Why do you have the \ around the font size?

Not sure why you have two flags for some players and only 1 for the T71 :/ code looks ok to me other than the above

Another issue you may have is when they die the names will still be full brightness, might be worth adding in alpha control on death; like alpha='{{alive?#FF|#80}}'

No idea why the \ but I removed it, and for some reason in the loading screen the flags work perfectly :party:

Do you have the flags also defined in the extra fields section? Doesn't look like it but a possibility...

how can i get the .png files to use {{v.nation}} to connect the route of each image file? any help would i would be such a relief .

if this helps "<img src='xvm://res/icons/carousel/{{v.nation}}{{v.marksOnGun}}.png' to see what i'm missing :facepalm:

You would need to place these folders in "mods\shared_resources\xvm\res\icons\carousel\marks_on_guns" if you have copied my config.

I have problems with PMOD server reticle: It doesn't expand. It's always small, like it's always fully aimed. There is no bloom when the gun moves. This is what my file looks like: http://pastebin.com/ys6CdXkA

Any ideas what to change or to install PMOD external server reticle (when i tried that thing, i got 2 normal crosshairs instead of game+server) ?

 

and also: is there a tank carousel mod without xvm? last version i tried to install just removed all of my HUD...

Post pmod.log if you have it, otherwise turn on debugging, and post it. If the file is fuck huge, just delete and load up a replay.

i dont have pmod.log and can you tell me where can i turn on debugging?

If you're using the latest version of PMoD your file path is not correct, the new file path by default for PMoD is "path" : "scripts/client/gui/mods/mod_pmod/gun_marker_standart.dds"; you also need to remove the spaces between the "/" in your filepath:

 

Yours:

"path": "scripts / client / mods / PMOD / ServerCross / gun_marker_blue.dds"

Correct:

"path": "scripts/client/mods/PMOD/ServerCross/gun_marker_blue.dds"

I've updated to PMOD 18.1 but the problem remains the same so i came to consclusion that the problem is not in the mods. When I run vanilla, the standard white server reticle does not show (even though it is turned on in the settings). I will run it as it is until It bores me, and then reinstall the game.

Debugging in PMOD should should be at the bottom of mod_pmod.json, just search for debug.

If not, you could just add

"debug": true

somewhere. (remember the comma if you're not placing at the very bottom.)

I haven't played actual Rampage mode so I validated components in my pack using Rampage replays.

Given that: I don't have any XVM stats on statistics screen (not that they're needed or useful here anyway) but other than few cosmetic changes I'm making, everything seems to be functioning as expected. No problems with damage logs, hit logs, score or the minimap etc.

By break I mean the players panel and statistics form of XVM don't work, AA+ doesn't work, and the OTM bugs out until you hit alt to flip to the other markets for a sec. Minimap, damage/hit log, sights, etc all work.

You have last known location on minimap (from xvm, not the ingame version)?

How does your statistics form look? mine makes it hard to read the player names and impossible to see clan tags.

None of the Rampage modes' components are implemented in XVM so yea, in-game stats form is bare and minimap features don't work beyond the basics. Although personally I find the information pointless anyway given the highly dynamic, nearly chaotic playstyle, other than making stats form more colorful/readable.

Does anybody know the path to the camo pattern files? Are they made like separate files or they are part of the vehicle model?

To be precise, i want to change the existing pattern to my own.

Wouldn't it just be a skin? Or do you want the camo bonus that comes with it?

As far as I know the skin method is easy but the camo one is a bit tricker, it looks like you can only edit the colours and not the patterns... from a bit of digging the game looks at four channels; RGB and alpha, then gives every channel a unique ID/Colour. A hex code is produced #RRGGBBAA and that can be modified through some sort of script (though not exactly 100% sure how yet as only been looking for 5 mins)

I've found some customization.xml files with inscription and camo patterns and they all contain paths to .dds of each inscription/camo file, and on the bottom they have that color channel system you mentioned. The problem is that I cannot find that files. They are obviously working properly so it's not the wrong path. Maybe they are somewhere in those package files.

I've found this mod but it's a skin so it doesn't come with the camo bonus. And again I have some issues with editing the files: nvidia dds plugin for photoshop doesn't seem to work for me (or i am too stupid to use it). When editing the sixth sense files i dont have background transparency (it's black background - despite havingh the alpha channel). And now if i open, for example, the american camo (with all 4 channels visible), it shows red and blue colored pattern. Is there some tutorial on editing game dds files? I've only found info that it needs to be saved as DXT5....

The dds plugin doesn't work with Photoshop CC, it does with CS6 etc though

Paint.net should be able to handle dds files though iirc
