Awesome, thanks for that it was really helpful! I will look to zip them in the future but for now I quite like the 'live editing' that I can do with regards to configs so you will always have the latest version whenever you vist the download link :)

Oops... still hadn't changed the link, old links are adfly and new links are Google Drive.

Fixed the link so 9.16 should be available now

I haven't had chance to play 9.16 yet so there may be the odd little issue here and there but have to rely on Russian tester's for the time being!!

Damagelog might not get updated for a while as it's not that essential anymore... will see how I get on with the vanilla damage log

As I've stated also already in the damagelog-thread:

I really hope you update it as well, the vanilla options only really replace the totals for DMG done and blocked, plus adding assist, which was not available before.

But there is no actual log/list for incoming DMG in vanilla, which I would be missing then :(

Autoaim+ is working ok according to a tester though it does not work properly in 'Escort Mode'

Revised Autoaim+ will be coming soon that will implement safeshot (just less spammy in chat) that can be enabled by the user's discretion. It will be disabled by default

 

EDIT: Rumour has it that the 9.15.2 DamageLog works just fine but requires some 'cosmetic fixes' as it interferes with the vanilla one

Autoaim+ now working perfectly

Damagelog works but without gun sounds so waiting to find out what has changed (again!) - I thought the shift to AS3 meant less stuff would break...

I will probably keep updating the damagelog as I'm not overly keen on the huge amount of information now on the screen! I only have a semi-decent laptop to play on so it's not mega high resolution

I just wanted to try the Autoaim+, but it seems not to work for me.

I still have to click exactly on a tank to activate it. Also I get this error when starting the game:

Also I am having trouble with the BattleAssistant installed. It seems like if i am spinning my camera too far to the right once, then the camera position just freezes in that position for the rest of the battle...

Will look into this later, thanks for the feedback - thankfully I can edit this all in situ which makes life handy!

Edit: tweaked the config as a quick fix idea, give it a try now and see what happens

Will be updating some bits tomorrow as I wasn't happy with 'the look'

XVM config will be undergoing some very small changes and another fix to battle assistant at some point too

Today:

Updated XVM config for new camera line to make it look more 'vanilla' and traverse lines are here to stay I think, they are quite useful on the minimap!

Changed keys used for Battle Assistant, platoon chat is on G so moved key to J (middle mouse still works too!)

NEW and reworked 6th sense options

Reworked Zoom out mod to fix small issues

Modpack released without DamageLog - this will probably be excluded from all future modpack releases. The in-game options (whilst cluttered) are suitable and take a bit of time to get used to! The newer variants are so heavily protected that it's not worth my time to try and decrypt the python file and rework myself.

 

Updated online documentation and starting work on damagelog documentation for those who wish to continue to use it

Well the XVM damagelog works though it's not without it's bugs (typical of new feature) so I will wait for the next version of XVM to be released before I update any configs

Well I have my work cut out :P

Turns out WG have decided Autoaim+ is illegal in certain forms - so I have modified the config to apply to their ruling.

I already was using a new version prior to my absence (holiday) which included other handy features such as a reload notifier for autoloaders (stupidly useful for randoms if people pay attention but more useful in CW/SH).

The damage panel will be integrated at some point in the future but I have a lot of catching up to do from 3 weeks absence :P Not to mention the getting over 10 hours of jet-lag, tidying, washing etc that I have to do

Finally got to play a single game - which was enough for me to test the new ideas and configs, all seems ok so once I have tweaked the documentation and settings I will be releasing the new configs (which are just in time for 9.17 lol)

Right... finally caught up with all the XVM changes over the last 5 weeks where I haven't been able to do anything myself :P

New XVM config is released (modpack being updated as we speak)

Changes:

DAMAGELOG!! This is what most of you wanted, took me a while to get it to look right and had to edit many things including the English Translation files as there are many bugs in there.

Hitlog is back! I found a way to get both the DamageLog and Hitlog to work via a modular drag/drop config setup.

Alt keypress hides damagelog (when enabled, disabled by default) so you can also use the in-game customisable options. Alt keypress also shows full hitlog info so the screen isn't cluttered in-game. Took a bit of fiddling to get it looking ok with the additional fields used for remaining HP.

Carousel options all completely removed but kept modular system in place in the event that any of you want to use a carousel config from another modpack. It's a Vanilla design (my modpack) but you can add bits from other packs to make it less vanilla-ry

New bits and tweaks should be added when 9.17 is released.

The following will be changed/introduced:

  • Damagelog position changed to sit under vanilla options
  • Abilty to scroll up/down damage log by holding ctrl and using the mouse wheel

Some mods updated for 9.17, haven't had chance to test them yet but from what I have seen so far there should be no reason for them to not work.

Rest will be updated soon (sync is taking place now so will be a few minutes yet before available)

Utilities and modpack are syncing now so they should be available very shortly, I have omitted the zoom out mod from the modpack on a trial basis... I think it and battle assistant weren't liking each other very much - yes I play arty :P

All mods work fine on the 9.17.0.1 minipatch though it will break the XVM English bug fix - not a big deal!

Will update everything properly on Monday for you all :)
