  1. Please feel free to post your own art I'd love to see it. I am pretty rusty these are my first attempts at drawing since high school and it shows lol Vote them up if you want to see more! T57 in progress---I am getting fatigued on this one...I was trying to work on my shading and got the gun how I liked it. But the rest still needs a lot of work and drawing tracks sucks big time. I'm going to start over on the tracks they look like crap...I want to crumple this one up and throw it away lol I got better stuff to work with but I just cant shade like i use to..and looking up to the computer for a reference is a killer on the back... AMX 50B in progress And finished...maybe i'll add grass and background later...a lot of work. And here is the finished drawing, not my best work haha! But drawing is all practice and I am out of it. And all I had to use was a clicky pencil so shading was hard.

Very simple, what is the best layout of equipment for the 50b, i plan to use vstab and gld for sure but the question is optics or vents. optics will help later in the game when trying to carry however anything that helps with aim time and mobility (while still partially helping vision) is almost essential on the french heavies.

THE END: Overall Stats after 95 games: WR: 62% (59 wins) DPG: 2692 KPG: 1.54 Survival: 37% --- Previously on wotlabs: Purpose: Challenge and test my skills with the AMX 50B, my second tier 10 tank, for it's first 100 games, all solo. Get feedback and suggestions from you guys Rules: 100 solopub games Played in batches of 5, min 5 batches per week Lesson/Recap on each match World of Tanks Statistics on each Goals: (feel free to give me suggestions on these. I want something hard, but achievable) 57% WR 2600 DPG 35% Survival Setup: --- Batch 1 (In the order in which I played them): #5 - (Win) Northwest, NE spawn: Played passively on the week side. Team won without me. #4 - (Win) Redshire, N spawn: Team send only three east, so I had them come back to defend base. Was tought to find a place to fight, and I traded equally. Tried to get some flanking in, but the enemy was safe from my direction, and the game was won before I had an impact. Late game, I got myself into a position where I was vision pinned. Sigh. #3 - (Loss) Stalingrad, S spawn: Went west, and pushed with a strong force, winning the side, though missing some key shots. Once they started capping the close match, I didn't go back directly enough, and we lost. Useless damage... #2 - (Win) Sacred valley, SW Spawn: Went NW, and put out an excellent clip. Then noticed crabEatOff in trouble, and also that I was in his way. I tried to take a shot for him while getting out of his way, and ended up losing all my health because I did it in a really dumb way. Also, crab critiqued my agressive play. Will try to play further back. #1 - (Win) Erlenburg, S spawn: Decided to experiment with H1 Medium spot. I wondered if I could use it. Shot twice, and lost all but 63 of my health. I escaped and repositioned, but then noticed an E4 going for one of my TDs. I came in behind him to clip him out, but missed the tracking shot, shot into good armor, and he reloaded before my fourth shot. I don't think I should have run away. I just should have took my time with the three shots that I needed. Played like shit, was hardcore carried. Not used to the reload yet. I'm either not ready to fire, or I stay out too long.   4. Hello WoTlabs replay viewing community, This is my own personal thread of terribad replays for your viewing displeasure. Here I will post replays of me failing hard, and if you want to review them, please go ahead. All I ask is that you are honest and constructive. I know I am not a good tanker, so telling me I suck is redundant. Hopefully feedback from this thread can help make me less bad. I would like you to focus on initial deployment, hp trades, and map awareness, because for French tanks these are perhaps the most important skills to have. Of course anything you can point out is helpful, but I feel I struggle most with the first two. I will lay out my thought process in major situations so you can gain some insight as to why I did what I did. WARNING: This thread may contain links to replays with me playing the Lorraine 40t. These replays may be graphic and hard to watch. You have been warned.

    AMX 50Bae

    Thanks to tourney/cw gold, I will be completely skipping the AMX 50 120 and will be jumping straight into the 50B, a tank that has been on my shopping list since it's release that I only made decent progress on grinding towards about 2 months ago. I do however understand that I will be missing out on the learning of playing the tier 9 version but am pretty set on my decision. So what tips do you 50B drivers have regarding equipment/consumable loadout and tactics? Which camo patterns look the sexiest?
  7. So, Im supposed to be terrible in my AMX 50B. I am looking for some unicums who are great at the tank to give me some reviews of my replays in it, and maybe later on play with me in it and give me some tips on positioning. my main problem with it is not knowing where to go, and were to play it. general map positioning is where im worst at, when I get into a good place I can generally hold out, but getting into the right position is where I stumble. games: note, I have just played a set of games in the 50B, and have uploaded them. no sweet picking, a set of games all played in a row. http://www.wotreplays.com/site/980487#self (Northwest, 5797 damage, win) http://www.wotreplays.com/site/980485#self (Cliff, 3700 damage, win) http://www.wotreplays.com/site/987403#team (South coast, 3701 damage, loss) http://www.wotreplays.com/site/987438#hidden_village-asassian7-amx_50b (South coast, 1607 damage, win) http://www.wotreplays.com/site/987442#airfield-asassian7-amx_50b (Airfield, 4263 damage, win) the Hidden village game is a perfect example of what im doing wrong, I had far far too much indecision at the start, and the rest of the match failed as a result. this is literally a string of games I had in a row in my 50B. feedback on my gameplay would be nice. if you want some games where I did worse (in honestly, looking at this set of games they actually look like im doing fine in it... lol) then I can find some where I know I did crap.or play some more and maybe do crap.
  8. So i got my AMX 50 B not long ago, and haven't played very many games in it yet because i feel completely inept anytime i get into it. I struggled a bit with the 50-120, but generally did ok. But the one problem i seemed to consistently have with the 50-120 is now even worse with the 50B. Simply, I don't feel i can effectively get my gun in the game. I am @ work, so i can't poast replays yet, but can later today or tonight. The advantage of an autoloader is burst damage. So IMO the worst thing i could possibly do is pull out from cover and trade shots with someone who has adjacent hardcover. Them pulling back to hardcover after shooting totally nullifies my advantage of burst. Am i wrong in this? Due to the weak turret and 30mm side armor, I get caliber overmatch trying to sidescrape from any gun on the field, so that's out. The tank is so friggin big that it's hard to find good sniping spots without getting instagibbed by multiple tanks. That leaves me 2 options, that i have been trying to do, but with little success. Option 1, terrain abuse trying to keep cover but get in some good flank shots. I can "kinda" do this on some maps, but size of the tank and shit turret armor makes it hard to flank. Option 2, is letting others spot for me and abusing view/draw range to not get spotted while i snipe from 450ish meters out. Is my mistake possibly TRYING to get my gun in the game? Should i just chill at the base for a couple min and try and find someplace to go? Should i go help right off the bat with the main push? Should i complain that XVM gives us only a 75% chance of winning, claim it's hopeless and suicide into the nearest lake?(lolz). I want to get some replays up but can't as of yet. I will however say that my biggest weakness is heavy type tanks... I play mainly mediums and "invisitank" style Td's. Is there some major piece of the puzzle im missing here, is there an option for getting my gun in the game i didn't cover really? Or do i have the basic ideas of how to use this thing and just suck at implementing them on this tank? Should i work at getting a different tank to learn tier 10 in cause the 50B is gimped? If it's me, im cool with that, i just want to improve.
