Pensacola would not be out of place at tier 5.

Did they change spotting range on torps in Wows?
-
-
They did a pretty large rebalance on torps and detection ranges back in the pre-6.0 series of WoWs. They made the detection of the 20km torps 2.5 km and dropped the speed to 62 knots. At the opposite end of the spectrum are the Khab torps - they have only 6km range and a speed of 53 knots, but they have a 0.5km detection range So yes, you need to look carefully at the torps to see what the current detection range is.

First WoWP problems: I have a ground attack mission that requires winning. But winning is impossible, unless I take a fighter...

GA don't win games. Bombers don't win games. You can remove those two CLASSES from the game and exactly nothing will change.
That's how irrelevant GA was, is, and will be,

P-51 is as OP as ever. Can beat 109/110 in energy fights, and everything else in turn fights.

I think the point of WoWP 2.0 was to eliminate solo play.
-
WoWP 2.0 is good and all, but no amount of updates can fix players...

Yep, still hate Amagi. Bouncing off the sides of DDs.

Just found out the Captain of my ship plays WoWs. And used to play WoT.

It's like his version of an RPG.

I'm told people actually like the Amagi. I can't understand why.

Back at see. Home port in New Jersey. Sailing to Bermuda, Bahamas, Orlando, SE Caribbean, and (in a couple months) Maine and Nova Scotia.

On my way back west. Valencia today, Lisbon two days after. Azores two after that. Then, across the pond to San Juan.

I've finally managed to secure (mostly) unfiltered internet access. I could, in theory, play tanks. Albeit at 600+ latency...

Today will end in a promotion... or dismissal.

@PityFool I sacrificed some reds to save the ship. And called the captain a europoor fgt for not stocking gold consumables.

Someone died during a lifeboat drill on one of our newest ships. My significantly older ship is due for the same drill on Friday...

Investigation ongoing. Judging by what I know, I suspect one of the two lines that lowers the boat came loose. This makes the (quite heavy) life boat go from horizontal to vertical very fast. That's bad for anyone who may be on it. That's worse for anyone who may be in the water below as the thing swings toward them.
Last I heard, 5 crew members were involved. 2 had been released from the hospital. 2 still critical. 1 died.
Usually this sort of thing is caused either by mechanical failure or human error. As this is a very new ship, mechanical failure seems less likely. I didn't know the one who died, but he had served on my ship before. Some people here know him.
We drill at least once per cruise, and actually lower a boat around once per month. Goal is to reduce the likelihood of human error. Incidents are rare, but that doesn't do much to set people's minds at ease. Not sure if we're going to go through with our drill tomorrow. Might just do a standard drill without lowering the boat, and resume the monthly boat drill after the investigation.

0 games on the 60 day tab again. Now, my WN8 is free to increase. Proving once again that not playing is the only way to win.
