Please pardon me because I am an old man and computer ignorant. But I discovered something that might help someone else. I have been playing at around 400 ping. I probably have been for ages; I didn't know anything about ping until I read something recently. So... I got into my processes and changed WOT from "normal" priority to "high" priority. Presto. 16 ping. I hope this helps someone.
I live in the midwest (Nebraska) and am considering installing this. Before I waste a lot of time, I had a few questions. The biggest problems I've had with WoT center around lag/ping spikes and arty trash. Some of the connectivity is my ISP but some isn't and thats why I started this thread. For players who live in the CST US; I'd appreciate your insights on any stability, ping/lag/latency issues in AW v WoT if any? I've got 9600+ games in WoT and am enjoying WoWS but I well remember that 7,000+ of my WoT games were played on a computer where a 14 fps was a good thing and belo
I usually play east server and my ping is around 30-40 ms at most 50ms..but I log in today this afternoon and its jumped to over 80-100 ms for east and 178-250ms for West..anyone else getting this, I'm contacting my ISP as I type this post. Anyone else having that promblem? I'm thinking maybe predownload for the patch maybe ? Update: according to my ISP they are not showing any ping loss at all..so I'm thinking WoT?
This is the lowest ping I've seen all day today, I keep hovering in the 300s and breaking into 400s regularly and occasionally jumping to 999, tank-unresponsive-for-several-seconds. I usually play with 130-180 ping, but this is just not enjoyable anymore, I've tried getting doubles done, but I just can't hit shots at anything that moves with this sort of delay. I'm hoping it's worked out tomorrow, I don't know where the problem is at the moment, I checked the router, and there is no significant traffic going through it. But this pretty much ruined my games tonight. edit: 1day stats ju
