Hey guys, I have been stuck at around 1800 recent wn8 for about 1500 battles now.  While 1800 wn8 is not bad I would like to be better.  I feel like a lot of it is my inconsistency and possibly not going to the right places at the right time or not knowing how to adjust to certain situations.  There are also days where I have high wn8s, over 3000, and then I have low days, around 1200 which I would like to get rid of the bad days.  Anyways I'm going to post a few films so if anyone could give me any tips to improve that would be great or if anyone wants to platoon even better. Appreciate the help guys.

Stay alive longer and dont derp or rush into situations without thinking. The longer you're alive the more damage you can do and the bigger impact you can have. That's what got me past the 1800s

Also, you're not dark green bro.

I'd say that the key is moving away from predispositions about your tank/map as having set roles/specific positions. What guides and reviews merely entail is a broad outline of what should be done, and you should aim to adapt to the situation based on what your tank's strengths are relative to the enemy at hand's, which position in that moment offers an advantage, their HP relative to your team's and your own, and how you can potentially enable both you and your allies' guns, while taking minimal damage yourself. The first step would be to always make sure that you, if you can, trade 2 damage points for every 1 taken in return. Also, try to make quick and aggressive advances early on, to start a "snowball effect" of falling flanks.

where your at now, is where you get into the serious advanced stuff. you have mastered where and how to shoot, where to go on maps, what to do once you get there. etc. it starts getting harder from here. you need to learn the most advanced parts of skill. its really hard to explain, but having things like advanced map knowledge. knowing every single nook and cranny of every single map. you need to know exactly when to push, when to retreat, fall to a better position, and fight from there, rather than dying in your position. and when its safe to stay where you are and take shots at other parts of the map (example, ruinberg, shooting down the middle road from field into city, when its safe to stay there and when you need to get your ass moving into the enemy base because city is being overwhelmed) this is all stuff that I don't even know fully yet.

most of it comes down to advanced map and tank knowledge, the ability to make correct decisions for the situation, watching the minimap and predicting what will happen on it, and reacting to changing events on the map. someone better than me can explain it better, but that is the general gist of it.

where you are now, you have all the basic knowledge of the game. the stuff that anyone should be able to do. fairly easily. you are at the position where just knowing the game isn't enough anymore. now you're getting into where it takes serious skill to do more. its all pure skill from here on out.

I have increased from 1.8K to 2K in the past months and I think it has more to do with diminishing the 1.2K sessions then increasing the 3K ones. I still make a lot of mistakes but tend to realize I made one sooner (I look at the minimap a lot more and usually have an escape plan) which allows me to relocate and get a few more shots of before we win or I die anyway. Never commit if you are not 100% sure you can kill what you will encounter. This results in no more 1.2K sessions.
