I have a question regarding the spawn places on the Siegfried Line and it's the same for Bases 1 and 2. Sadly, I have only three screenshots, but believe me, every game is the same. Here are the screenshots: Why on earth do light tanks get a spawn place that is the furthest from the field area of the map, which makes them basically useless since you can't spot anything because you are 20-30 seconds late. Salute! I apologize if there was a poll like this already, couldn't find it. Since LT stats got reworked, meta changed a bit, and the fact that most of them are collecting rust and dust, I'm doing a cleanup. The new tier 10 lights are often discussed at length, but I don't hear much about the tier 9s. I like to have at least one tank of each class at each tier. What are your thoughts on the tier 9 light tanks? Which of these tanks seem like they would be keepers?

I'd just unlocked and bought the T71 (t'is on discount in SEA server) so what should i be expecting/look forward to? i've gotten pretty much gone through or am still at most of the other nation's tier 7 LTs [ AMX 13 75 LTTB M41 Bulldog SPIC WZ-131] so i'd like to think I know what i'm doing with light tanks so far. i've got a rough idea of what to expect, that it being similar to the AMX 13 75, but I'd just like to hear from others on their opinion/experience with this tank

Hi guys, Sorry if this is the wrong section to post this, if so maybe someone can move it to the correct one. I'm looking for a list of light tank/scout streamer list. I've searched and not found any and thought it would be good to make one. I've seen a couple but the only one I can remember is 4tankersanddog. Maybe more players like me are having a difficult time finishing their LT missions and a good idea would be to make a list of dedicated light tank streamers/youtubers. I have just short of 100 battles in the thing, rocking a 49% winrate. I held a (admittedly quite) mediocre 53% w/r in the 131, with 136 battles played. In it I run optics/rammer/vstab, with food and I have a crew that's halfway through their full skill, with Sixth Sense/camo for the first. Second skills are Camo, Snapshot , Smooth Ride, and Situational Awareness. Third I'm working on, and it's all BiA. I use the t9 100mm. I'm going to post a few replays of my average games. Hi, I'm not a great light tank driver, but I think it is time I started driving these tanks more to optimize my map knowledge. Because at the moment I know it is seriously lacking. In order to get a little more structured feedback I've decided to take some print screens of the minimaps (just taken off the internet, don't look at the quality) and indicated where I go in my lights when the counter hits 0. The lines indicate only the initial locations where I go to, and depending on the deployment of the enemies I relocate or not. To keep it simple, I only indicate where I go, not wher

Hello Everyone, I haven't played much since 9.0 and just recently decided to get back into things. I generally like to just focus on one tank and play it all the time. (I like leveling up a crew.) In the past I've used mainly the T49, ELC AMX, and I was just getting back into the VK 2801. I love all these tanks because they've been able to carry a lot of team. (I mainly solo pub). Recent updates have taken away a lot of the advantages of these tanks though. It seems like every updated map takes away the great scouting spots. And the TD firing bonus hurt my play-style too. (tho

Hi! The September Light tanks mission is on, and as a reward they are giving out - a heavy tank. So far, I feel this mission (and the medium mission) is far more difficult than the previous ones, mostly because of only accounting base XP (yeah, another nerf to the premium account...). Previous missions required me to play ~15 games, but the last two days I did not finish the daily mission with less than ~25 games. I've been running the mission mostly with VK2801 (grinding this POS), Chaffee, Type 64 and AMX13-90. From the results, I seem to get the highest base XP with the french light -
Hey! I have a locust, and I love it to bits. Its a fun little machine, and wicked fast in a straight line. In a tier 3, and lesser degree, tier 4 match, I'll be pretty aggressive in it. Active scouting, circling enemy tanks. (Well I guess strafing is more accurate, as I try not to turn unless needed due to speed bleed.) In tier 5, the APCR can't hurt heavies from point blank unless I get very accurate weakpoint shots. So Instead I'll passive scout. I'm looking for some pointers on scouting. I love playing my M24 Chaffee or T71, but there are a few maps where I simply flounder due to having abso-fucking-lutely no idea how to scout the map properly. One of my best examples would be Serene Coast. It doesn't matter which spawn I get, I have no idea what to do at the onset of the match. Could anyone walk me through some good locations for both active and passive scouting?

I have two lights in my garage that I barely ever play, the VK2801 and the 59-16. I have had both for months and months, almost never playing them, pretty much since the vision/camo changes. Because of the IS-6 thing going on at the moment, I decided to run them cause I was getting tired of the completely oblivious players playing tier 6. But like every time before, I regret it after a few battles because I am instantly reminded of how imbalanced they are (as in underpowered). How do you train up light tank crews to the first skill?

Basically, out of all the tanks in the game, I can't think of any being as dependent on the first skill as light tanks. Without sixth sense on the commander and camo on everything else, it's hard to avoid getting outspotted on a lot of maps against higher tiers, except for those with great bushes. Doubly so after the 8.6 camo nerfs, which disfavor high-camo tanks (scouts) and favor high-viewrange tanks (higher tiers). This is an especially big issue for those who suck at light tanks (like me) and need every advantage they can get. The question is - where do you get this crew? Is there -
The WZ-131 (and the 59-16 before it, grinded them when we had the community-choosen event on the EU server) is my first serious attempt to re-learn vision control and scouting since i started playing again this year. While my understanding of the ingame mechanics has improved a lot, i still feel like i'm very useless on many maps and in a lot of situations, and therefore are unable to even attempt to carry the game - i simply do not have a idea what i could do to improve our odds of winning.
