Something that puzzeld me just happened. I was in an M103 behind the windows in C3 on Himmelsdorf and a Bat-Arty kept pummeling me in the face dealing 450+ dmg per shot until I died. From the indicator I know that the Arty was in the J1/J2 area of the map, so no side shots. I don't play arty so I don't really know the trajectories their shots have, but how could he hit me? My guesses: He could hit every shot through the small window (because arty is inaccurate ) He was splashing on the wall above or below the window and somehow the splash reached me (but I thought the Bat-Arty didn't have that much splash damage...) The modelling of that window is not perfect and splash goes through as if it weren't there like on the rock in Windstorm Below you can see my impressive drawing skills that show a schematic of the thing. Hello all, I have come here wondering if there is anyone who knows how to model for WOT. I have looked into it before and apparently quite a few people outside of wargaming know how, but finding out who that is isn't the easiest to do. Now, you may or may not know me from my TRON skins, the first being for the ELC AMX, and ever since I made it, I have wanted to remodel the turret, changing it into one of an actual TRON tank, that way it would look much more like a TRON tank, and maybe even make an entire remodel. Now, to be clear I have no experience with modeling, however I thought this might be a fun way to get into it. Anyways, from what I understand there is a specific way to unpack wargaming's files, to be able to get access to the models, and change them or replace them, and that is what seems to be the most important step, I have not heard anything about a specific modeling software being needed. So, I am looking for, if possible, a comprehensive guide to opening/de-coding these files, what format the models are in and if any conversion is needed, what modeling software is best for this or is recommended, and how to wrap it all up again so that it works in the game.
