Looking to see if anybody can assist with redesigning our Navy unit logo? It has to be volunteer work, however I'd be happy to send you one of the first patches/decals once the Navy approves the artwork, and a small gold package as a token of appreciation. I have the components for the redesign and can email them to your personal email for review. PM for more details.
Hey there folks, Millardthemk and Teram here. We want to let the community know about some pretty cool stuff that’s been going on behind the scenes that’s just now ready to release to the public. As many of you know, it can be hard to find competent tutors for your WoT journey as you try to improve and grow was a player in a pretty complex game. We recognize this is a current problem, and that combined with a desire to help others and avoid homelessness has prompted out action, and the creation of group called “World of Tanks Tutors”. WOTT for short. We think it has the potential to be tremendously helpful and hope you agree. Our goals with WOTT are as follows: #1 Fill the teaching void and help player base group as it sees fit. Every game from HALO to WOW to Runescape has had groups available to assist players in their growth and skillz. Oddly enough for such a popular game, WoT has a complete void of options available for players who realize that rather than buy in game gold that they will spend and beno better off because of, they can convert that pocket change into improving their own personal gameplay abilities through instruction, review, and real-time gameplay analysis. All skills which translate into more exp, more credits, and more time playing a tank you want (more fun)! #2 Assist players who are tired of a skills or W/R plateau. Tanks is a cerebral shooter, making it easy to slip into a rut and cease improving. Sometimes all it takes is an outside opinion from a pro to bust out of your flatline and start climbing the skills ladder once again. If this sounds like the position you’re in--we can help. Rather than getting vague or spotty assistance via other routes we’re committed to giving you a great value for your time and money. #3 Help relieve some of the stat hate. The nasty reality of WoT is that players with lesser stats may be ridiculed and insulted regularly. This happens both on the public forums and in game, and while completely inexcusable, there’s really only one way to stop it--improve your stats. Unfortunately, if you’ve already played several thousand games overall or several hundred in a certain tank it can be almost impossible to bring the values up to your current playing level. For those who find themselves in this slippery slope of stats we toss you a lifeline of assistance. Via our platoon teaching packages we will show you the ropes in an easily understandable manner while at the same time increasing your W/R without you breaking a sweat. #4 Give you the tools for competitive group play success. As veterans of countless tournaments we’re in a unique position to be able to provide useful and experienced feedback for your team and can even host group training sessions and work with you to improve your team’s cohesion and tournament gameplay skills. While this service won’t please everyone(nothing does!), we hope it will be helpful to those who truly want to improve and are willing to spend the time and resources required for excellence. Both Millardthemk (Sam) and Teram (Michael) are long-time community members and we have seen a need that needs filling--and decided to step into the gap. Oh, we also enjoy eating meals occasionally and paying rent is also a plus. In conclusion, this is a service we’d love to see take off and assist players while at the same time remaining personal enough that folks are actually more than a name on a sheet, they’re real people who have an applaudable goal: To be good at tanks--and should be treated in a respectful, professional manner. Best wishes, Millardthemk and Teram Click HERE for a link to the website.
So... we just had our Labor Day weekend, and most of us who attend School, or just took a vacation from work/work seasonally are back to the grind again. What're you back to? How do you feel about it? Does it suck? Vent here a bit. Do you love it? Are you happy to be back? Tell us a bit about your passions. I'm back at Rutgers Camden right now, just got done my Discreet Mathematics class about a half hour ago. I feel good... I pissed a lot of time away this summer again and I'm happy to settle into a bit of a routine again, it helps me focus on life. I don't manage my time well enough, among other faults. I am very wise... but in mind only. In practice, I forget things, I make poor decisions, I neglect to take my own advise... as a result, I am effectively... 'unwise'. ;w; Despite the amount of information and knowledge I've been exposed to, I still fail to take it to heart and aspire to approach the limits of efficiency in application... I will always hate myself for the mistakes I've made and my failure to heed my own warnings... But... it feels like New Years feels to some others, and never feels to me... like a New Year. ^w^ I have said to myself to many times already, "I will do it right this time..." I don't trust myself any more. But for once, I am in good spirits, I feel no need to hinder my performance with more depressing thoughts. I'm going to pick up where I left off last year, aim higher than I did last year, and try not to slip on the execution! xP (I feel as though I halfassed all my classes last year... even though I somehow got 4 As and a B+. :B )
Assuming most of us have a job and work directly with customers (retail seller, customer service, tech support) our direct contact with the customer results in sometimes very strange events. This thread is for all the weird stories, the occasional derp customer or some crazy story from your everyday job. I'll kick it off: So I work at this big retail store called Fnac in Brazil (kinda like Best Buy, we work with electronics, books, dvds, and music; If you were to walk into my store it would be the closest thing you'd have to Best Buy here in Brazil) and started off as a seller but was promoted to tech support. I basically help people with their inability to comprehend Operating Systems of any kind and from time to time fix comps, I also do start ups of pcs bought by the customers (I install some programs and update the PC for them so they leave the store ready to go). Today this lady bought a laptop and asked of me the strangest thing I have seen to date. She asked me to install 2 erotic games besides the other programs i usually install and was very open about it. The thing that intrigued me the most was that she was a female (the first I've seen and she wasn't even pretty) who openely admitted she was addicted to such games. Well I usually do this at my work bench but the problem was that anyone could see what I was doing, thankfully only one of the games didn't show anything when downloading but the other one did. I didn't end up installing the second one cuz it required an account and there was some graphic cgi stuff goin on in the background and ninja closed it as soon as i saw it. Hopefully I wont have to go throught something like that again... Whats your story? Edit: will +1 for good stories
