The AMD RX Vega 56 and 64 graphics cards launched today. Most of the online retailers in the US who had them in stock are already sold out. All the initial reviews seem to show they are good competition for the GTX 1070 and GTX 1080. The game benchmark results show that some games they do better than the GCX 1070 and GTX 1080 while in other games they do worse than the GXT 1070 and GTX 1080. So, I fired up MSI afterburner, enabled logging, and ran a pair of replays through multiple video settings. What I found is that a GPU with 2 GB of video memory should be adequate for playing World of Tanks at 1920x1080 resolution. The maximum memory used by the GPU was about 1.5 GB. Some notes: M
