I have been a part of this community since the very beginning. I started during closed beta. (Anyone remember the days of free gold every day?). Haha. Anyways I did not make this post to [edited]about problems, wargaming, etc etc, as many have. It is meant to be a simple goodbye. I have had loads of fun with this game. I have met many amazing people, especially after my long break from the game where after 13k battles I was still 600 wn8 and within a year I was playing at 3k + wn8. Thank you, everyone who has taught me.
The first chunk of my battles was just me screwing around. After I came back about a year ago, I learned of XVM. Since that point I have been playing this game just because I wanted to improve. I wanted to prove that I also can play at that high level. Im not just some everyday "S$%^lord". This has been both rewarding and also debilitating. Now that I have been playing the last 5k battles at ~3k and 61%, I feel like there is no more drive to keep playing this game.
Unfortunately, I have to go guys. I need to begin a new chapter in my life. I am starting college next year, and I need to turn my focus towards other things. I will be checking back with friends every now and again of the forums. However, as soon as my Silver League Team finds a replacement for me I will be uninstalling this game forever.
Its been real guys! Seriously. I hate to go but I know it is the right decision!! Thanks Wargaming for the spectacular game, Mods (for everything), Players, Friends, so forth! I am going to miss you all <3

This is my original account if you want the TL;DR version: I got better. If you would like to hear what happened read on:

I started playing world of tanks in closed beta. A good IRL friend invited me. We played for the lols and when the game went live, I immediately started grinding for the T54 which was the med at the top of the Russian med line( tier 9 was the top tier med back then). I didn't even think about stats. I yoloed, didn't care about anything, I just wanted the T54. I didn't have anyone really to platoon with and I didn't even know "stats" existed. **fast forward 13k battles**

After about a 1/2 a year break, I come back in May of 2014. Still playing like a ****lord. Then someone from pubs asks me if I want to join their clan. I accepted the invitation. If it weren't for this guy "Atog1" I wouldn't be where I am today. He showed me XVM and also a bunch of streamers. My first World of Tanks Twitch follow was of Sela watching him along with other streamers, helped me to understand positioning among other things. When I downloaded XVM for the first time, I saw how terrible of a player I was and all I wanted was to get better.

During the course of the last year I have been pushing myself to understand and get good at this game. It hasn't been easy and with 13k battles and climbing, my overall has been going up very slowly.

Honestly, I would like to take this time to thank every single person that has helped me. I have met SO many great players and mentors, that instead of calling me a ****lord have helped me.
I do it myself but instead of putting people down, try to help them if you can, it will help improve this community. I know it is very frustrating and difficult, but seriously, as good players, it is somewhat our responsible to make this community less shit.

invest more than 50$ into your computer

"everything is easy if you know how and you don't know how"-my 10th grade calc teacher. Now obviously if I can do 4k it's probably easy. I don't remember saying it's hard, and if I did it was for making fun of assad, or I was a shitter at the time.
to add more flam(ing on) I'll add in that garbad is better than assad.

E100 ruinberg: Nothing you could do about the arty, you need to take a bit more time to aim your shots though. at ~11:00 you should have drove back to base. There was to much hesitation and you wasted time that you needed when you still had pubbie meatshields to take shots for you. 10:20 you needed to repair you track right away, cost you a bunch of HP. At the point your team was at, I think you were a bit hesitant the entire battle but you didn't really have much of a change unless they fucked up hard. You probably should have told you team what a do a bit more too, pubbies will not do stuff by themselves. You have to tell him, and sometimes the listen and it is normally worth the time. TLDR: Aim your shots more, and make decisions a bit quicker (sometimes the wrong decision is better than no decision).

E3 cliff: Your initial positioning is pretty good, but your teams is complete shit. 5 tanks wasted in the back of the map. This means you have to get tanks out before all your pubbies die because their support is in the base. Again, on these big 750 alpha guns you need to pen your shots. (Ex. On that conq, you aimed for his upper plate and snaped it, and it bounced.) Your aggression is good, you don't want to play passive and you're doing a good job of that. Nice job snaping dat 1390... poor guy. 9:39, again not aiming your shots costing you another 750 damage. TLDR: Aim your shots bro!

E100 Stalingrad: Initially, you are hesitant about which side you are going, it isn't a big deal but it is something worth talking about. I personally feel you would be able to do more damage and be more useful on the 1-2 line because A: Normally there is more HP over there, and B: You don't have fast mediums running around to take the damage, but this game you didn't really have mediums so I guess it was ok. At 12:30, you really should have just stayed up at that pile hiding your lower plate. Just find a spot that hides your lower plate and stay there until you can push without losing much HP. 11:11, you are being hesitant again... just pick a side and drive there you are to slow to wait. You spend so much time just sitting there... Also, you can angle your E100 turret a bit more. TLDR: Your main mistake was the hesitation this match, you waiting too long to do stuff... and you can't expect your retard pubbies to do anything so YOU have to be the one making the moves.

Obj.140 Erlenberg: Your initial position isn't bad, but a lot of your team is there... at 14:00 I don't really know what you are doing.... you are kind of just sitting in the middle shooting nothing. you waste a good 2 min shooting basically nothing... nice job killing the E5 but again you need to take your time like on the E75. 11:00, you yoloed to had. You can NOT cap on this map, you should have went back to the middle and waited till you saw if they were going back or not, if they went back you would have to defend the base, and if they didn't you would have to snipe them or flank them at their base. TLDR: To much time wasted doing nothing, and bad decision at the end (it happens to everybody).

Sum up: You need to really just make quicker decisions, don't be so hesitant.. just go with your gut. Also, AIM YOUR SHOTs. In those big alpha tanks, you can't afford to miss shots like those... you are costing your self so much damage and leaving them with more HP. Your situational awareness isn't bad, but you can always improve on it. Just remember that being aggressive is good, but you have to encourage your team to be aggressive with you. Your trading with enemys can be improved also, but it isn't too bad. Just keep a nice HP pool around for end game cleanup. All and all, not bad but there is always room for improvement. Hope this helps!
