  1. Post some lesser known tips here. Horizontal Stabilization can be enabled without having to turn on dynamic camera along with it.
  2. Hello! I am a new player that has been reading your tips. It is going really well for me. I have ~55 % win rate so it has really helped me! I want to know what equipment I should use on the Panzer III which is a mobile medium tank at tier 4. You can skip the text below if you don't want to read it. I can now afford to buy my first tier 4 tank. I am going to get the Panzer III which looks like a very good medium with nice armor, good mobility and good 5cm gun. I like to play in a platoon with 2 comrades of mine and we all play the German nation with the same tech-tree. We are aim
  3. Hi, I have played the su-122-54 for 103 games now, and I absolutly love the tank. Great mobility , great camo, combined with awesme DPM. So I decided to go for 3 marks. This is not my first time, I have 3 marks on type64 , bulldog, su12244 and T-10. ( got them in 2 days when I put my mind to it) But he su-122-54 is starting to prove really hard. I average 2647 damage right now and 548 avg assist. My mark is only at 86,95 percent. So , I need tips, are there certain things that help? turning of gamemodes? platoonng with light tanks? do I need to change my mindset? in what way? I have al
  4. Arty guide status update: haven't even started. Busy with final exams. Won't start working on it until Dec. 17... You might want to go through the different pages to search for the actual tips. As you know, posting arty guide on WoTlab forum attracts a lot of love. Hi everyone! Artillery is one of the most unique class of tanks to play. Artillery is a very powerful class of vehicles and can often determine the outcome of a battle, whether people like it or not. It doesn't matter if one is an experienced artillery player or has just begun to explore this fantastic class, di
  5. So.... Basically, i have about 8k battles and im a slightly above avg player. now, i mainly play light tanks. so, i noticed i usually play poor in some tanks and better in others. And i know, as many others do, you want a balanced light tank gameplay. Thats why i would really appreciate some good tips and advices. Also, take in mind that i play either as a sniper or as an agressive spotter. EDIT: i struggle alot playing the Chinese lights and practicly this is the first time EVER looking for help on maps and tank... i play as a agressive and passive scouter, and simply sniper. Unless i've l
  6. I've been a lover of the tanks and that explains my huge 30k battles, but still mediocre Win performance. Lately with these missions - I've been wanting to play RT more seriously since I've never really played them before with any amount of dedication. To my horror and frustration - I find them still impossible to play with any amount of consistency. I've even gone and installed that RT mod, which helps a little - but still the aiming is aggravatingly impossible to learn. What I'd like to know - is - is there actually a way to aim reliably with RT - or are you completely at the mercy of RNG; w
  7. Hi Ladies and Gentle peoples!! The story so far..... I started this post back in August and since then it has became a little outdated so I thought I would redress it for you, but first please allow me to introduce myself. I am Sir Havoc, otherwise known as Pete or -APEFACE-. I am from the South East Coast of England, I am 33 years old. I have been with my partner Hannah for 9 years and together we have a little boy Frankie who is 20 months old and can sometimes be seen and heard in my videos. The turning point... I started making tutorials because I grew sick and tired of a BS att
  8. I didn't have the time to make the arty guide this winter break, but I thought I owe it to the clickers whom I promised a guide... I've thought long and hard about revealing some of my positions because I was worried that people will wise up and make it harder for me to click. But, since university has started and I won't be playing for a while, why not release this! It doesn't matter if people know where I like to click, they are gonna get clicked anyways! It's basically impossible to avoid good artillery players' shots lol!!! There's a person who private messaged me in-game, and I pr

  10. Hi guys! It has been months since I posted a tips thread on how to play arty. As I promised then, since my final exams finished yesterday, I am starting to work on a detailed-artillery guide to help new struggling "clickers" to "click" better! So far, I've decided to partition my guide into 3 modules: 1). Principles of Arty Gameplay + General Clicking Advices 2). Evolved Clicking (more refined strategies of arty gameplay to help you survive against light tanks and mediums, and tips to improve your hit ratio) 3). Advanced Clicks (strategic approaches that I take in end-game situatio

  12. [WoT UNI] Putting it all together guides to a great game Hello welcome to World of Tanks University, Putting it all together. This series is about putting together everything learnt from Boot Camp and The Art of Series to help deliver a outstanding performance. We start with a game in the MT25, a Tier 6 Light Tank. The map is Tundra and it is a Tier 9 game. I manage to get a Top Gun and over 2000 damage but you will see I made it look easy by good use of the minimap and tactical thinking which I explain in the commentary. Please take a look and remember to subscribe and like if y

  15. I am looking for tips on grinding because I haven't done an actual grind in forever. When I get back home I am planning on grinding out the Indien panzer to the Leo 1. I would like to get tips in general about grinding and hopefully tips on the line. Also is it worth spending free xp on this line or is the Leo PTA playable stock?
  16. Hello ladies, hi guys, googling some WoT topics I found a post on http://angryjoeshow.com about WOTLabs. In simple words: Stay away from the WoT forums and join WOTLabs. At first I was very skeptical about a website encouraging those annoying "statistic prophets" – but luckily, I was wrong. I read a few topics giving really useful tips. Well done, everyone. I don't consider myself a good player. I only play because my son is such a huge fan of WoT. But with time, I finally have a tier 9 tank in my garage. My biggest problem is that too often I play emotionally and irrationally. Some
  17. Hi everyone- really trying to improve here so I thought I'd post two of my replays that in general, probably reflect my play for better or worse. Any thoughts and criticisms would be incredibly helpful. http://wotlabs.net/na/player/CrazyHeinz http://wotreplays.com/site/352705#steppes-crazyheinz-t29 http://wotreplays.com/site/352677#tundra-crazyheinz-vk_4502_p_ausf_b My thoughts are I generally leave myself to multiple lines of fire (crossfire) and that I get too aggressive and put myself in untenable positions. Thanks! -Crazy.
