    If WG magically gave the option in settings, to turn off battles with Artillery and Light tanks, I would check off both in an instant. A fucking instant. Yes, I do agree that even tank destroyers and light tanks combined, do not create the toxicity arty does, sure nothing does that. But LT are definitely more toxic than TDs. And in a blink of an eye, I would select these things as off and never face off with these shits again in a pub. And I am not just singling out armoured cars, which are the most troublesome of the bunch. All are problems, except the low tier pseudo-light tanks. IE:  Valentine, AMX4O, MTLS  -  these things are fine because they are lies really, not light tanks at all more of meds.
    ơ  LT promote extreme passive play. Unlike arty they don't bomb and stun people far away, sure. But they spot for the arty to bomb and stun people. They don't suffer camo on the move penalty, making their job quite easy and extremely frustrating to counter late game. Even bad camo LT, can sit in a bush with binocs / camo next and dramatically increase their camo/view range, to which you never spot them unless literally running into them or have an EBR run into them. 
    ơ  Myself included, guilty and to be charged......farming damage in light tanks. Excellent camo, camo on the move, small size, speed  -  these things are terror late game and clean up very well. Notice the LT re-balance ages ago, bringing them to tier 1O - WG decided to nerf their view ranges/DPM/pen/Accuracy? Because that the WG queue, their actions saying, "light tanks are toxic fucks. We need to limit their ability." 
    ơ   Meds can fulfill their role of battlefield spotters, with the healthy gameplay risk of losing 25% their camo if they move. This is great for gameplay, adding risk management. They don't have the retarded LT camo shield when they move. 
    ơ   Arty punishing aggressive gameplay?  Well, it is very very very likely a hidden light tank, that hasn't move in a minute, spotted you making an aggressive play, to which you get punished by arty or TD. Sure, it is easy to get caught up, and angry over passive play from TD and definitely, point and click sky shits - but where is the root of the problem? A lazy cock light tank making it all happen. The light tank is pointing and clicking too, he just is Teeing, not firing. 
    ơ   For all the stat guys, LT horribly skew WN8 too.   of all the TK, how many are TKs on light tanks too teams are angry over? Just because team-dmg is turned off, doesn't mean TK are off. Allies push you, nudge you off edges, block you in wrecks, drown you, Etc. 
    I am not going to argue with people over the fact that yes, arty is more toxic and shitty, without an ounce of skill. Because l guess light tanks need to some of rudimentary skills. But besides brown sky farts, no other class causes as much trouble as lights. People, newcomers especially, leave this game over the fact retartded invisible light tanks are preying on them, half the problem of low tier clubbing constitutes light tanks. Heavy tanks in city maps are annoying, sure but can be avoided - unless what you are driving is something like Strv. I have seen soft skins like AMX3O, Leo, STB1, Grille 15, FV4K5 do just fine in city maps and close encounters. But for Strv, that is on you for not turning off Ensk and Himmels. So what is the problem here, the results that light tanks can get so easily? No, because spotting and contesting map area are  part of the game  --  it is just the easy mode in which they are able to do it. (like arty, isn't it? Free damage?)  Medium tanks can step in and do the role of scouting, at a much fairer, riskier, healthier way.
    And this applies to CW, too. Clan Wars was just fucking fine with Bat Chat 25 doing that shit. Light tanks are toxic in that venue, too.

    Russian and Chinese tanks have always benefited from being well armoured and fast heavy tanks,  and WG decisions recently giving them gun depression sucks. This initially started out as a thing unique to western tanks, not really well armoured, but with good turrets and the gun depression to use them. situational enough that they could seek higher ground and hold that ground against these Eastern tank designs. But that is all changing piece by piece, patch by patch, with the twin barrel tanks coming out with very strong turret armour, and good gun depression, where does that leave old tanks like T11OE5 
    113, WZ5A, K-91, obj 268 V 4, obj 263, Etc. Quite ridiculous, really. Late tier Chinese and Soviet tanks should be capped at -5 and -6 GD, because they have other benefits which western tanks don't get, that they basically -trade- for their gun depression advantage. Supposed advantage.  IS4, ST-I, KV4, that shitty line can keep its gun depression because it actually needs all the help possible. 
    A solution to this, would be to start 'easternizing' western tanks, as they have 'westernized' eastern tanks.  Sort of like Super conqueror and FV421 Chieftain. Super conqueror side armour was greatly increased compared to FV215B and T11OE5, and Chieftain has decent side armour as well as being a fast heavy, quite a bit faster than something like AMX54 or T11OE5  -  able to keep up with tanks like IS7, 113, WZ5A. 
    - increase western tank side armours to chinese and RU levels.  Leo, STB1, AMX3O, Cent A X, FV215B, T57, AMX54, T11OE3/4/5, Kran
    - western tanks should also be provided with side running gear plate like on Centurions, thickened to levels like IS6, as they historically used them the most

    Introduction  
    In a meta-game that has devolved from the historically dynamic gameplay of vision, flex, and map rotations to a primitive style of brawling in lanes and corridors, the relevance of medium and fast heavy tanks has severely diminished. As vision, flex, and map rotations became less important, the ability to survive, deal large amounts of damage in a single trade, and anchoring of positions has become paramount to dominating games. Many players still have conflicts as to which tanks reign supreme. The top 1% will argue that given the afore-mentioned parameters, the Object 277, Object 705A, Super Conqueror, 113 or WZ-111 model 5A are the optimal heavy tanks for this shift in the meta-game. I regret to inform you that none are correct. It is the VK 72.01 (K) - the King of Heavy Tanks. That’s right teamoldmill. Germans are #1.
    My Qualifications
              Literally the highest win rate by a large margin in the VK 72.01 (K) on NA/EU according to DPGwhores.com whilst having competitive DPG with the top 10 players and at least 150 games played (data is outdated on DPGwhores).       No one comes close in terms of win-rate. At the time of writing the guide, I am currently at 240+ battles in the VK 72.01 (K) with a win rate of 75.83%.

    My thing with this is I would prefer to fight my same tier tanks more often than not. Yes it's fun to stomp lower tier tanks when I can, but what's the challenge of rolling my head on the keyboard in a tier 8 tank and stomping tier 6s in a mod 1? I would rather constantly fight tanks of my own tier, with having to fight +/- 1 fairly often then only worry about +/- 2 rarely when server pop is low or people are not playing a certain tier. This in theory fucks with lower tiers, but for the most part they already see +/- 1 which is better for newer players. Is this the perfect solution, no? Is this something WG could probably do right, I think so.

Is it as I suspect, that this tank has barely anything going for or against it, as it's placed in a wierd limbo of meh or uselessness between AMX 50 100 and Lorraine 40t?

    Recently we had an issue updating the statistics. This was caused by the database server running out of space due to a logging error. The database has been cleaned up and statistics should be updating again, with plenty of room to spare.

    Wish they would stop doing this money grabbing shit. Both these tanks look really gun to play, but a lot of content is getting locked behind a pay wall. The game is becoming pay to experience something different at this point to older players. Yes we just got another line in the game, but not everyone loves TDs. I hate the mass release of premium. Granted it's nice to grind credits, but actually having some fun tier 8s to play that were not all premiums would be nice.

    Ways to unlock a tank where X, C and H refer to level 15 missions not completed, completed without honors and completed with honors, respectively:
    H H H H X / 0 orders C C C C C / 0 orders H C C C C / 1 orders H H C C C / 2 orders H H H C C / 3 orders H H H H C / 4 orders H H H H H / 5 orders Now, sum up your combinations per the table above for each tank to get your total number of orders. For every multiple of 4 that you have, you can skip a 15.X mission.
    This is my status as an example:
    Stug: H H H H H / 5 orders T28: H H H H H / 5 orders T-55: H H H H X / 0 orders 260: H H C X X / 2 orders Total: 12 orders Therefore, I can spend 8 orders to finish the SPG-15.4 and LT-15.4 to get a 260 and the last 4 orders to get the 5th girl crew member from the T-55a set on patch day.
    Let me caveat all of that with what I perceive as the consensus on how people think this will work. WG could do something entirely different and I would not be surprised.

    I'm trying to understand this, and I will not be playing arty ever again, but I have the Heavy and Medium missions done for the 260. I'm almost done the TD missions and I have a few light missions left. I haven't started the arty missions obviously. I have always skipped the arty missions other then for the Stug, which were easy as fuck with an old M53/55. Now would I be able to get the 260 if the patch were to drop tomorrow, or would I need to finish either the TD or LT missions then be able to get the 260? I will not be playing arty so I'm trying to avoid that at all costs.

    If I read correctly,
    Stug IV - 4 orders available (assuming you did 4 sets with honors and maybe 5 if you also did SPG with Honors)
    HTC - 0 orders available ( 4 orders locked in fifth mission set)
    T55a - 0 orders available (4 orders locked in fifth mission set)
    260 - 2 orders available (assuming heavy and med are done with honors)
    So you have 6 (maybe 7) orders to play with...
     
    so you can skip the 260 SPG mission set by using 4 orders and further use 2 (or 3) to skip individual RNG missions on your way to completing the last two 260 mission sets (honors not required)
    If you finish one more 260 mission set with honors you may have gathered up 8 orders so you can skip 2 sets of 260 missions...

    Without any replays we are literally shooting in the dark. Provide us with some gameplay so we can tell you what you did wrong/how you can improve. These people are trying to help you, but you have given them next to nothing in terms of information in order to help you. Don't get cranky when we don't have anything to go off of. And I haven't played my E3 a lot in pubs (played a ton in competitive stuff lately), but it seems similar to the Jagdzilla, which I adore. And everything they said is right. The T95 and E3 are quite different, and although the E3 is more heavily armored, its frontally so you need to make sure you only have people shooting you from one direction. If they are shooting you from more then one direction, you have over extended.

These people are trying to help you, but you have given them next to nothing in terms of information in order to help you. Don't get cranky when we don't have anything to go off of.
