Even more so when 9.15 hits and you can have x25 zoom. You can actually unbind the shift-key from the settings as well. Nothing is more distracting than having a close brawl and having forgot to change the zoom from x25. That shit is so confusing to my brain.....

That being said, I've played combined (10k NA, 5k EU) 15k battles with shift, we'll see if I ever change my ways.

    My "pro" tip:
Don't use XVM, treat every opponent like they are equally dangerous. Sometimes tomatoes pull stuff you didnt expect them to, resulting in you losing HP or the whole tank. Especially win chance on the XVM is cancer, pubbies throw games just cos mod tells them there's no hope.

The only reason colonials use the name "soccer" instead of the original name football, is because they couldn't think of a better name for a game played with a foot long ball. Which brings us to the next issue I have with 'muricans and company. What's with the measuring system, wouldn't the metric system be much more logical to use? How about SI-system?
Atleast they drive on the right side of road in the new world, so that's nice.

SaintLaurentius reacted to Deliberate in Object 268 V4 Supertest Nerfs
    This is laughable
At the end of the day, the problem with the 268v4 are not the small micro problems like cupolas, it's the fundamental problem that it's a broken concept. Wargaming want to nerf it to 'maintain its role as a fast breakthrough tank' but the thing is that a 'fast breakthrough tank' is just an intrinsically broken idea. Breakthrough tanks are supposed to be slow and reinforce the tanks which have occupied key positions first. No matter how you try to nerf it, as long as it's a 'fast breakthrough tank™', it will be broken. It may stop being OP but it will still be broken. Sure, you can nerf the cupola, you can nerf the gun and reverse speed but that's just going to make it more frustrating to play and not improve the game. Players will still be forced to just ignore Malinovka hill in a medium tank because that 268v4 is going to get there first and you can't deal with him.

Look WG, you tried to introduce something unique, a fast breakthrough tank. It didn't work. You'll have to either take away the fast or take away the breakthrough. There's no other real solution.

This is a lazy and malicious cop out. This is their way of putting on an image of dealing with the problem without actually dealing with the problem. These people are disgusting.

I dont think so, people are just cautious, cos every damn bush is relocated etc. On most maps I have no idea where to park my TDs, or mediums.

So I dug back and didn't see an SU-100 thread, at least not for the last couple of years.  So I figured I'd start one.  I know tier 6 tanks don't get a lot of discussion time, but given the recent back-and-forth I had with @Archaic_Oneone in the JPIV thread over that tank vs. this one, I wanted to go back and give this thing another try.  And I have to say it's pretty damned fun.  If you're top tier, it can be ridiculous - you can one-shot about half the tier 4 tanks you'll meet (arty, tds, scouts) pretty easily, and you have excellent camo and mobility to go with it.  I'm not saying it's a great tank, but it's a good tank, and it's quite a blast to play, especially with a decent crew.  I don't think it really plays well as an assault gun unless you are top tier in a +2 match, b/c you have a fairly long reload, and you need to stay just a bit back from the front lines.
I run with the 122mm, binos, camo net, rammer.  It's great in the end game b/c of the alpha and mobility.
Also, this is (IIRC) the fastest I've two-marked a tank (153 games):

Sounds like a bad idea to me. My father plays this game and his overall WN8 is 700 and WR is 47%. Worst noticeable stats are with the M46 with 42,44% WR and 271 WN8 with 570 DPG. And I can assure he's not a bot, he's just so bad at the game it hurts by brain to watch him play.
His situation really opened my eyes on what comes to messaging shitters after the game, which I dont do anymore at all. Some people are just so clueless about the mechanics and meta so there's no point in calling them out.

Kinda hard to notice stuff like that when you're spamming 250mm HEAT at them, isnt it?

Hey all. Since the game still hasn't really drawn me in (only bought the T-10 back in anticipation of the free tank) and Overwatch is still fun, I have spent more time on miniatures. Sharing with you my progress with a T-34/85 by Dragon. Older mold, but it came with free soviet tank riders. Hope you like it and thanks for looking!

Should we settle for top 3? Since this might take awhile with the activity we have.... @Rexxie
    Best removed maps:
    1) Pearl River
    2) Northwest
    3) South Coast

I have no idea why any of these three maps were removed. For me Pearl River was the hardest one to play on, since it was common occurrence having to fight camping TDs in their base bushes.  Having said that, Pearl River had pretty diverse meta and you could play it many ways and there were plenty of room to maneuver with each type of vehicle.
Northwest meta was kinda boring, north western corner (who would have thought) was the medium/LT slugging spot, heavies brawled at the opposite corner backed by TDs on each side. Some odd lurkers in the middle, but nothing useful could be achieved from there most of the time. It wasnt a bad map anyways....
South Coast. One of the first maps to have a retard magnet beach. Very diverse map for each classes, with plenty of opportunities to roam and wide alleys to engage from.
I'm happy with the order they're in at the moment. Sure, Pearl River might have been the hardest to play, but I like the challenge. For the same reason I like Erlenberg, even though the battle scenario is always the same. This game has seen some shitty maps and some of them are still in the rotation:  Paris, Mines, Swamp and Live Oaks come to mind. None of the three removed maps were as lopsided as the ones i mentioned in the previous sentence.

He probably meant 113 as having a (marginally) better turret than 5A. hatches are smaller, just enough to be a lot less likely to get hit in CW. And hulldown against meds is what these tanks both excel.
430 U has OP turret better than both.  by a huge margin. hatches are even smaller, and almost a 100 mm stronger. you need 300+ just to get through, whereas you can pen weak chinese knockoffs with any tier 9/10 stock ammo (if you hit) . Like an E5 HD overbuff.
Also, 430 U turret sides are quite a bit stronger. Just enough to expose to multiple enemies in about 30-40 degrees angle and not get penned. 113/5A turrets work only  dead straight on.

So one of the core skills of this game, which is knowing each tanks rough reload cycle for engaging them between shots is thrown out of the window? Nice, just another way of making this game more confusing for players.
