  1. 'm going to use this opportunity to respec every captain. I made some bad choices with IJN and RU DD's. There are only a handful of captains I won't change.
  2. I just looked it up. It's the Target Acquisition module and it increases the range by 20% at which you can target another ship. So not the increased render range like I originally thought.
  3. The key to the Orion and other RN BB's is to know when to fire each (AP and HE). Both are equally effective, which is why the tier one captain skill that lets you switch ammo types is so important.
  4. Isn't there a module or captain skill that extends the render range. Try using that if you aren't already.

  6. Sounds like if the enemy has a lot of DD's the Z52 will be useful. If the enemy has a lot of CA's then the Gearing will be more useful.

  8. Thanks, this helps. All I really know about the Moskova is that it needs some different skills than the proceeding ships. I liked the Chapy enough to keep it, and my captain skills were suited for that ship so I kept him in it. I think I've got a 13 point captain in the Don so there is still some time to make adjustments for the Moskova. Reminds me of the time before you could not move dead tanks where RELIC blocked all access points to the cap on Himmelsdorf , and hid an AMX 1390 in that little doorway into the building. Good times.
  9. @OnboardG1 what Captain skills would you use on the Moskava? I don't have it but I'm the Don and it won't take long to unlock it.

  11. Discord take a little getting used to, but it's pretty good once you've used it for a while. When you log into our discord server you have to click on which voice or text chat you want to be in. Most people won't be on until tonight. Also, clans are limited to 30 players. This patch they just introduced clan naval bases (similar to tanks strongholds) The headquarters upgrade allows you to expand the clan size to 40 or 50 people.   15. Does this affect secondary fire?I'm wondering if a German BB can still lock down a cap just by using it's secondaries.
  16. I've been going about 70% HE, and have been doing really well. Most 100k plus damage reach battle. The key is to know when to switch between shells. It's even more fun in a division. One person starts two does, the enemy repairs, and the the second division mate sets them on fire twice more.

  18. You are probably right. I'm mostly going on memory form a video review I saw. Although the gun difference is true. KGV has 14" guns while the others have 16" guns. The 16" guns can over match 25mm bow armor, 14" can't.That is the main point I was trying to make. In a head to head slug fest the KGV will lose. Here's what Flamu said about the KGV.   19. Just seeing your response. I think he had the small gun, so he probably didn't have cola. It's more likely that he saw 95% of his health gone and just gave up. Go play another game if your first one is basically over.
  20. The KGV has weak bow armor. It can be over matched by all the other tier 7 BB guns. While on the other hand it's guns are too small to over match the bow armor on the other tier 7 BB's. While I don't have the KGV yet I think this is the reason why it's bad compared to the others. If it had a little thicker bow armor or larger guns I think it would do better.

  22. I'm thinking it's not to late to add the Conqueror to the list. We could give it 20 points just like the others started with, which is the same as what the Montana currently has. Any thoughts?
  23. I'm not a CV player either, but can do decent enough that I help my team more than hurt them. There are two reasons why I might play them. 1) to complete a mission that might require a CV. 2) better understand attach angles from a CV so I can improve my torpedo beats dodging in my other other ships.
  24. CV's are not for everyone. It's basically a different type of game within WOWS. However it's a good idea for everyone to play a CV in order to better understand how one is going to attack your regular ship.
