods for the Bourrasque

So the HE changes feel like they have made the vast majority of HE rounds absolutely useless. Take the WZ-111GFT, which before this change had 3 very viable rounds: standard AP, 395-pen HEAT and 1,100 damage, 90mm-pen HE which was very reliable in doing chunk damage to hull-down tanks or just straight-up deleting stuff. Since then, I have tired using HE on several occasions (because with new Intuition the reload goes from 11+ seconds to just 4.5 seconds) but it is close to worthless. 200hp damage on hull-down tanks just isn't enough, and the amount of absolutely stupid zero-damage HE bounces on the side of low-health tanks is just ridiculous. Yes, they made HE more reliable. Reliably bad.

Just testing some lower-tier howitzers. The Jumbo Sherman and BUGI's lower caliber howitzers are mostly useless now, unfortunately. Both were fairly fun tanks.

Sr360 pointed out that i was dumb and didn't plan ahead to cheese the 121B 3 mark this week before the reqs went up. Not because of the dpm increase though - but because with bond vents, CVS and bounty LNES it's a camo torturer.

Really struggling to have any fun at all in Tier 10 games. Between EBRs, 2-3 arty games and high alpha HT/TDs.
Every game is like a struggle to survive while your team melts.
