It is the rule around here. You don't go asking about "muh stats". That is why I care.

The easiest way to increase your win % would be to platoon capable/carry tanks with players of the same or better skill level. Play off of one another, set up crossfires when possible and focus out dangerous or inconvenient tanks when possible. Other than that it just comes down to a few general things; positioning, trading your HP effectively and being able to judge the flow of a battle.
Now a lot of this just comes with time, feeling out where the favorable positions are on each map and what tanks can excel in those positions is a nice start, you probably already have a few of these spots. Think about what kind of tanks you are playing and if you can carry with that tank or not, play to its strengths.
When going for shots, think about how many guns are looking at you, don't want to lose all that yummy HP in one peek. Get to know tank reloads. Don't get lazy or greedy when going for shots... people can get lucky and snap you.
Knowing when and how to push a flank is hard. If you are trying to go for wins you will need to be leading the charge a lot of the times (pubbies are too scared). If your team is going to lemming you need to either crush that flank asap so you can return to base or put pressure on theirs or, you need to be in a position to slow the enemy down enough to stall for your team.

That's in there. Try toggling the season on the left and then click the part of the tank that you want to change. A dialog box should appear with small/medium/large buttons. Some of the camo has color variations as well.

OK... It's starting to grow on me. The fact that you can remove camo and put it on different tanks without additional cost is so un-WG-like.

On top of that, they give you a set of permanent camo as a gift. That means you can freely put camo on grind tanks without cost. That's a pretty big credit savings. Actually, a total cheapskate could just move that one set of free camo around at will.

    Greetings, newcomers.

As this is the first place new people have access to, I'd like to go over a few things that will greatly enrich your time here.

First of all, know that those who contribute to and moderate these forums are players who are dedicated to performance. We strive to play well. If you are a person who is an average tanker, or even a bad tanker, you are still welcome here. However, we have little tolerance for excuses. We welcome players of all skill levels who wish to improve their play. Blaming anything other than yourself for your failures will quickly get you removed. But if you want to get better, you will not find a more helpful resource.

Bear that in mind when asking questions. Instead of saying something about some hacking invisitank killing you, ask how an enemy was able to kill you without being spotted. We know how the game works. We can help you know how the game works. We can help you be the person that makes other people run to the forums to cry about hacks.

Grow a thick skin. If you're bad, we will tell you. We will likely not spare your feelings. We're not kindly old school teachers here, we're hard-ass drill instructors. We won't kiss it and make it better, but we will turn you into an instrument of death, praying for war.

Keep discussions civil. Even unica have differing opinions. Irate posts will get nuked fast. Discuss and argue points. Leave the ad hominem attacks for the Official forums.

Finally, remember that we all play for fun. Some of us just prefer that we have our fun at the expense of the enemy team.
