I don't play the ISU lately as much as I did when I first got it, and maybe because I'm not taking advantage of the TD meta. Just in case some people weren't aware of this, here goes: Description (with some redacted notes) Developed as a J.V. Stalin Academy of the WPRA Mechanization and Motorization Program project totally not a napkin design. According to numerous sources that nobody made up, it started in 1949 so was silly putty. The vehicle had a forward placed engine bay (frontal engine fires anyone?), and the fighting compartment in the back, something unseen in a Soviet tank. What is it about this tank that makes it so controversial? Is it the gun? Is it the armor? Is it the mobility? Is there a reasonable way to balance this tank without turning it into an E5? IMO the mobility needs to be toned down. Let it keep its speed so that it can get into the fight faster and be that assault gun that it is clearly designed to be, but it shouldn't be able to turn as well or even better than a medium tank at close range.

So, yet another Soviet premium tier 8 heavy tank is coming soon. Because there's never a lack for them. Will it be any good compared to existing Soviet tier 8 heavy tanks like the IS-6, IS-3A, IS-5 and IS-3. And for arguments sake, compared to the Chinese 112, WZ-111 and 110 (because they're pretty much the same deal)

Hey all, I don't believe there's a topic on this tank yet (or maybe I didn't load enough other pages) so here is the copy of my thread on the NA forums. Matilda IV. Recently i bought the tier 8 Soviet cruiser the "Chapayev". I 'm wondering about the philosophy of you to make this cruiser work better. It feels like a BB platform with DD guns, these guns are difficult to use them in higher tiers unless the RNG is good and your fires add some damage. Mobility (turning circle) makes it hard to chase destroyers and avoid torpedoes. How should i use this cruiser because so far it feels inferior to the tier 7 "Schors" ?

Hello everyone, it's AGK47. I hope I'm putting this in the right place, but if it isn't in the right place, I'll have to get it moved. I suggested adding the flags and state emblems of the individual Soviet Socialist Republics on the official forums. It would be interesting to add these to Soviet tanks. I got two spare 3e skill soviet crews, a heavy crew of 4 and a medium crew of 4, and i dont know what to do with them (the medium crew is sitting in rudy atm, the heavy crew in baracks) I already have a lot of soviet tanks, so im not entirely sure what to buy back: Im thinking atm of getting either Obj 416 or Obj 430 v2, but the heavy crew? I already have an IS-2B so IS is pointless, i sold IS8 twice, i hated Obj 268 and SU-101, i rage sold T62 (and got a Obj 140), KV-1s might be good, but putting a 90% 3e skill crew in a t5 i will prob play 10 games? arty perhaps? (haha, no, fo with arty) So

Hey guys at Wotlabs. I've just gotten the IS-7 yesterday, and I have to say, it's not been fun to play. Why, you may ask? People enjoy saying, "IS-7 armor is so ez to use just point it foward", but that almost never works out? Why? Magnetic lower plate weakpoint. Seriously, out of all of my attempts to keep this thing covered, people still can see and pen it. When I do get into a perfect positions, turns out none of the enemies decide to go where I am. Any tips to use IS-7? Is it a tank I just suck at and should give up on? P.S. I feel like I contribute more in the IS-8

IS-1 armor at tier 6. 120mm front. tier 6. RiP tier 4-5 tanks. So curiosity finally got the better of me and I bought the new iteration of the KV-1S' at tier 5. I was not particularly a fan of the old '1S' as I have always preferred the KV-2 for my mid tier lol's and death fingering so I have no desire to play the KV-85. Apprehensive at first, I kitted it out, fitted it with the 122 and placed my old KV-4 crew in it... Holy shit! This thing is as much a beast now as it ever was at tier 6. I played 10 or so rounds with the 122 in more of a traditional "heavy" role; peaking, scraping, pushing and I found it kinda meh, with a funny derp shot

If it is ST-I or ST-l, I'll probably never know. Don't care either, because this beast > World of Tanks. I like to compare it to the E-75, which is the one of the other 3 actual heavy tanks you can find in tier 9. The ROF buff from 8.7 to 10.17 seems pretty big to me for a T7 Td with very good accuracy and fast aim time and high camo values and good speed. Depression still sucks and maps are funnels, but invisible 2941 dpm with rammer just has to be useful.

Has anyone played this game? I bought a founder's pack and its really cool. It's very similar to Metro 2033 and the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series, but its currently in beta and only PvP. They have a timeline where free roam is coming soon with perks and PvE against mutants.
