  1. what are the best positions for high tier mediums? i often feel like i get killed in my tier 10 meds because im not in the right spot at the right time.
  2. Well, a bit tired of 30b atm, tried to 3 mark m48, had terrible 5-6 games in it right from the start. Decided to try 140/62a again, because they are just so much more fun to play. Seem to be better dmg+spotting dmg wise, well over 4.3k together on average, not enough but close, at least it shall be moving up and it does to some degree. Like these from 2 days: Current MoE progress: But I still keep having shit 1-2k games in it before making up with 5-6k one and this throws me back just to much. The question, how you eliminate those bad games was asked few times on this forum before and I've read it all etc, even figured out, that having shorter session while soloing the same tank only like 10 games max gives me the best results, still, even if its not 15:3 lost game but actually something like 11:7 win, I somehow fail to see, when its right time to push/reallocate to find juicy high HP targets and somehow keep having those ~2k games way to often. Watching almost all replays from xena/poltto (I ignore only e50, there were enough from last month already), streams, recorded/streamed Chuck Norris tournament sessions, making sure my crews/eq. are best possible, etc, but still can't myself. Would some of you maybe review few of my bad games from a session, just to tell me, every single fck up/bad decision/badly aimed shot/etc, which you spot? I tried with 30b on Tape Study, it helped me to focus and improve at it, still no one reviewed a single game from there so far =/ Thanks for reading, will post a fresh session, if I'm not as tired as today, in case anyone would be interested to help me out, would be awesome!
  3. I have my 6 skills crew for over 2 years right now, which I use pretty seldom in my type 59 . 121 and 110 are researched but I never bothered to buy them. I'm playing 121 and 113 on test servers every time for at least couple of games, still could never get in love with either of them. I liked t-34-1 a lot (2nd best t7 after t-20 for me, still in my garage but crew-less), liked also t-34-2, because the extra mobility and speed you get in it makes it fun to play, esp. if you are top tier, even though it feels like a downgrade for its tier. wz-120 was not that bad as well, it was always fun to trade shots with other 320 alpha meds. The only thing, which drove me crazy is insane stupid troll gun, where you often would miss almost fully aimed shots on cupolas of e75's and such at 30-40m range 4 times in a row (couple of those games were my final decision to sell that crap after 121 was researched). I liked wz-131 a lot, even though it required you to spam to much prem. ammo for my taste, hated wz-132, because its like over 9000 times worse for its tier (IMO same tank with way less effective HP and higher MM spread). Now ~2 years after I researched 121 and still didn't bought it, what would you do with that crew? Retrain for t-34-1 or something? Try to get in love with wz-120? Wait for a new medium branch?
  4. Hey there, the title says it all basically, but here are some thoughts and what I've been doing so far. 3 years ago I had 1.1k dpg in type 59 and was trying to get it up to 1.5k (wot forum post with stats), now its at 1.6k or so. 2 years ago I was working to get my t10s up to 2.5k dpg, now I'm trying to push em to 3k and still don't have it on a single tank yet (50m and bc are 2.9k+ though). I was trying to get 3d mark in BC but gave up at some point never breaking past 92-93% or so, then accuracy nerf came and it feels even harder to achieve. Then I tried it with 140, but hell, I managed to get only 2nd mark in it by averaging 3.6k over 50 battles with 3.8k over last 20 before I finally got it. On good days I do manage to average 3.6k+ first 1-2h, but as the session goes on (weekends mostly), it drops by 300-600 at the session end pretty consistently. I'm watching youtube/streams/replays of best playerers regular, and some of my own better games but I don't see that many mistakes myself to work on. I make sure that my crews/setup is pretty much the best as it can be (forums and videos). Some mistakes/differences I noticed so far: - I end up screwing somehow often by trying to get to a high reward spot, knowing, if their meds/lights will cross X or I don't get support, I could lose way to much HP and not being able to get back, aka being to aggressive early on, esp. in tanks like 215B/62a/50m ending often in me getting killed with under 2k dmg in first 2-3 minutes of the game or being 1-shot for the rest of the game. - I shoot to fast at the targets without fully aiming, often enough missing/not hitting the aimed spot, where as would I wait 1-2 sec longer I could take a well aimed shot at a weak spot. - I see a lot of better players, often ignoring arty, even when there are 3-4 of them on open maps and stick to the same spots longer, but also being able to take more shots because of that (or getting clicked faster in process), whereas I'm pretty paranoid if spotted and try to to back off and wiggle asap and just have close to a heart attack for the next 15 seconds. Not sure its wrong, but maybe not the way I do it. I could upload few replays of more recent sessions, have a replays thread on wot forums and here are my more detailed tank stats: vbaddict profile and open for suggestions. EDIT: DpG development in most played/liked T10s so far, most of them have 800+ games, FV 100+ only: Thanks!
  5. Available mid-afternoon - midnight so may suit late rising Euro who possibly can understand regional British accents better! Probably should have learned some of these basics by now but struggle in tonks that aren't specialist. Specifically would appreciate help with: 1. The art of bouncing and how to play "defensive" tanks. 2. When to attack, being passive on NA server and WoT is generally not good. 3. How to be a more active scout. Turning this scrublord greenie into a blue is likely your toughest job yet.
  6. Hey everyone, Is anyone willing to take low green scrub under their wing, and teach the fine art high tier medium game play? Please I need help.
