  4. I found the Roon and the Neptune fun ships to play. Even though the 10's are better, there is no need rush through them. Enjoy the journey. I just got the Baltimore and the Donskoi and can't say much about them since they aren't fully upgraded. Although using radar for DD area denial is fun.

  7. One thing to remember about RN cruisers is that it's easy to over run your smoke. Slow to 1/3 speed before using smoke.
  8. Save the free xp, it only takes a few games to get to tier 4. Tier four had sheltered MM, so it should be bearable. Tier five will be the biggest challenge.

  10. Not sure, but the leaks so far make it look like WOT strongholds. If it ends up being anything like strongholds then it would be earned during clan battles.
  11. Once you get to tier 6+ the AP wrecks DD's. It only takes about two salvos's to finish one off.

  16. Took this out a few times over the weekend, ended with a few 4000+ damage games and lots of evil laughs. One shot another T49 who didn't bother putting out the fire I started on him. Next tank up was a HWK which I sniped with a 900 dmg shot for the kill. First two shots in the game and I'm already at 2000 dmg. Next game flanked a Foch for 900 dmg, which helped break stalemate where my teams heavies were too chicken shit to take some damage.

Yamato and Kurfurst may be more specialised for certain roles, but the Montana is more useful in a larger number of situations. Great cruiser support with it's speed/stealth/AA/accuracy/. A BB that can push with the cruisers and DD's will help win the early fights. It's fine that you disagree with someone else's vote, but for this to work properly you need to follow the rules when you vote. Plus the other lines have some nice ships leading up to it. Against a top hull tier 6 ship that has damage control mod but not captain skill, and using DE but no signal flags or IFHE you the Dunk has a 28% chance of causing a fire per shell. 0.7669 * (1.00 - 0.05 -0.00) * (0.36 +0.03 +0.00 - 0.00) = 0.284 or 28.4% I also made a mistake in my calculation of independent events. It's not 1-prob^N, it's 1 - ProbNot^N where ProbNot is the probability of not causing a fire. My mistake. Anyway, if the Dunk lands three shells against a tier 6 top hull ship it has a 63% chance of causing a fire. 1 - (1-.284)^3.
