Tiger has powerful DPM, and a large health pool. It takes damage fairly easily, but can be powerful when top tier.
Type 62 is a powerful tier 7 light tank, because it has pre-Nerf 9.17 light tank stats, like AMX1357
Rhm Borsig is still a great sniper schnitzel TD, with acceptable late game clean up ability because it has a turret. Though nowhere near as flexible as Skorp G or SU130PM, because those are much faster  -  Borsig plays the sniper bit better because of DPM and camo benefits. Borsig also is very fun, as some people use the derper HEAT/HE tandem
T32 is awful, and has fell to  power creep for many several years ago.  It has strong view range, strong turret armour, strong gun depression  -  but literally everything else is bad. It is a not so useful gimmick, that has long been replaced by more serviceable alternatives like Caern AX, normal Caern, 50 TP, Patriot, or heck even 5/1 RAAC

TBH i love these occasional posts simply because of their ability to bring out so many of the dead members, if even for a single moment.

But I want something pretty close to return to WG style crap game with poor quality devs out to milk every penny out of us that it can in the very limited span of time that they run the game."

Grind is the bad game designers answer to the question of "How do I keep people playing my shitty live service game".
There are no good game designers working on live service games.
As a result, all live service games are shitty and grindy.
    Welcome to the future.

    So I played a few...
-Physics vastly improved, no more fear of flipping.
    -Arty can't drown themselves.
    -No gold ammo spam.
-Shitlords can't snapshot you at 300m due to accuracy decrease; bloom matters a lot more.
-Environments are nice and clean instead of cluttered where it's hard to aim and move.
-Lower aimtimes across the board feels better.
-Can't get gold so there's zero pay to win factor anywhere.
-Extremely fast advancement as opposed to painfully long grinds to equip vehicles.
-Lack of crew skill variety means no grinding for eternities to have a competitive crew.
-Buffs to TDs countered by decreased accuracy and lower zoom which makes long range fire less effective.
-No battle stats screen after game means you don't have to see how abysmal every one actually is.
-Lack of mods keeps everything even.
Now, there's a lot I think is a bad idea. Arty's too strong, tank balance seems rough, and I'm not sure why they changed graphic engines again, this one seems like a big downgrade. But overall, pretty good patch with a lot of overdue improvements.

I can't help but see this as an attempt to try to contrast the old game with the new to remind every one of all the improvements they have made. The problem is so many of the improvements weren't improvements. The old physics where you were stuck to the ground were actually way better for gameplay because while they weren't realistic you also didn't have to constantly worry about flipping, falling, suicide bombers, or some fuck on your own team shoving you into water. 1.0 looked nice graphically but smoothing terrain made flipping even worse, while all the new eye candy crap littering the maps makes it harder to see and shoot. A lot of changes they've made really weren't better, they just made the game look better.

Eh...I think we can just agree to disagree on the fun-ness of ED
I'm glad you guys are enjoying it.
But for me, after 300+ hours on my end I realised it was just another one of the skinner box games I've come to dislike so much. I uninstalled it to gather dust along with all the other skinner box games I've grown sick of. I've entered a new phase of my existence where the tagline "A game you can played for the rest of your life!" is kryptonite for me :-)

I don't play this tedious game anymore, although I did see the buzz about deep core mining. I was vaguely tempted to play again until I remember I have already have a job that pays actual money I can use to buy actual things in the real world

OOPMan reacted to Fulcrous in WG Fest 2019 - Change of gold amo and much more
I wasn't trying to shit talk you lmao and I don't see why you are bringing up stats in 2018 - especially when try harding is pointless nowadays with lack of a true competitive mode.
It should be obvious that superheavies/heavies are far more annoying to deal with now than in the past because of the corridor-like design of maps. Take for instance, using the same maps, prok.
Prok 1/2 now has a ridge that allows both super heavies and faster turreted heavies to be effectively hulldown in complete safety. In addition the second set of bushes down the road indirectly buffed heavies as well by providing significantly more camo. 9/0 now has hulldowns for the north and south spawns, when it previously didn't, making trades super safe now and concurrently a stale map to play. You can go 1/2, middle, or 9/0 and effectively control 2/3 of the map just by sitting there.
While the changing meta (aka the introduction and overbuffing of new tanks) have a part to play, the core issues of gameplay are magnified by the changes in map design to make the game significantly more safe to play.
Erlenberg - 1/2 and 9/0 are even worse to play now than it used to be as you get fucked by anything in the A/K lines. Once again, magnified by the changes in map design that makes tanks significantly safer to play near the base. Sit in A9? You control middle and 9 line. Sit in middle? You control the side you are safe from getting shot from and the area in front. Sit in 1/2? You control 1/2 and middle.
When one spot can overlook 2/3 areas of the map, an open map effectively becomes a corridor because you are forced into (typically) 1 of 3 positions. Proper map design can easily make the staleness of what occured in ranked disappear - and consequently the overdominance of superheavies/heaviums - entirely. The best example of this, or at least a map that comes close, is Stalingrad and the new Pilsen. No single tank class truly dominated as there were areas each could go to and be equally viable. The only real issues with the maps are the extremely safe corners of the map and the lack of flexibility in middle and 9/0 because if you are caught in those areas, generally you ended up being fully committed.
FFS. There's so many ways you can solve the problems of the game by map design alone. If map sizes are an issue, there is nothing stopping them from making them bigger. We have evidence from T8 Grand Battles (or w/e the mode was called) that allowed every tank class to be viable in each individual zone AND negate a lot of the OP nature of certain tanks purely off of map design. We also know this game is an arcade game. There's nothing stopping WG from having different layers/levels in the same map and it's vastly better than changing irrelevant issues (the shit pubbies complain about).

    What happened to this game.
The long story is the same as the short story.
It sucked ass more than it didn't and no-one wanted to play. The people who did want to play found that getting continually reamed by Bandet and his chums was about as fun sticking your dick in a wood-chipper and all moved on to better things in life.
In a sense, Bandet should be commended as he helped those of us who did play WoWP move on with our lives to better things.
TL;DR: Bandet won, everyone else lost (and then won by moving on to less cancerous things...hopefully)

You happened to this game. You and your cronies clubbed and killed whatever was left of the NA playerbase since release. Stop pretending it's not your fault that the game has been on life support before it even came out, because you sure as fuck didn't help when everybody else predicted the effects of your overfishing.
