@Shackram You're not wrong, there is a history of friction between the secular government and the various traditional leaders in the country.

Not really. Much like the collapse of the Soviet Union, the old government only gave up power when they had well and truly fucked things up by running the country in a terrible fashion for 50 years.
Turns out marginalising the majority of your population, failing to deliver proper services and education to them while misdirecting the GDP to support ailing parastatals instead of developing the economy beyond the point of being yet another third world exporter of raw materials leaves you with a country that is in poor shape to deal with the new century.

OOPMan reacted to kolni in Most people seem to hate ME Catalyst, is it that bad?
Well, ME has never been about combat really, it's about getting places, and fast.

The first ME was amazing and noone who played it for good times cared jack shit about the combat system because ideally you don't want to interact with them at all. You actually only need to combat once and that's only 8 punches.
I was very satisfied with the beta and the access I had to the full game before release, sadly Origin still keeps me banned for another two weeks for accidentally streaming it (turns out it wasn't DICE who rekt me @Zinn ) so can't comment on the game as a whole. The open world is something I think they could patch for eventual upgrades/DLC shit but it's a very natural environment that works well with the flow, always a way to get there faster EVERYWHERE which is what the entire game is really about.

I'm satisfied with having a sequel to a speedrunning game, this time revamped with a much better story. I couldn't care less about the combat system or open world not being big enough etc etc. Game reminds me of the old one, although a lot more polished and simplified which is both for the better and worse.
(no kickglitches or stupid hard glitches that just makes the game so much harder for like 10 second skips )

Most ppl I used to play with quit the game long time ago. Found some new plat m8s, but soon after they started playing with me they quit as well

Solo pub life is hard, but at least u can rage quit whenever u feel like it. When I play in platoons I often force myself to continue even tho I'm fed up after 5 games.
