      Dunking on a pub aside, WoT is probably one of the worst games to 1v1 on since a huge chunk of output is in positioning instead of mechanics

    For the skeleton crew here at Wotlabs - does anyone have a capable defense of Redshire during assault?  It's a game I basically chalk up to a loss solo-pubbing when I load in and play for damage. 
    From the start you lose 2/3rds map control. Assaulting team can start capping once there is a wreck to hide behind on their side of the cap. Assaulting, I just park on a ridge, knock down some bushes and spot myself and fire from camo or crossfire  at 10 other spots.

      If you have decent camo and a good hulldown you can hug the line south and you can kinda ridgefight the hill warriors in the mid hill or meet the armor also pushing along the south border

      What a worthless opinion to have, moving camo is your de facto camo at all times since you're usually wiggling around in your position

      He's welcome to try though, I'm sure the enemy team would welcome the fat scout in the bush trying to spot :doge:

      He's also sorta right, you can count in your fingers the situations where having the better camo outweighs having a better gun/platform to take fights or plink people from some distance, albeit that largely comes down to map design where WG is as always ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    To the top purples here. Did you ever stop feeling bad? I've been a 3100wn8/61% wr player. Dropped to 57%/2700 and climbing back up but I feel like a total scrub.

    Last 150 battles: 48% win rate (dropped from 59.96 to 59.89 overall) and 1900 WN8 (down from 2600 recent for like 14 months - even my 60 day is for the first time in 10 years under my overall values...). I just completely forgot how to play... In every tank in every tier.

      I peaked at some point almost a year ago i think (purple recents on everything) then it went downhill and i plateaued back down to light blue-ish after marathoning the game, i found that playing shorter sessions helped improve my decision making since I could devote my brainpower to each match instead of spamming games and autopiloting, if i lost a lot more too bad, i only played 5 games so it doesn't matter long-term

    Writing a pretty extensive topic on improving for higher level players (2000+wn8 above) but it'll apply to everyone, just that those people will comprehend it better. 

    If there are any questions you'd like me to include, I will as long as the topic isn't finished by the time it's asked. This is a general improvement guide, so nothing map/tank specific, but larger concepts. (Improving situational awareness for example), if there are any: ask!

      I'd actually be interested in learning when you should be playing to your tank's disadvantages in order to make up for team comp/deployment disadvantages (i.e. trying to brawl in a squishy because we have no frontliners or sniping in a heavy because there isn't a second line to punish peekers)

    a bit to the side of the E75 ass. I checked on Tanksgg at that angle he has around 130mm effective armor. Minimal pen roll with T-34-3 is 139.5. I have no clue what happened and i'm seriously pissed. It was almost point-blank shot, so no distance drop off to explain it. 8UDDPkH.jpg

    Not to mention that the E75 in question is 46% player...
