Does this turn off all your chat? Or can you still use platoon chat?

I don't know, I usually solo. But it would be interesting to know

It does but the question was if a turned off ingame chat also turn off platoon chat. It is one think that you dont want to see all the public bullshit but reading answering your platoons friends chat should still possible.

 

And that a chatbans also blocks all ingame commands is a huge design flaw. This destroys teamplay even more. It is Ok not to write anything in chat but if it hurts your team because you cant even use the simplest commands it becomes stupid. Here WG should definately split it in two different things.

@ hall0 I didn't have time to check the platoon chat last night, was grinding on my EU account. T1/2 on EU is nuts pedotankers everywhere.

Platoon chat works with disable battle chat in options.

My chat is disabled.  Like others mention here, I'm just tired of reading all the fucking "siemka", "witam", "join my clan", ... bullshit.

 

So anyway, yes, I can still use the platoon chat.  I just have to tab twice before I can type (instead of after to choose your channel).
