As a 2500+ Wn8 and 18k battles playing just WoT, I thought I would totally ace out and shit on scrubs by trying out L.o.L. I was sorely mistaken the first time around. I found myself fumbling with dead last in scores in PvE (Bots) and I didn't enjoy myself like I did in WoT. I want to try it again when I get back from vacation and this time with a organized train of thought so... Applying the leverage of being pros in WoT, I ask these series of questions to you. Yes, also answer the meaning of life. I'm kidding, please don't. I've recently taken a look at my stats and noticed something. My recent winrate is much higher relative to my recent wn8. I noticed this same phenomena about 8 months ago. When my avg. was 50%, my recent was 56%! However, my recent wn8 around the time was only 1,200. However, after that, my winrate dipped within comparison to my wn8. Why does this happen? What does it mean? My wn8 NEVER spikes like my winrate has (like now).

So today we had a landing battle at the same time as this one, so the players not picked for the primary one jumped into this one. This is what happened: http://wotreplays.eu/site/1414688#airfield-charcharo-e-100 (You may want to jump until the 5:30-5:00 mark or so). So our team completely slaughtered them at first sight, being only 6 tanks they put up a damn good fight, until the numbers overwhelmed them. As I was muddling through another series of battles in the Centurion the other day I decided to examine the tech tree for the Cent 7/1 to see what kind of stupid amounts of Free XP I had to drop to make it bearable (147k, if you were curious). As I stared in shock and horror at my calculator, I realized that WG could fix the relative mediocrity of the Centurion 1 and the suicide-inducing stock grind of the 7/1 with one simple move. Make the B Barrel available on the Centurion 1. That would bump up the base DPM of the Cent to ~1,770 (still not great, but better) but more important -

So apparently there is a nation vs. nation battle mode coming (per FTR) ..... I haven't seen any info yet on whether or not this is a mode you check like encounter, etc, or a standalone mode. (ed. - though I think the info is available) Either way I can see this having an impact on MM queues/battle composition for those who opt out, particularly on low pop servers like NA West. I can only presume that this, as with some other new features, is a response to "that other game"; however, the devs can't have missed the amount of trouble this sort of battle causes for the MM.
