I occasionally get flak for 'camping'. Yesterday, I got into a heated argument, during and after the game, with a medium Brit tank in a tier III affair on Rockfields. I was partly to blame. I, driving a Valentine AT, headed for my favourite opening spot only to find this guy there. Although there was room for both of us, I upbraided him brusquely and told him in no uncertain terms to bugger off and fight. Which, amazingly, he did, albeit nursing a grudge. I have come a long way from being a red shitter where now I'm getting teal recents. If you stream I have probably bugged you in your stream at some point about getting better xD. Starting to always 1 mark tanks and now am up to 4 "2 marked" tanks I had some of the best game I have ever had today, but I felt like I fucked up alot in them and would like to learn what to do better. If anyone could review one of the games and give me tips i would appreciate it alot. So I'm a "decent" player who hasn't had great luck with clans. My first clan, KIMBO, would up disbanding due to internal politics, and my last clan, NAG, promised constant improvement and competitive battles but stagnated in a similar manner. I really just want a place where I can log onto the TS and it's full of skilled people who have a good time playing the game. When I first joined this forum a few months ago I was pretty terrible at this game, a proud citizen of tomatotown. Since then, by getting more experience and by reading the advice of the purples here, I managed to find my way up to green overall and dark green recent wn8, and recent wr% that fluctuates between dark green and light blue (52-55%). Hey All, This is a replay of T110E4 game I had on Stalingrad. It is not a good game. Please review for feedback. I would like to lead in with what I was thinking. We were pushing the 1-2 from North to south. The T110E4 is not the best front line tank and with its longish reload time is not a good brawler. First off a huge thank you to the mentors that have worked with me in the past. Without you I would still be below 300. I am currently grinding the T-34-85. Overall I am around 400 w8 w/ 10K battles avg damage is around 300ish. Roughly 50% of my hits don't do damage/pen and my survival rate is around 26%. I don't yolo and play solo most of the time. I cannot afford a prem account. Fps is good 40-60 fps but I suffer from lag spikes with an avg ping in the 120s+. Can't follow streams due to only getting 3-5 seconds at a time before buffering for 2-4 min. I have little to no confidence in m

Hi all, This is my first post on the forums so please excuse me if I have been a bit of a noob about it. So as a bad/average player (link to stats- http://wotlabs.net/na/player/Tiny_Teddy ) who is trying to improve I have a question about how mods will affect my improvement. In particular I have been using Sela's modpack with Deegie's sight. One of the features of this sight is that it shows arrows to tanks outside of the field of view (behind you etc.) with a colour code of green for tanks which have no shots on you and red for tanks which have a clear shot on you. Hello! Update 6/17: I will get this done before I leave for summer break the 1st of july. After reading Kewei's article on how to get better at World Of Tanks i have decided to play 1000 games in the T-62A to see what kind of improvement I get. At the moment I have stagnated and am sort of lacking focus on what I want to do and I find that chasing new tanks all the time is increasingly frustrating. The goal of this post is to share what I have learned since I started playing WOT, and the factors that I think were most responsible for my improvement. While my stats don’t reflect it yet, I have reached the point where I can consistently average 2500-3000 WN8 in a session, provided I follow the method outlined below. When I play on Wi-Fi or when tired or distracted, things don’t go as well. For my first 8000 battles or so, I learned primarily through trial and error. Greetings from the exotic SEA server, where English seems to be an elusive language in every battle. I haven't posted here much but I would like to offer my humble opinion on some tactics that helped me transcend light green into teal. Now, I know this isn't new info and my play is a work in progress, seeing that purple is still out of my reach. But hopefully, this post can help those who are still struggling to break the dark green ceiling. Scrubby play: Ridge fighting in a Centurion 7/1. As shown by my signature, i am a bog standard world of tanks pubbie player. I would like to increase at least to the mid 50%s in terms of Winrate. I watch alot of vids, from QB and the like, and i understand the game mechanics. I am doing my best to improve, and i would appreciate any suggestions on improving my statistics. PS, what is a good baseline for a "decent" player, in terms of WN8? I run xvm in game and would like to be able to discriminate the good, the bad, and the ugly using the team statistics.

So it was suggested that I add a few recent replays to get some feedback, criticism, and perhaps have an epiphany in regards to my skill progression. I have a lot of theories about why I am playing this bad... I was in weeks past blaming bad days, bad tanks, bad teams... But I realize its not that... Heya, I'm trying to improve my skill level in WoT, I want to learn to play better, past the 2400 WN8. Recently I have not been doing so well, averaging 2000 WN8 for a day for about 3 weeks now and my overall dropped from 2600. I want to learn to play past these limits, not just WN8 wise. I want to be able to be more critical on the battlefield, be able to carry teams most of the matches if not all of them. I tried to read map guides and tank guides but it only took me so far. Hey guys, I'm still relatively new to this game but have managed to get on the fast track to good@tonks through my buddy Brutal_Cupcake (who is a much better player than me). However, Brutal doesn't really "try" to be good@tonks, I don't think, he just is. I'm not like that, everything to me is a formula, an algorithm, data, etc. and this has all accumulated over time to give me a relatively good grasp of the game, but I have to really try at it. What a great Monday! My first foray into 52% and a >1200! Thanks solely to this website and the tankers that frequent it; your interactions, guidance, vids, and replays have shown me a whole different WOT world. Primary thanks from me goes to Allurai and his domination within the T49, which inspired me to watch a TON 'o T49 vids/replays. By paying attention to the tools that the T49 offers you, I have learned to really pay attention to camo/draw/view. That TD has paid dividends to me in all my matches. So after my worst session pretty much ever last night, barely breaking 1k WN7 over 12+ games i had a bit of an epiphany. Im not nearly as good as think i can be. Thing is, i want to continue to raise my WN7 every day. I have been getting close to blue forever now and want to push into it. but you know what? I AM NOT FUCKING LEARNING ANYTHING! I am stuck in a "stats trap" of being so afraid and frustrated when i don't hit what i feel should be my minimum stats for the night. 2k WN7 and 60% is what i EXPECT myself to do. Often i do better, sometimes i do worse... or much worse...
