I think I'm playing something else for a day or two. 12 games, 3 wins 3k average damage. A new bad games streak I have no desire to beat anytime soon. The Highlight was this Patton game. I did more (on a technical) than the next two on my team. http://wotreplays.eu/site/5206996#overlord-echo9835-m48a5_patton
Divinity Original Sin 2 seems like fun. Now the hard part, Lohse or Sebille?

I haven't played in a long time (I ironically stopped playing just before the enhanced edition patch hit), so not sure how much it has changed, but on release, it was super-important to stack your entire party on either magic damage or physical damage. Mixing damage types in your party just makes everything unnecessarily difficult. That's because CC is king as you're heavily outnumbered most of the time - stack damage type to reduce the CC protection shield ASAP, then chain CC and pick your target at your leisure.
I usually do 2 and 2 for magic and physical, but its tougher on the highest difficulties to focus down individuals. On the other hand you don't get stomped by one boss with magic or physical resistance.
Yeah, I think 2 and 2 on the Tactician difficulty will get you into trouble in too many fights. I found a 3-physical, 1-magic setup worked really well and was pretty much getting through most fights without much problem. Not sure with the current patches, but back near release from memory physical was generally the better damage type to focus on because of the way it scaled with gear.
