  1. I'll believe the performance improvements they claim when I see them via benchmarks from reputable tech sites and YouTube channels. That 3070 seems like a steal though if their claims do hold true.
  2. That GSOR looks so broken in its current state and would completely outmatch the Skorpion in terms of how aggressive you can play (I like playing Skorp aggressively like a Medium when situations allow me to do so), on top of that has a TVP clip and 320 APCR.
  3. So I used boosters + blueprints to skip to both the Type 61 and Leo PTA. I have free exp to get them fully upgraded so that's not an issue, but I only have the credits to buy one, which should I buy?

      I should also point out that both tier X's are generally considered "good".  Both have their supporters (as a pub tank).  Both do get occasionally/situationally used in competitive, with the STB having a slight edge cause of its strength when put into hulldowns, hillsides

      TBH, right now tier 10 is so shit that i'd base your decision on which is the more fun tier 9 to play. You've got both anyway, but playing tier 10 after playing the tier 9s will feel like a step down in fun I think.

      I'll definitely end up trying it at one point, but after playing the T 50 with its 1.8 sec intraclip, 3 seconds would feel like an eternity. 19.38 second reload on the T 50 was really short as well, so there was never really a situation where I felt that I got caught out reloading.

The two biggest problems that have crept up on me again is using team lists, both mine and enemy team, in order to decide what positions are effective upon deployment. Additionally, a lot of times my indecisiveness in the mid to late game in terms of positioning can cost me to be late to key positions (Which you see in the first game actually), health or damage. I think this comes down to the fact that I generally don't like to make plays until I'm absolutely certain of where enemy tanks are that can affect those plays (Unspotted TDs) etc., so I'd like help on this too. Edit: Removed a 5A replay that was just a straightforward W key win and added another 277 game instead.
  6. The hull traverse values of the E 75 seem to be the wrong way around BTW. Currently on the live server it has 28 degrees/sec on its stock tracks and 30 on its top tracks and, so I think they're actually buffing it from 28 to 36 for stock tracks and 30 - 39 for top tracks. As if this tank needed a buff Personally, I think the biggest buff here is to the T32. I'm interested to see how it'll perform. I really liked it even when it had terrible pen, and whilst 208 still sucks, with the increased DPM, it'd have 2,200+, so that thing would be pretty good with full Gold.
  7. The only thing I personally think is worth it is the T8 Prems like the T26E5 and AMX M4 49 for F2P players that may have saved up bonds and need a T8 Prem. Otherwise, yeah, save it up and wait for something good. I'd wager that the VK 7201 will show up at some point, but I highly dout the Chief and 907 will be sold.

  9. I was in the same dilemma. I think a high caliber tank with full HE would do the trick. Was gonna try it with the 268 v4 but maybe the SU-152 would be a better bet.
  10. Hiding stats and retaining a username wouldn't work at all. XVM would just update so as to show the last recorded stats of the player before they hid their stats, and you'd be back to square 1. I was initially skeptical of this name hiding feature, as I thought it might have been possible for XVM to somehow fetch the original name, but they claim that this problem is solved. Another potential problem with this is making the list of possible nicknames something predictable, because if one originally used XVM to target the best players before, and now they see someone had their name hidden through a pattern of predictable hidden names, they'd assume that anyone who has hidden their name is a good player and proceed to focus them.

    Apparently, clan-related game modes, Frontline and possibly Grand Battles don't count towards the 5 battles, so it may be possible to just play your choice of tank in Frontline. Unconfirmed though, so take with a grain of salt.

      Yeah, I already got the Somua. At worst I have it for five Frontline games. At best, I have it for all the Frontline games. I'll try starting with it and also starting with another tank  and then picking it after that gets nuked and see if there is a difference.

  13. Bro IDK why but I just cannot make neither the WZ-111 5A nor the 113 work, can never get myself in good positions to deal damage. Main problem I think that contributes to this is the fact that I don't know when to be a heavy and when to be a medium. I just look at no. of meds and decide if it's worth reinforcing or not, and I either die or I end up with no damage. How to decide what role to take? K thx

      You know where all the bot heavies congregate on a map? There. Easy farm dmg and also remove alot of HP from enemy team which makes late game carry easy. Trying to play chinese heavies like a medium isn't gonna result in any sort fun. Sometimes you'll get a good game bullying out of meta MT's but usually the heavy tank spot is the best bet.

      For the 5A, you play heavy against low tiers, meds , and superheavies that have shit gold pen. Unless sure that they are driven by shitters, you're generally ill advised to manfight same-tier heavies, e.g. 60TP, Sconq, etc.

      The 113 is different as the armour really is reliable in certain engagements, but then again the mid mounted turret, looooong chassis and derpy gun makes it kind of awkward to fight meds. IMO playing the 113 requires a lot more finesse and attention.

      @Va1heru I tried what you said and I'm actually playing well in the thing again lol, had a 3.6k DPG session in 20 games which is pretty good, thanks for advice.

  15. New Sandbox just went up with the ammo changes they were talking about. TL;DR: What they've done is essentially increase standard ammo damage and increase the health of all tanks, whilst keeping penetration the same. Premium and HE rounds remain unchanged.
  16. I see it as a good thing that the proposed nerfs failed, since they took the approach of making the 430 and 430U frustrating to play and didn't actually change how frustrating they were to play against. Their statistics almost certainly reflected that.

Back in the day this was one of the best heaviums, but since then, a lot of other Tier 9 heavies have been introduced that do its job, but better.   21. TY but it was mostly the fact that I played 7,000 games on a 5 FPS toaster that caused the horrible overall stats. Came back last September with something that could run the game and could actually apply my knowledge and here I am
  22. I mean, Mediums still have the 2 key, but yeah I feel that on most maps, the team with more superheavies wins because Meds can swoop around whilst 1 or 2 superheavies can hold an entire flank. This is just from my experience, might not be the case for others.
  23. Murazor up to his usual retardation. Type 5 Heavy now has a derp which deals 1,100 damage with standard HE and 1,400 with Gold HE (Both have 75mm pen). On top of that, its armor got buffed to the point where they consider 270mm ports on the front of the hull "weakspots". Maus got an overall armor buff, a better reload and 200 extra health. It did have a lowest possibile reload of 9 seconds, but they nerfed the reload a tad and removed the extra 200 health.
