I'm starting to understand why do shitters enjoy the game despite their horrible performance. As I've been getting better (thanks wotlabs) I expect more and more from myself but while I'm not near any top purples I notice I'm satisfied with fewer and fewer results. 3800 DPG session in a JTiger feels meh since there were no monster battles there. I just did what I expected. A few 5-6k battles, a few worse ones but I'd probably be only really happy with a monster carry.
On the other hand when I was a shitter even doing 3-3.5k in a t9 tank was a celebration. You are happy with less so it kinda makes sense shitters still play the game despite bad results

I think the ``addiction`` of wot is that when you hit somebody, you see a number, the better you are, the more and bigger the numbers, so its a rat race (more or less) and you also play for yourself, to unlock new tanks, drive classics from ww2 etc (i got a ton of games in stuff like JP and KT, because i find them relaxing to play)
So even baddies, who get crap dmg, just drive around, shoot people and once in a while they get a good game because of sheer luck (thats why the RNG will always stay, its so bad player can beat good players and highest winraito a triple unicum platoon can achieve is 75%, while even the reddest red will win 30%)
@GehakteMolen one thing I also noticed is some yellows and greens might even get more chances for monster games simply because they are useless early on and can carry against incompetent enemies while purples usually have a big enough impact vs bad teams that the situations where they are alone vs incompetent hordes are more rare.
