The new tier 10 lights are often discussed at length, but I don't hear much about the tier 9s. I like to have at least one tank of each class at each tier. What are your thoughts on the tier 9 light tanks? Which of these tanks seem like they would be keepers?

due to the complete changes in the American light medium hybrid line the XP on the T49 WILL not help you get either the T54E1, T69, or Sheridan; so all that XP will be free XP if you don't get the E1 ASAP so if you're half way through like i am, you SHOULD grind it out ASAP

CAVEAT: This a WoT Blitz Post I haven't touched the T49 in a long time. The last time I did my stats were horrendous in it. I decided (after playing around with the new German TD line) to get back in it and give it ago. Call me silly but I've had the best results playing it like a supporting Medium or Light tank. Let me know what you think!

Hello everyone, First off: new user here on the forum so again I'm a complete newbie ... Also a little background: I'm not a big gamer. I found this WoT through a colleague that told me about it. We have fun playing together which is how I started off. So I don't have any first person shooting experience at all, nothing, seriously! Needless to say, the first 5k battles I really sucked. Hello Everyone, I haven't played much since 9.0 and just recently decided to get back into things. I generally like to just focus on one tank and play it all the time. (I like leveling up a crew.) In the past I've used mainly the T49, ELC AMX, and I was just getting back into the VK 2801. I love all these tanks because they've been able to carry a lot of team. (I mainly solo pub). Recent updates have taken away a lot of the advantages of these tanks though. It seems like every updated map takes away the great scouting spots. And the TD firing bonus hurt my play-style too. (tho

So, I totally fell in love with this thing when I started making my way up the new German TD line. Why is there no thread for it? If you like the T49, you'll love this little thing. Really, it feels a lot like a T49. While it doesn't have a turret, it has epic traverse angles, is decently fast and has a good view range and camo value. The gun is really good for a tier 4 too. It has nearly the same DPM as the T49 (same ROF, 5 less alpha with AP), slightly better aim time and much better accuracy. Depression is good, but elevation is kinda sad.
