As I'm about to start the grind in both the french heavy line and T57 Heavy line I'd like to understand better the mystical world of autoloaders. I don't want simply to know what to do, I want to understand why I should do it, so I'd like to talk in depth about this with you good players as all alone I can't figure it out since I'm basically still a noob, much more so in the field of autoloading which is totally obscure to me. I'm reading all the guides I can find about the tanks of this two lines and other autoloading vehicles and I find this kind of words quite often: "as third piece

Most of you have heard some players discuss the camouflage values of a tank and possibly they threw around some numbers 16.87%/12.65%/3.34%. If you have no clue what those numbers mean, this is the guide for you. If you have ever driven (or seen someone drive) your (their) AMX 13 90 on the Malinovka field while spotting tonnes of enemy tanks and not getting counter-spotted, without understanding why, this is the guide for you. I will in this guide explain what the camouflage values mean, how they affect your view range in game and how the spotting range is calculated. I will NOT discuss th

But in battle, my mini map does not increase its view area nor do I seem to light up targets for myself over 500 on the regular map. I can si

ok not sure if this is the right spot or not, but I had a questio about the view circle that is on many of the XVM map mods- I understand the draw box, but is the circle my view range or the range at which I can be spotted? also does it consider just the stock tank or a buffed tank (crew, binocs etc)?

So there are a lot of posts on this forum saying that view range 'should be abused.' I'm just wondering how much bonus to put into it as I've also heard that the maximum view range is 500m. My question is whether that 500m effective view range? For example if you manage to get your view range to 550 (in a patton with bonuses lets say) and your enemy has lets say a 20% camo bonus. Would your view spotting distance of your enemy be 400m (20% off of a max of 500m) or 440m (20% off 550).
