    Heyo
My GF likes to do stuff with ironing beads and I am okay at pixel art so I decided to make some tanks for a friend to pick from and let her iron it. And since I had so much fun doing the pixel tanks I kept going and made some more. I hope you like them

Keep In mind that I had to chose from the colors she had and was very limited in my details since the low resolution. I will create some more, so feel free to drop requests.

Well I am a Game Designer so I can at least provide some educated guesses.
Checksum of course, but will be a game of Cat and Mouse. Upload the res_mods files upon report (possible but unlikely since a lot of people report of reasons and reports of cheating can't be taken seriously IMHO) Scan the RAM for certain Code. basically like an Anti-Virus. Afaik Valve and Blizzard do that for CS:GO and WoW Recognize certain Input patterns - specifically for Aim assists They are able to instantly betweent two points something a normal player can't

HappyIittlecloud reacted to bask185 in Jagdpanzer IV, best TD ever?
Funny, I looked it up and tier 6 TD is not that much your thing. But I also have driven the Jackon and I really hated it.
Slow, poor armor, worst camouflage, and I didnt like it's gun. That 0.35 is not bad, but good it isn't either and with slow rate of fire that thing can be such a payne. Jp4 has same accuracy, but if you miss.. you shoot again. You cannot out-DPM anything else in an M36. I just shot 1012 damage per game with a below average winrate of 57% over too many battles. And I gave it my best shot, I could not get that piece of crap jackson to work properly, sure I carried some matches, shooting 3k damage in a tier 8 match but it is really bad TD IMO.
And than to think that the m18 fires even slower than that gives me the shiffers. The jp4's reload time is already more than 2.5 seconds shorter than the jackson's. On top of that it is more convenient to have 220 damage over 240 damage because tier 6 mediums have arround 750 HP. And with 240 damage you need to shoot 4 times anyways. Better shoot 20 less damage and get the same job done sooner
The Dmax and nashorn are slow, they have very poor engine power, their armor is not only bad it offers no protection against high 'sposives and the nashorn is fucking huge as well. These slow paper TD cannot do the stuff I do with the JP4. And the americans cannot do it because those have no DPM at all.
Perhaps that the achilles might be somewhat good, as that one actually has and speed and decent firepower, but still doesnt come close to the Jp4s firepower, achilles is still poorly armored, it is fckn huge and has -5 gun depression.

I dont know how much damage I do today in the Jp4 as I corrupted her stats in my noob era, but I believe it must be 1200 average DPG atleast, I got dat damned MOE % to a freakin 98% for a reason.
The Jp4 really has the best of everything, it has good enough speed, some working armor, far far superior firepower, best camouflage and is lower than any other vehicle on tier VI. You also have the best on the move dispersion You can out-DPM nearly everything on your own tier. Only the Su100 with 100mm comes only a bit close into performance but all the other TDs have some kind of crap statistic, being lack of armor, speed, or firepower they all have something shits and besides the su100's accuracy is complete crap.

HappyIittlecloud reacted to bask185 in Jagdpanzer IV, best TD ever?
Long after I sucked at TD and stopped playing it, I decided I needed one for the missions. Long story short, in the end I rebought me the jagdpanzer IV because I think it is a pritty machine (<-- reason for all my tanks I own today). I had not even a clue about her firepower, and boy did I great it in  the highest MOE % I ever once happened to see was 98%. I did had to spend 42k free xp to train 6th sense for the commander, I had no active grinds anyways. Lets first go over dem PROs n CONs.

    PROs
    - Extremely low sillhouette. IRL the Jp4 is1.80m high IIRC and in wot it is the lowest mid tier vehicle after the ELC. You can facehug Kv85 and kv1s tanks, they cannot hit you back with -3
    - Best camouflage among all other tier 6 TDs
    - unmatched firepower, you can out-DPM the living crap out of almost every other tier 6 tank, AFAIK only the T150 and skoda T25 can win the DPM Race. The Jp4 has about ~50% more DPM than an M18 to give a reference,
    - decent speed and mobilty. Though it is no M18 the Jp4 is fast enough to provide some backup for the medium tanks. It goes a solid 40km/h with 14 hp/tonne. She has 35deg/s traverse speed
    - somewhat working upper hull armor of 80mm and good gun mantle with high mounted gun, actually bounces somethings now and then, and you are all a small target when hulldown
    - good alpha damage of 220

    CONs
    - poor HP (like 90% of every TD in wot)
    - engine module has no HP at all. Any 100+ dam gun can disable your engine by shooting on the LFP
    - -6 gun depression, but it would really be OP if it had more actually
    - poor penetration on APCR shells (171), when WG buffed the 88 l56 AP shells, they obviously forgot to also buff the ACPR shells.
    - poor HE shell damage of just 270 opposed to the M18's 320
    Me playstyle:
Sometimes I play like a scout if the map allows for it, other times I push just behind my team, sometimes I push in front of my team when they seem to lose the W-key again. I do not do basecamping stuffs, perhaps when I am bottem tier on abbey or something, but ususally I do not do such things. Instead of waiting for tanks to appear in front of me I go play the game. I charge kv85 tanks, I charge mediums, charging is what I do whenever I can . Does not turn out allright everytime.. yesterday when I saw a juicy hellcat within 50 meters I came in guns blazing, 2 shotting him, using HE and ramming... but than there was dat skoda T-25 unspotted next to him, oopsydaisy. Still got me 1000+ damage, and I died 3rd top damager dealer within 1:25 and my backup did kill the skoda so I trated myself for 2 other tier VI. It was a good day to die
And this baby got me my 2nd pool's medal replay. What is funny, today I looked up the statistics of the Jp4 and it really scores the lowest on winrate as well damge per game among the tier 6 TDs, but I don't get it. This 88 l56 is really OP as fuck and should really be nerfed, I got and 2900 DPM atm without BIA or prem consumables and I got best camouflage. TBH the JP4 is seriously underrated and it is seriously OP. It is the only OP tank I like driving without feeling like a total jerk off : )
Though I have the TD mission completed, my ultimate goal is to shoot 4k damage one day.
Kurt Knispel and michael wittman would be proud! XD

HappyIittlecloud reacted to Rexxie in Centurion AX and Why You Need One
So, the CAX is here, and I didn't see a thread to discuss it that wasn't based on the test server. I've only a few games in it, but it's definitely enough for me to get a good idea of what this tank is about. You guys know how much I like to complain, so I hope my praises for this tank mean something!
Now, why do you need a CAX? Because it's fantastic. It is exactly what you need in a support medium these days to remain competitive. It steals the good parts of the Leopard and sprinkles E-50M flavoring over all the bad parts - you keep that great mobility, gun depression, and view range, but you actually have armor and a reasonable chance of hitting without needing to aim. It does inherit the E-50M's shit camo and is somehow even larger, but that's basically all. It doesn't have the 4202's lack of HEAT, it doesn't have the Leo's bad gun handling or lack of armour, and it doesn't have the E-50M's anemic DPM or glass turret.
One thing I did notice is that this tank really benefits from crew skill. It has a lot of ways to get out of sight, but it lacks camo - Sixth Sense is hugely important, even moreso than most meds. The large tracks are going to get ripped up pretty often, so repairs are great. The camo is very poor, but if you have a camo crew you'll have a ton more leeway against high tier TDs and HTs - getting outspotted by a JT through a bush isn't much fun.
If you were a fan of tanks like the Leopard 1, but want something that hasn't been crippled by the metagame, grab the Centurion AX.
Recommended equipment/crew skills are the usual:
    Commander: BIA, Sixth, Repairs, Camo
Gunner: BIA, Repairs, Camo, Snap Shot
    Driver: BIA, Repairs, Camo, Clutch
Loader: BIA, Repairs, Sit Aware, Camo
    VStab/Gun Rammer/Optics for a "normal" loadout
VStab/Gun Rammer/Vents for a richboy loadout, swapping your AFE for pudding.
TL;DR you guys have an ax to grind.

HappyIittlecloud reacted to Patient0 in Guide Series - How to Suck Less #3: The Art of Engagement
Hey guys, this is my third submission as part of my article series. I would greatly appreciate topic suggestions as well as any criticism. You can also ask questions here or follow the stream and ask questions there. I stream Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays: Twitch. Today's article will go over the different methods of engaging enemies.
    The Art of Engagement
    Introduction
A fellow unicum once told me that you could reach dark purple simply through good mechanics. How you take your shots makes a big difference in certain situations. A lot of the time, you don't have the luxury of shooting an enemy while he's not loaded, so it is in your best interest to make your tank as invulnerable as possible. Better yet, you shouldn't even be visible. After all, the enemy can't shoot what they can't see.
    Different Types of Engagements
As I mentioned in the intro, WoT provides you with a variety of ways to shoot at a tank, and it is in your best interest to choose the best. Here's a list from best to worst of different types of engagements that you'll encounter:
Out of View Range: This is the best kind of engagement to have, not if you're on the receiving end of course. In tanks, this is the equivalent of shooting fish in a barrel. There's almost no way for the enemy to return fire unless they know exactly where you're shooting from, but most pubbies don't really blindfire. Most of the time, they'll be too preoccupied with whoever is spotting them to realize this. While this is the best way not to take damage, it also mitigates they damage you could do since RNG is more severe at these ranges and not everyone can lead shots like an aimbot. This type usually happens on open maps, like Malinovka, Prokorovka, or Lakeville.
Camouflaged: Same idea as shooting from out of view range, only this time you can be even closer. Only problem is that in tier 10, everyone's view range is pretty much max, so you'd need to find insane camo value bushes like those on the 1 line in Prok to actually stay camouflaged. I typically avoid relying on bushes because of this. In low tiers however, feel free to do this since everyone's crew and view range are terrible. Maps to use this on are varied. Basically any map with a bush and an relatively open.
Flanking, Misdirection, Distraction: This method has many variations, but it basically takes advantage of the fact that the enemy can only look at one place at a time. This works with routing the enemy's rear, shooting from a different, or just peeking very quickly and shooting if you think the enemy is dumb enough. This is especially effective on heavy tanks and tank destroyers, which are inherently slow and easy to farm. I use this method the most. Use this on all maps, especially ones with many avenues of approach, like Stalingrad or Himmelsdorf.
In-between Reloads: Good for slower firing tanks since the chance of retaliation is lower. Typically you'll be shooting at them frontally, so gold is usually required. This is the second most used method. Useful on city maps and sometimes open maps.
Tanking it: You have some sort of armor advantage and there is a ~70% chance that you will succeed in bouncing the enemy shot. Useful in heavy tanks in corridor deployment. You're increasing your chances of taking damage by doing this. Mostly useful on maps with corridors or corners.
Trade shot for shot: If you choose this option, there better be a damn good reason for it, like killing the enemy top tier, or resetting cap. Every shot you trade means less HP to rely on in late game, where you would really appreciate some health for 1v1s. This is relevant on all maps, especially city maps.
    Inherent advantage
These are situational characteristics that help you in engagements:
High Ground: Pretty much always advantageous, just watch out for TDs. High ground provides a many different angles for you to aim, but the opposite goes as well. It's very easy to over expose and be deleted off the map by arty or tanks. This situation usually occurs on maps like Mines, Malinovka, Prokhorovka, etc..
Hull-Down: Hull-down means that the upper part of a vessel or vehicle is visible, but the main, lower body (hull) is not; the term hull-up means that all of the body is visible. The terms originated with sailing and naval warfare in which the curvature of the earth causes an approaching vessel to be first visible "sails-up." Beginning in the 20th century, hull-down has also been used in armoured warfare. Reducing your tank exposure while only presenting your strongest armor to the enemy. While tanks with strong turret armor will utilize hull-down more effectively, even tanks like the 50B can do this to reduce the amount of tank that others can shoot at. Even tanks with sub-par depression can use this technique, but to do this requires practice and knowledge of terrain. This image pretty much explains hull-down for tanks with bad depression. Basically, you're tilting your horizontal axis of rotation so that it can be used as depression. Keep in mind that you are exposing your body, so do this quickly. The exposure is still minimal, so your tank will still be hard to hit.
Cover/No cover: You're in cover, he's not. This advantage exists in every map, and is the one used most often. If you catch an enemy in the open, and have cover, you force him to shoot at you reload speed. Even better is when there's multiple tanks shooting one in the open. The target can't aim more than one place at once, meaning that you and a platoon mate can take down a top tier without taking any damage at all.
Overmatch: You have the numbers advantage. This mean more damage output, more HP, and more targets the enemy has to keep track of in a slugfest. This can take place on a flank, in an alley, or across the map. Less effective than shooting from cover, but when it is crucial to take position, don't hesitate to ping your teammates to rush in with you. Make sure the first one to go in has the most HP, or the most armor. By doing this, you're using the distraction method mentioned above while overmatching, which increases damage dealt to damage taken ratio. Again, this advantage exists on most maps, but keep in mind, when you rush with only a slight advantage, the defender's has the better positions and better aimed guns. As a rule of thumb don't push into a corridor. Even if you have a 2k hp advantage or whatever, TDs/heavies can plug the corridor up and turn it into a slaughterhouse.
    Applying to Gameplay
Okay, so you just read all these different types of engagements, but might not be sure how or when to apply them. I'll go over that in this section.
Mediums: In a medium tank, engagements will typically take place in medium and long range, which suits your class. This will allow you to first engage from outside of view range in early game, camouflage snipe if possible, Then move in to flanking and shooting distracted and reloading enemies while using hull down, cover, and high ground mechanics. Then only in late game or cleanup stage do you tanks shots, trade, and overmatch.
Heavies: Rarely should a heavy tank ever be shooting from out of view range or sniping. In terms of engagements, you should mostly use 3-6, with an emphasis on shooting between reloads, taking advantage of distractions, tanking shots, and overmatching. In the first few minutes, get early damage at medium range. Then, from now until you are winning definitively, you'll be slugging it out with all the enemy heavies while praying that your mediums and TDs keep your flanks safe and clear of sneaky mediums.
TDs: For lightly armored TDs, keep engagements at 300m+. Heavily armored TDs will be with heavy tanks, keeping the team's burst damage high.
Lights: Play like a medium, but even more like a scavenger. Mainly snipe, flank, and shoot distracted enemies, but don't overstay your welcome. 1-2 shots and then scram because arty and annoyed mediums/heavies.
    Arty:
