Yesterday I went to the beach with my mother as girl and it was quite a nice experience though the water was rather cold. She thinks I do a pretty good job of passing for a girl which is great.

It is a fairly nice wig but it is in fact a wig. My actual hair is quite a bit darker with fleks of silver/grey and is quite a bit shorter still.

Well...things are getting hectic now

Basically me and my SO are moving in together.

So I'm having to scramble and find a job locally in order to afford an apartment because my family decided the year I've given them didn't earn me 1 month of help.

 

Feel like my head is going to explode from the stress. 

TL;DR don't have an evangalist/hyper religious family and be trans at the same time, they will make a move to give you the boot.

So I was finally able to schedule an appointment for HRT! Unfortunately they didn't have any openings until December 22 but at least it looks like insurance will cover it so yay.

Also I'm sorry to hear that Alesia. I suppose at least you'll get to spend more time with your SO and you'll be away from that environment which was making you very unhappy.

Thank you for welcoming me back. It means a lot. Yeah, not going to lie, been having a rough month. I feel like I'm going to be a horrible downer with this. But my mom died about a month ago. And being the horrible introvert I am, it's been hard getting out and talking to people either irl or online in any serious (or productive/civil to be honest, won't lie) way. So, that's why I've been so erratic to put it politely. But I'm getting better slowly. I've made great friends here.

So.... just wondering.... did anyone have experience with a family who would or did react badly to you telling them you're trans? if so what'd you do or what's your game plan?

I've also yet to meet a trans person irl (that I know of) so I can't comment on any interactions, but I've met a lot of gay/lesbians and only the flamboyant ones really annoy me... maybe I just hate flamboyance in general but seriously no one fucking talks like that naturally you fucklords

So...  uh..... how do y'all deal with voice stuff? like... pitch, resonance, rhythm, accent etc. 

How was it like growing your hair long? Or in other cases, whats your plan to grow it?

 

I've literally never grown my hair anything past slightly shaggy and I don't think I'd ever like long hair... short hair for me is always #GoTime... and less shampoo/conditioner.... and less air dry time.....

Well, found a place to stay.  Can't really afford it without borrowing money but it'll be done.

Edit:
Deposit is 550 and I can't afford utilities really but I don't care at this point.  Will still be able to work at the shop and eat and have internet, just not where I'll  be sleeping at first.

We can't do that.  It's very illegal. Hormones are controlled substances but I wish I could..I seriously wish I could baby.  It's gonna be okay..You're headed in the right direction.

Thanks :3 though now I'm curious as to what you can't say out loud.

Anyway the semester is finally over for me so yay which is a large part of why I haven't been on here or tanks for that matter very much at all for the past month or so. I have an appointment tomorrow where they are going to stick a sensor inside my stomach to get data to try to help with my acid reflux. Though because of it I haven't been able to take my normal medicine just piles and piles of tums and tums like things which has been much fun.
