I'm stuck at work for a long, long time, but here's some textual advice;

 

The size of a character's head is incredibly important. Larger relative to the body often gives them a more childlike appearance. Smaller, more adult. Making a head very tiny compared to their shoulder/upper body width can also give the impression that the character is huge (as is popular with superheroes/villains and such), which can play a lot into silhouette (another matter, but also very important in design not just for drawing).
