  1. The intention, once all is said and done, is for the IJN torpedo spread to be more of an 'arrow' shape, with the torpedoes intersecting at a specific point - such that, if you aim well, you'll nail them with all four. Miss, and you miss with all four. Word from a dev in one of the threads, don't have a link handy nor remember which one specifically though.
  2. True, hence why I said 'relatively' normal. No, that wasn't at all because I couldn't remember 101's experiment. ...anyway, compared to the Gary vault, and the 999 women 1 man vault... yeah, closed forever is pretty normal.

I need to find the right swords honestly. Right now, I haven't found anything close to what I have, That said, I really like the scabbards for the Feline swords, as seen on Ultra. So... pretty... so well textured.
  4. Well, since you can name your weapons whatever you want, you can force that...

Yeah, the Relic swords are amusing. I've found a few good ones, but right now, they haven't matched up in damage to the Enhanced Feline set I have. I'll usually be fine with a slight raw damage reduction for stun or bleed chance, but with a 30% reduction, not worth it. You'll find good ones though.
  6. That story seems most interesting to me. In Fallout 3 at least, you were part of a relatively normal vault, and got the chance to explore some of the 'experiment' Vaults in the land. This one seems to me like an experiment one - one dealing with a form of extended aging. Maybe cryostasis or gene mods, who knows. Can't wait to find out though!
  7. I want so bad for this to be the game of my dreams, but it stinks too much of being a Battlefield clone. Don't get me wrong, I like Battlefield well enough... but it isn't Battlefront. No space battles, extremely limited planets... and so on. It doesn't feel like Battlefront at all from what I've seen.
  8. Waiting for Android. RIP.
  9. Its not really a game designed for joysticks. If you can't enjoy it without one, you won't enjoy it with one.

Let me put it this way. Why haven't you bought it yet? True, but if you go with Roche, then... I never played 1, but as far as I know, no decisions are carried over. In 2, there are a few that do, but they're smaller ones. They mainly affect whether you happen to encounter certain recurring characters, that sort of thing.

Or went the route that doesn't really have you dealing with her at all, heh, for the main playthrough.

Well, when half if not more of those who played Witcher 2 probably ended with her killed off... I can see why they wouldn't put the effort in. I do agree though, mmph.
  13. That's my point, heh. It runs the network card, though, so I can't turn it off and keep that working. I just raised the limit higher than I'll ever get.
  14. Tried it. Was fun for a bit. Didn't really make the game worth playing any longer though.
  15. No kidding. I'm really disappointed Cogeco doesn't exist in Ottawa - they've actually got solid service and decent prices. Rogers? Lemme see, with Teksavvy I'm getting 100/10 and 400gb for $65/mo. For around the same price, I could have gotten , what was it... 30/2 and 80gb from Rogers OR Bell? Fuckers.

God, I know. I really liked the Bloody Baron...
  17. I've since stopped playing too. Doesn't feel like there's much a point to, it's too shallow. Everything's a grind for the next ship, and exploration, my true love, got old *really* fast thanks to the complete lack of visual scale and the nearly identical systems. There's some nice views to be had on occasion, but that's about it.
  18. Oh no, I totally saw that coming and totally didn't have half my A-team in the medbay, with all my other soldiers unequipped.
  19. Here's the quotes from the actual article we have: There's not much on it yet, but there's what we have for the plot summary! EDIT: The article: http://ca.ign.com/articles/2015/06/02/xcom-2-welcoming-our-new-alien-overlords
  20. To preface, this isn't a topic looking for help, but a brief story of my triumph. Sort of. So, recently, I went from 28/1 Cable to 100/10. Pricey Cisco modem, but it should be worth it - I couldn't stand the weakness of the old. Upgrade process took time, but it eventually finished, around when the provider was having some downtime. Fine. I gave it a fe days... and when all was well, tested my internet. Speedtest reported 25/1 average. That's no good. I reset the new modem a few times (it's a 4 port router and wireless router built in, DCP3848 if I'm remembering correctly), to
  21. Honestly, I'm on the New York, and I want to know what the fuck is up with the shell spread on this thing. I couldn't hit a damn Omaha at 5km. Three separate broadsides followed by attempts with the front/rear guns alternating (dodging torps). I hit with *maybe* 5 shells total, for measly damage, while he simply picked me apart with the flamethrower miniguns. I mean, that wasn't even funny. It was just sad. Aimed almost at the waterline (leading properly) the first, a bit higher on the second... then just at the hull third. They all flew randomly into the sun, or dunked into the wate
  22. I'm trying to like Warships, I really am. I really want to. But fuck, the RNG feels even worse than WoT. Tried to play two games tonight. New York missed an Omaha with three full volleys... from 5km. I aimed well. Shots flew like Call of Duty's shotguns. 2nd game, Baltimore. Took a SINGLE stray HE shell about a minute and a half in... instant ammorack. Fuck it.

Seriously, how the fuck do HE SHELLS detonate a magazine on a damn warship when they're supposed to have removed HE pens?

  23. Technically both - they're a part of the same universe, so to speak. Specifically though, it is a sequel to the more recent XCOM: Enemy Unkown (and the expansion Enemy Within). The story changes a bit, taking a sort of 'bad end' from Enemy Unknown and running with it; XCOM and earth as a whole was overrun, now they're fighting a guerilla war sort of deal. Looks awesome.

I wouldn't recommend doing so, however. Can't remember if someone posted it or not but it bears repeating; there's currently a glitch going on where if you complete a quest that is 6 or more levels beneath yours, you'll get no XP reward - these are the quests where the level recommendation is grey, as opposed to green. CD Project Red have posted that they're aware of it, but there's no fix as of yet. My advice: complete all lower level quests in your journal first, and leave those already beyond that threshold until a patch is released. I've had to complete a couple, due to them being s
