Scouts have low enough expected values and enough consistent potential damage out on the table to get up to three markings. At Tier IX and X with heavies and mediums you'll be scraping the heavens of skill/padding to reach two.

How easy do you think the Jag would be? Lower expected values for a TD, and 4 (which isn't all that hard to do ) is 4-5k damage.

I have 2 marks on most of the tanks I play regularly, working on 3.

I only have one mark on the T49 (I swear I didnt think i played it enough for it to be the first tank I got a mark on) and the T-54. Thats it. Im close to a mark on my FCM, 140, and 4202, that I know of. The 140 especially seems to take forever. I stopped playing my T-54 for now because its a money sink and I am trying to save for the T-62A, so no second mark on that for a while.

Straik and some of the other players he's with have 3 on the FCM, but they're at the top of the world in skill and I'd imagine not only that the RU server's values for MoE be much lower, but it would be easier to beat up in pubs and deal higher damage necessary to get them.

I had 3 marks on my E-100 for a little while when I first got it, but no longer (Was averaging 3800 damage). 670 damage gets you 3 marks in the 59-16? I have 1100 average damage in my 59-16 but only one mark :/ Stupid WG marks systems is stupid

The marks don't go away after you earn them, first of all... So I can't say I believe that you "had" 3 mark. The percentage tracks in real time, but the marks don't go away once you reach each milestone. Secondly, my average damage in the tank goes back further than the marks do, and I use to run the tank with the 57mm and as a more dedicated scout. Consequently my average damage is still quite low. If I had to guess, I'd say my recent average damage in it is somewhere in the realm of 1.2k with 1.5k+ spotting damage (which also counts toward the marks).

Current percentage on my T71 is 94%. Still 3 marks.

Same with me and the Type 64, hovers around 84-85 but never loses a star.

I've got one on most of the tanks ive played recently, (t9/10), got really close to the 2nd on the leo pta before i finished it (im at 83% or so). Maybe one day I'll go back and get it, but until then nowhere close. In reality its not that big of a challenge to get one if you just play the tank a lot and are competent, but the 2nd and 3rd seem to take a lot of actual careful play to get.

You sure you weren't confused by the German style marks? Where 1=3, 2=6, 3=9?
