    Volunteer firefighter sounds like significant investment so I can't do it because I'm thinking about something quite temporary (Like maybe a week at a time when I have free time during this summer) but that does remind me I am certified in cpr and first aid.

    My Dad wants me to volunteer to do something to get something on my resume (which helps get a job) and get experience doing job-like things in general and I myself wouldn't mind being productive. But I don't really have any idea what to do. Where should I look to volunteer and what kind of activities to volunteer for are the most beneficial for resume padding and experience?
